We started with chicken sashimi, followed by the classic grilled local chicken over charcoal. It was so delicious that we ordered more. And then, the incredibly tasty hinadori (young chicken) fried. The crispy spiced coating was irresistible. After a salad, it was time for the hot pot. We could choose between the regular local chicken hot pot or chicken sukiyaki. This table chose sukiyaki. A set like this arrived, and we prepared it. First, lightly grill the chicken and add the broth. Then add the vegetables and wait a few minutes... it's ready! Of course, we dipped it in raw egg. It was delicious. Even the udon noodles at the end were delicious. The 'kuroi-sa' (dark sake) was reportedly 'very popular' and lined up at the counter. We opened two 1.8L bottles. Although I am from Fukuoka, I had never really eaten sukiyaki in my area before. This was my first time trying it, and wow, this is sukiyaki! I thought it would be oilier, but even though I don't like oily food, I could eat this up. The soup is delicious, with a strong chicken broth flavor that goes perfectly with alcohol. I also ordered the charcoal-grilled local chicken, and it was amazing! The charcoal flavor was intense but not bitter at all. It was delicious!

Cheap!! Large portions for free and the servings are generous!! Quite delicious!! Lunch starts at 500 yen (tax included). It's a pretty good restaurant. Today I had the chicken curry, but next time I'll try the spicy fried chicken set with extra rice haha. I'm so full. Thank you for the meal.

I visited for lunch. I had the Chicken Nanban set meal for 600 yen. It was generously topped with sweet vinegar and plenty of tartar sauce. The flavor was a bit strong for my liking. The rice was a bit hard, making me wonder when it was cooked. It was disappointing that smoking was allowed, as most customers were smokers and it felt smoky.

After finishing work at the Fukuoka office, I went out for drinks with a colleague who is in charge of the base. He took me to a decent restaurant, unlike the usual places we go with the team on business trips. I was worried it might be somewhere fancy like "Yoro no Taki," but surprisingly, there was a nice drinking district behind the office. He took me to an izakaya that specializes in chicken dishes. They had a evening set for 1,080 yen, which included drinks and half-sized dishes. We ordered sashimi and grilled chicken thigh. It was really delicious! They said they use chicken from the Goto Islands, but my drunken memory isn't the most reliable. We had all-you-can-drink, so we ordered more drinks and additional dishes. Normally they have a course menu centered around hot pot, but we weren't in the mood for that, so we left feeling satisfied. We had been drinking for almost 2 hours from 5:30, so it was almost 8 o'clock when we left. We debated whether to go straight back to the hotel or stop by a curry shop, but I was too full to eat more. So, we just bought some drinks at a convenience store and headed back to the hotel in Nakasu, Fukuoka's entertainment district. It's funny how we ended up going to bed early in such a lively area. I guess getting older changes your priorities.

Visited once a month on rotation. Had grilled chicken thigh and fried baby chicken with a glass of draft beer and black shochu.

Grilled chicken thighs and fried quail are always a hit. The liver sashimi that comes in on Tuesdays and Fridays is best enjoyed with salt and sesame oil. A cold beer followed by sweet potato shochu (Sangetsu) sets the mood just right! Thank you for the delicious meal.

I went to a welcome party for a new colleague at a restaurant specializing in chicken dishes called "Jidori". There are several of them around Hakata. I didn't take many photos, but all the dishes were delicious in their own way.

After work, I was taken to "My History" by customer NNJ. The restaurant is famous for Miyazaki Jidori chicken. We had a great time chatting and drinking together. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I think it's the best Mizutaki restaurant in Fukuoka!

It was very delicious. The staff were also very accommodating and I was satisfied.

The chicken dish is the main highlight. It's a bit heavily seasoned but delicious.

The portion was generous and it was incredibly delicious.
