I entered the standing soba shop inside Nankai Namba Station when it opened at 7 o'clock. I ordered the limited-time lemon noodles (cold) for 400 yen. You could choose between soba and udon, and I chose soba. The noodles seemed to be pre-made, but the lemon-flavored dipping sauce was refreshing and delicious.

Standing soba inside the ticket gate at Nankai Namba Station. It's right next to the entrance of the gate. I usually order tanuki soba at standing soba places, but in Osaka, tanuki soba should have fried tofu instead of tempura. Going for a Kansai-style option, I chose kombu soba this time. I bought a meal ticket. When I handed the ticket over at the counter, my order was ready in no time. The nice aroma of kombu stimulated my appetite. I heard that in Osaka, you can get unlimited tempura for free, but there was no tempura available at the counter. However, I could see it inside the kitchen. The noodles were boiled and had a soft texture. The green onions on top added a Kansai touch. The dipping sauce was semi-transparent and had a rich flavor. The shredded kombu on top was delicious. I noticed that they weren't boiling the soba or udon in the kitchen. They put the noodles in a square sieve-like container and ran it through a machine. They were saying "shuu" which made me wonder if they were steaming it. I'd like to try other unique menu items like meat soba or minced soba, which you don't find in Kanto. I'll definitely come back again. Thank you for the meal.

Today, I didn't have much time so I had standing soba. I had often seen Minami Kaisoba, but I had never actually been there. I ordered the set meal for 470 yen, which comes with mixed rice and soba. It's nice that the food comes out quickly after ordering at standing soba restaurants. I actually quite like it, so I come to these kinds of places occasionally. The mixed rice had a seasonal touch with bamboo shoots in it. The soba was consistently delicious and the cost performance is great, making it a friend of salarymen.

I had a quick meal at this place inside the ticket gate at Nankai Namba Station when transferring trains. I think that Osaka really has a high level of food quality, even at station eateries. The meat udon here had a slightly rich broth that was delicious, with plenty of meat, all for 460 yen! Thank you for the meal! 😊

I visited the Nankai Soba Namba 3rd floor store located inside Nankai Namba Station. Even if you don't use the Nankai train, you can visit Nankai Soba by requesting a facility entry pass. For those from the Kanto region, please be aware that when you order tanuki soba, kitsune soba will be served. It's a cultural difference.

Today's lunch was at Nankai Soba Namba Station 3rd floor store, where I had the "Ume Yuba Ankake Soba" for the first time in a while. I was heading to Sakai in the afternoon, so I decided to grab a bite to eat before taking the Nankai train, and went to Nankai Soba for the first time in a while. Standing in front of the ticket machine, I noticed the word "limited"... The limited items this time were three ankake series, but being from Wakayama, I went for the healthy Ume Yuba Ankake Soba with its sour flavor. Just that felt a bit lacking, so I added some inari sushi for good measure! After a short wait, the dish arrived. The ankake, thickened with egg, gently enveloped the soba, and the texture of the yuba and the sourness of the plum blended well together, creating a delicious combination. It was a bit of a struggle to eat it while it was piping hot, but I managed to finish it all. It was a great dish, and I left fully satisfied. While I usually go for the standard items at Nankai Soba, this was another excellent choice. Thank you for the meal. #NankaiSoba #NankaiNambaStation #UmeYubaAnkakeSoba

For lunch on this day, I visited the restaurant "Nankai Soba Namba 3rd Floor" located in Namba Station on the Nankai Line platform. Normally, this restaurant is frequented by customers catching trains. Similar to my previous visit to "Namba Kyushokujo," I was able to enter the restaurant by explaining at the ticket gate. This was very convenient. I purchased "Kitsune Udon for 350 yen" at the ticket machine. This restaurant, like other Nankai Soba locations, uses a special noodle cooking machine, which is really impressive! If you haven't seen it before, I highly recommend checking it out. Thank you for the meal!

I went to a standing soba shop to quickly have lunch. It's a convenient shop located inside the station. After much deliberation, I decided to go for the Special Soba in large size! (Actually, it was udon) It came in a big plate with udon, egg, green onions, and shrimp tempura. Thanks to that, I was full and ready for my next destination!! The only slightly disappointing thing was that the large size was a bit smaller than I expected. A bit lacking for hungry men (haha) but I will come back when I want to have a quick meal again!!

It's gone. Sad... Since it's Nanba Soba, they have soba noodles too. I've never ordered it though. This time, I had meat udon. It's a classic standing udon. This is good. I had eaten a Shumai bento from Sakai Kyogetsu, so I gave up on the mixed rice, but if you're eating udon, you must have mixed rice, so definitely try it.

Shrimp and Tomato Cream Sauce Soba for 550 yen. This unique soba dish is a must-try at this standing soba shop. Instead of paying 1000 yen at a trendy but flavorless pasta restaurant, go for this option. The generous amount of creamy sauce with shrimp and tomato on top of the noodles is rich and flavorful. It's perfect for those who find the usual light Kansai-style broth lacking. The smooth noodles pair well with the sauce, making it easy to slurp up with chopsticks.

On the way to the work site, I realized that I had hardly eaten anything since morning, so I decided to grab a bite to eat here. I still had about 15 minutes before catching the train I needed to take. I purchased "zaru soba" from the ticket vending machine. It was served promptly. The slightly dark soba had a refreshing texture, and it was perfect for a standing meal. I was a little happy to see a quail egg included.

At Nankai Namba Station, on the 3rd floor near the ticket gate, there is a stylish looking shop that doesn't appear to be a soba restaurant. It's always busy with customers coming and going, and there are often lines because the turnover is quick. I had the Kakiage Soba (350 yen) with extra tempura (70 yen). The broth had a nice bonito flavor and was easy to drink. The soba noodles were slightly soft but had a smooth and pleasant texture. It's a shame they don't have the tower of chopsticks anymore, but I'm grateful for being able to eat at such a low price. This shop seamlessly integrates into everyday life, adapting to cost-cutting measures and adjusting their customer service operations to the changing times.

I'm in Osaka. In Namba, Minami. There is a shop on the 3rd floor of Nankai Namba Station. I had some time before Southern's show, so I visited this place for breakfast. I put money into the ticket machine and bought a meal ticket. Lately, I've been choosing soba more often, but this time I decided to try udon after a long time. I pressed the button for Kitsune Udon for 320 yen!! I took the meal ticket inside the shop, prepared some water, handed the ticket to the counter, and placed my order. A few minutes later, the awaited Kitsune Udon arrived. When I tasted the broth, it felt like it had changed somehow. The udon also seemed a bit tastier before? Did the supplier change? It's just my feeling, but if I have the chance, I'd like to try soba next time to see if it was just this time.

I finally tried standing soba, which I had always admired! I was torn between meat soba and tempura soba, but I chose tempura soba. It was cheap, came out quickly, and was delicious. You have to get your own water. The male manager (or owner?) didn't say "thank you" to me like he did to others, maybe because I'm a woman, which made me a little disappointed. Nevertheless, thank you for the meal!

I went to Osaka. I took a flight from Haneda in the 7 o'clock hour to Kansai Airport. From Kansai Airport, I arrived at Namba on the Nankai train. I left home without eating anything, so I was hungry. What caught my eye was the sign for "Nankai Soba". I haven't eaten much stand-up soba in Kansai, so I decided to go in. I had the "Seasonal Kaya Gohan Set Meal" with soba noodles. The broth was sweet. The noodles were soft. I wished there were more toppings in the kaya gohan. That's my record of eating at "Nankai Soba" for the first time. Thank you for the meal.

After a light standing drink, I revisited the standing udon restaurant. But man, standing all day is tiring, I need a break before heading home. Oh! I mean taking a breather, just to clarify! Anyway, I ordered the kitsune udon for 320 yen. By the way, it's my first visit since Nankai Soba moved inside the ticket gate on the third floor. The fried tofu was big and the taste was familiar and just delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Standing soba may be the right choice for some, but the temperature of the dipping sauce was quite low, and the seasoning was rather bland, almost watery. The counter table was supposed to be wiped by customers with napkins after eating, but of course, some forget to do so, leaving it dirty for the next person. This time, I wiped it myself. I ordered the Wakatake soba with beef and inari topping for 800 yen. The cost performance wasn't particularly good either.

Next to the ticket gate at Namba Station, there is a standing-eating restaurant. I tried ordering curry udon for the first time at this restaurant. The taste is delicious. It's not too spicy, which is good. I highly recommend topping it with shrimp tempura and a raw egg.

Nankai Soba has several locations in Nankai Namba Station, but the one on the third floor is the one I often visit. It is located on the Koya Line side and has a spacious standing area, so it is rarely full. Lately, it has been open until 10pm, which is convenient. The prices are reasonable. I recommend the kitsune udon here. The fried tofu is sweet and very delicious.

I visited "Nankai Soba Namba 3rd Floor Store" located inside Namba Station on the 3rd floor of Nankai Electric Railway around 3 pm on a certain day in February 2022. I selected "Sansai Soba" for ¥310 at the food ticket machine at the entrance of the store. The store, which is not very spacious, had about 5 customers before me. I stood at the standing counter and presented my food ticket. After waiting for about 2 minutes, the soba was served. The soba noodles were slightly thick and paired with a flavorful broth. It also had plenty of mountain vegetables and green onions. The noodles were on the softer side, but it was enjoyable as a Osaka-style soba. The mountain vegetables were a common variety and went well with the light soba. It was very easy to eat and I found myself finishing it quickly. I added some chili pepper for extra flavor and spiciness. It was a great way to enjoy the umami of the Kansai-style broth. "Nankai Soba" offers a convenient standing soba and udon option inside the ticket gate, where you can fully enjoy the experience of standing and eating soba noodles. Most customers seemed to choose soba as their meal. The Sansai Soba, which served as a light meal, was finished in no time. It was a dish that made me want to savor the broth as well. I was once again impressed by the affordability of ¥310. Visiting "Nankai Soba" for standing soba and udon inside the ticket gate made me truly feel like I was in Osaka.
