I was looking for a delicious place around Sumiyoshi and came across this place. It seems famous for blowfish. The blowfish was a bit small, but each dish was handmade and delicious. There weren't many customers on weekdays.

I visited this restaurant based on the reviews on Tabelog. The restaurant is usually empty at relatively early hours (even though the place itself is spacious). The appetizers increased my expectations. I started with the sashimi plate. It was more affordable compared to my usual spot and had a satisfying portion. However, I was a bit disappointed that the plates were not chilled like in my usual spot, which I enjoy. But considering the lower price, it was not a big issue. The sushi, eel roll, and medium fatty tuna were all delicious. The variety of tempura, matsutake mushroom hot pot, and grilled chicken kept my husband satisfied. I tried their main dish, the hot pot, for the first time. I was a bit unsure about how often they serve hot pot, but I ordered the hot pot course for 4800 yen. It included various dishes like skin fingerling, sashimi, hot pot, and zousui. The sashimi was thick and had a great texture. The fugu arrived at the table and my husband was surprised to see it moving so much. The portion was generous and the texture of the fugu was amazing. The inclusion of fugu liver was a nice touch. The zousui at the end was served with well-washed rice, which I appreciate. The hot zousui and the cold pickles that came with it were delicious. I have been here about 5 times and have never been disappointed, so I will definitely visit again when I crave fish. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the restaurant during the Obon festival in the middle of August. Despite being in a residential area, I decided to visit because I thought the restaurant would be busy with families gathering for the festival. I made a same-day reservation for two people and arrived around 7 pm. The restaurant was packed, so I opted for a course menu to avoid ordering individual dishes. The chef was busy with a large family group in the back room, so I decided to wait patiently for each course to be served. The first dish was boiled conger eel, followed by eel tempura, grilled eel sushi, and eel roe with matsutake mushrooms. I enjoyed some sake with my meal. The highlight was the eel hot pot, which was incredibly filling. Despite feeling full, I decided to try the rice porridge as the final course. The food was delicious and the service was attentive, making for a memorable dining experience.

The atmosphere is like a seafood izakaya where you sit at the counter with a sushi case like a traditional sushi restaurant. There are even live pufferfish swimming in a tank. Pufferfish can be eaten all year round. We started with a beer and a sashimi platter, which included 7-8 varieties of sashimi such as tuna, white fish, shellfish, and sea urchin, all fresh and delicious. We also ordered tempura with conger eel, which was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. We tried various dishes like simmered dishes and grilled dishes. Finally, we ended with a platter of sushi. It's great that you can enjoy delicious fish at a reasonable price at this izakaya. Located at 6-1-35 Enriosono, Sumiyoshi-ku, Osaka City.

Seafood dishes are delicious! I wasn't expecting much from the appearance and interior layout of the restaurant, but the quality of the food exceeded my expectations. The sashimi is prepared fresh after ordering, so the meat is still moving on the plate when it arrives. The taste is so good that I could eat as much as I want. The tempura and a la carte dishes are also prepared after ordering, so they are fresh and flavorful. The tempura was crispy and delicious! In terms of cost performance, it feels like a 20-30% discount. Noteworthy is the excellent service from the staff. Even when the restaurant was busy with about 20 customers and only 2 staff members, they always took our orders. Although the dishes took a bit long to come out, watching them being prepared in the kitchen felt like a performance in itself. It's a bit more expensive than a typical izakaya, so it won't be my regular spot, but I definitely want to go back.

I was taken to this restaurant by my boss. It seemed like my boss was also visiting for the first time. The head chef was very personable and the fish was fresh, so I was very satisfied!! I usually try to avoid drinking when taken out by my boss, but this time the food and drinks were so good that I felt like my stomach was going to burst. They had a variety of dishes like tempura, sashimi, and simmered dishes, so I definitely want to come back here again with my boss. Thank you for the delicious meal!! I will definitely visit again!!

The energetic personality of the head chef is delightful! I was feeling quite tired from work on this day and was looking to regain some energy through a meal, so I searched for a seafood restaurant and decided to go to this place. As soon as I walked in, I was uplifted by the cheerful greetings from the staff. The food was delicious, with fresh seafood that left nothing to be desired. And on top of that, the head chef's positivity gave me even more energy to tackle the day ahead. Thank you, head chef!

I went with 4 friends and I highly recommend the fugu hot pot. They prepare the fugu right in front of you at the counter, and it's so fresh that it's still moving when it's brought to your table. The rice porridge at the end is amazing. They display the ingredients in front of the counter, so it's nice to order while looking at them. My friends also enjoyed it. The prices are reasonable too. The fish simmered in soy sauce is also delicious. The head chef was smiling and full of energy, which was great.
