I was drawn in by the 30-minute all-you-can-drink for 299 yen and decided to visit. It's completely self-service, but that's part of the fun. It seemed like there were only two people running the place that day, so they mentioned that it might take some time for the food to be served. However, the food actually arrived quite quickly. The prices of the dishes were reasonable. Some people at the tables were grilling their own food on a hot plate, and it looked delicious. Even if you don't have a hot plate at your table, they will grill the food for you in the back. It's great that you can choose your own ingredients. I initially planned to stay for just 30 minutes, but ended up lingering for 90 minutes. Thank you for the meal!

For dinner, I headed to a curry restaurant nearby, but it seemed to close early as I couldn't get in. I ended up deciding between yakitori or seafood, and went to a bustling seafood izakaya nearby. When I sat down, I found out that drinks were self-service and all-you-can-drink in 30-minute intervals. In the end, it was quite an enjoyable restaurant experience. I ordered a sashimi assortment for 600 yen and steamed clams for about 500 yen. I had a few refills of drinks and spent just over 2000 yen in less than an hour. I was the only solo customer, everyone else was having a great time drinking and chatting. It was a nice place where I didn't have to worry about anything.

A group of four colleagues visited this restaurant. The self-service all-you-can-drink for 30 minutes at 299 yen is very attractive. There is no additional charge after 2 hours, which is respectable. The menu is quite diverse, with sashimi, fried food, grilled dishes, and more. They have super spicy options for dishes like Neapolitan and mapo tofu, but the "Deathly Spicy" Neapolitan was extremely spicy. Even for someone who loves spicy food, it was quite intense. The lively and fun atmosphere of the restaurant was great. Overall, it was a good experience. Thank you for the meal.

◯Ordered items... various dishes such as bonito sashimi, pork kimchi, etc.
◯Cuisine... A place where you can save money by adding your own alcohol. It's a great spot to hang out with friends, chat for hours, and not worry too much about the bill. The prices for drinks and food are really cheap. They also have a wide variety of small dishes and a la carte options, so I highly recommend it.

"Higo Bridge Lunch 45th Edition: Namihei"
I was a little hesitant to enter because it seemed like a place more for men, but I couldn't resist the seafood bowl lunch (lol) and decided to go in. As I was dining alone, I was seated at the counter and ordered my favorite salmon bowl for 700 yen. They had small dishes at the entrance for you to help yourself to, so I grabbed a macaroni salad and a dish that looked like scrambled eggs - you can eat as many small dishes as you like, which is a great deal! However, there was a note saying to eat everything on your plate, so make sure not to leave any leftovers. I finished the small dishes quickly, but I wish I had saved some to eat with the leftover rice from the salmon bowl. It's a restaurant that seems to cater more to men, but they have counter seating so it's a good spot for women to enjoy a quick lunch too."

Self-drink all-you-can-drink for 30 minutes / 299 yen
Since it is self-service, you can drink whatever you like, like at a drink bar. The beer is automatic, so you can make a nice foam. You can also adjust the strength yourself, which was nice. The appetizer was tuna macaroni salad.
Potato Salad: Half a potato, 1 boiled egg, plenty of mayonnaise, and crispy bacon are all included. You can crush the ingredients yourself while adjusting their size and enjoy.

I visited for lunch. When it says that you can eat as much rice and curry as you want with the Chicken Nanban set, I can't help but choose the Chicken Nanban Curry. But the evening option seems promising with a 30-minute all-you-can-drink for 299 yen. It really feels like Osaka! (*´艸`*)

The sashimi set meal here is truly wonderful. I haven't had much of an appetite lately, so I haven't been here in a while, but today I feel like I can eat! When you're not in the mood for fried food, this is the place to go! It's been a while and the sashimi plating is different and fresh. The staff, including a homely woman and a calm person, make me feel at ease. Due to COVID, the self-service items like raw egg and natto are now kept in the fridge. But the staff didn't inform me about it, so I noticed it late. The natto should have been pre-packaged for infection prevention, I think. I would be happy if the side dish was a vegetable like cheap bean sprout namul. Despite the reasonable price, the content is quite impressive and they are subtly promoting their business. No heartburn and feeling full, ready to head back to the battlefield.

Today is a day off, so I spent time organizing documents and studying on my computer. My eyes are tired from staring at the screen, so I decided to take a short drive and have lunch in Higobashi. I arrived smoothly and decided to try a place recommended by Akira. The fish looked good, so I had high hopes. I ordered the salmon bowl from the menu, which seemed cheap and delicious. It arrived in about 7-8 minutes. The portion was a bit small, with thinly sliced salmon and average taste. It was slightly disappointing for the price, but I managed to finish it quickly. I bought a bento box to take home. Overall, today's lunch was a salmon bowl for 700 yen and a drink for 300 yen.

I'm hooked on this place. I was surprised by the amount of food that came out when I first visited. Rice and miso soup are free refills, and curry and raw eggs with natto are also free! I've never tried the curry, but I've had the raw eggs with natto over rice a few times. I've been back several times already. At first, the chef would serve the food and I was really impressed at the price, but later on it was just young part-time workers. It didn't really affect the taste, but sometimes the miso soup would be overcooked and bland, and there was too much chatter among the staff. But it's delicious, so I'll go back again. I feel like the sashimi has lost its freshness since winter started, which is the opposite of what I expected, but maybe it's just my imagination.

I often go to Higo Bridge, so I had lunch at Namihei-san on this day. There were mostly salarymen customers. Despite having a decent amount of customers, the two staff members seemed to be struggling a bit. I chose the sashimi platter set. Upon checking on Tabelog later, I found out that many people order the kushikatsu. I would like to try that next time. Thank you for the meal.

Higo Bridge Izakaya Lunch [Edobori 1-chome] About 5 minutes walk southwest from Higobashi Station. A large signboard for lunch menu caught my eye in front of the store!! ◆Daily special set meal (850 yen) - Yakiniku & dashimaki "Limited to 15 servings" ◆Daily special bowl (650 yen) - Shirasu bowl "Limited to 7 servings" ◆Mackerel salt-grilled set meal (750 yen) ◆Beef cutlet set meal (980 yen) ◆Namihei Gozen (980 yen) and various others *Free rice refill I sat at the counter alone and immediately said, "I'll have the daily special set meal." It was ready in about 3 minutes. Hmmm... there was indeed dashimaki and yakiniku (bitter smile). I had imagined a large portion because it was written as dashimaki, but it was just a couple of pieces. I later found out that this restaurant offers curry, natto, and eggs for free in the central part of the store (all free). Although I didn't eat them, if they were included, I might have been satisfied with the amount of side dishes. "You should have told me earlier~" To newcomers, it may not be clear ⤵︎ Thank you for the meal. Ryoma Nishikawa is in great shape at No. 5 ⚾︎

I went out for lunch alone for the first time in a while. It was crowded outside, so I hurried into a restaurant to avoid being left without a lunch option. I wanted to have beef cutlet, but they were already sold out... After some hesitation, I decided to go with the lunch set of skewered cutlets. Eating skewered cutlets for lunch made me feel like having a drink in the afternoon. The set came with 7 skewers, a side dish, rice, and miso soup. I sat at the counter as a solo diner, but I realized halfway through my meal that they also had curry and additional rice available for free near the entrance. I felt like I missed out on something, but I finished my meal without getting any extra rice. If I were to go back for a rematch, I would definitely go for the beef cutlet! They have a variety of lunch options, but next time, I'll make sure to try the beef cutlet.

The small dish was filled with vegetables! I don't have a photo, but after that, there was another small dish with different vegetables. Thank you. When you want to eat well but don't want to feel heavy, this is the perfect choice.

Self-service drink. Self-service is totally okay. Prices are cheap, very cheap. They have grilled dishes, sashimi, and cater to the common people. I will definitely go back. Wait for me, Master!
