On this day, an old friend living in Sapporo came to visit Osaka. It was a weekday, so I used paid vacation for the first time since joining my current company. At the request of my friend, we were going to enter the Tower of the Sun, so I transferred from the Hankyu train to the monorail to go to "Expo Park". I arrived about 40 minutes earlier than the meeting time, so I decided to explore the area. It was not crowded anywhere, probably because it was a weekday, making it very comfortable for me who dislikes crowds. As I walked around the facility from my home, I began to feel hot and wanted something cold to drink. I was allowed to order just a draft beer, and I was even provided with water, which I am grateful for. I will enjoy this "early draft beer" on my weekday paid vacation! My friend should be on their way here after transferring multiple times from Kansai Airport. I have already finished half of the glass in one sip. I would like to have another one, but I will resist the urge as I don't want to feel sad inside the Tower of the Sun. I would like to come back next time to try the delicious-looking hamburgers. (The wait was about 5 groups ahead, so about 15 minutes wait time with decent turnover) Now, onto the order. Lately, I've been really into cheese, so I chose this one. ● Quattro Cheese Honey Burger @ 1,760 yen I ordered this calorie monster of a hamburger with plenty of cheese and honey. After ordering, I enjoyed the weekday-exclusive salad while waiting. By the way, the dressing for the salad was surprisingly delicious. After about a 10-minute wait, my order was served. It was quite huge and juicy. I transferred it to the eating bag provided, drizzled my preferred amount of honey, and dug in. The richness of the cheese combined with the sweetness of the honey made it incredibly delicious. Of course, the patty was thick and tasty as well. I was torn between watching West Side Story and Death on the Nile, but since I like Agatha Christie, I decided to watch Death on the Nile. The movie ended at 12:05, and I was feeling hungry, so I was in the mood for a hearty hamburger. I went to J.S. Burger and wow, it was quite crowded for a weekday. We had previously dined at their store in Shinjuku Station South Exit and remembered the delicious but somewhat pricey burgers. Our orders included the Grilled Mushroom Burger and Potato Set, the JS Burger with added jalapenos and Potato Set (for my family), and drinks. The food arrived in less than 10 minutes. The Grilled Mushroom Burger featured a fluffy bun with red chicory, a thick hamburger patty, cheese, porcini cream sauce, and grilled shimeji mushrooms. The combination of flavors was delightful, with the shimeji mushrooms adding a hint of umami and the porcini cream sauce enhancing the overall taste. The red chicory, however, was unexpectedly bitter. My family enjoyed the JS Burger, which was a voluminous burger with cheese and avocado. The idea behind J.S. BURGERS is to allow customers shopping at the American culture-based select shop "JOURNAL STANDARD" to experience authentic American food culture as well. The burgers at J.S. BURGERS have a satisfying taste and I like the American atmosphere of the shop. It's a hidden gem away from the crowded dining area at the expo. The prices are a bit on the higher side for a burger shop, but the burgers have a great taste and are worth it. The Mushroom Cheese Dog was delicious with lots of mushrooms and a hearty sausage in the middle. The kids' set meals were also impressive, with a tasty soup and well-prepared burgers. The staff at the restaurant were friendly and provided quick service. I will definitely come back to J.S. BURGERS for a burger next time I visit the expo. Thank you for the delicious meal!

The burger was wrapped in special paper, giving it an American feel. Despite the generous portion, it was so tasty that we finished it quickly. It was a delightful meal.

I try to control myself because I'm sure it's high in calories, but I sometimes give in to temptation and have "Nikuniku" in between shopping. This time, I tried topping it with jalapenos for 100 yen. The free mustard is probably Heinz's yellow mustard, and it goes really well as a dip for the fries!! There is also a "spicy sauce" whose name I don't know, but it has a unique taste and I recommend it. Why not give it a try?

The banana, cream cheese, nuts, and trevis made for a unique and delicious taste. The fries were also tasty!
