Courtyard by Marriott Shin-Osaka Station's 'Dining & Bar LAVAROCK' is a restaurant where you can enjoy juicy grilled dishes that bring out the umami of the ingredients to the fullest with the far-infrared effect of lava stones. I went for lunch and tried the "GREEN SPRING BURGER" ¥3,750 (tax included), a spring limited edition burger perfect for the season of fresh greenery. The burger is filled with an abundance of vegetables that overflow from the buns, making it a voluminous delight. You can make reservations through the hotel's official website, and you even get a complimentary drink. I chose cranberry juice, which came in a surprisingly large glass that required careful handling. Definitely a better deal to book through the hotel's official site. The hotel's special buns are infused with mugwort, giving them a slight green color. They are spread with Osaka's local sauce "Hermes sauce" and topped with fresh romaine lettuce. The patty is made of 100% domestic beef, topped with nori and herb breadcrumbs for added color and flavor. The sandwich also includes a salad of arugula, watercress, and tender, sweet spring cabbage. The sauce is incredibly delicious! It is a mix of avocado and Chevre cheese made from goat's milk, giving it a rich yet mild flavor. The goat's milk is said to be in season in spring when goats give birth and produce nutritious milk from eating lots of grass and flowers. The vibrant red fresh tomato adds a pop of color to the greenery. The burger comes with herb-coated fried potatoes on the side. The crispy outer layer and fluffy interior of the potatoes made for a satisfying side dish. They use the delicious variety, Kitakari. The green tomato spicy salsa in the glass has a refreshing acidity typical of tomatoes, with a hint of spiciness from spices and chili peppers that adds a new dimension of flavor when paired with the burger. The large burger allows for flavor variations throughout, keeping it enjoyable until the last bite. It was also delicious when dipped in the potatoes. Courtyard by Marriott Shin-Osaka Station is conveniently located directly connected to Shin-Osaka Station via a pedestrian bridge. If you love burgers, want to enjoy plenty of vegetables, or want to savor Chevre cheese, be sure to check it out. The autumn theme is red at Courtyard by Marriott Hotel Shin-Osaka LAVAROCK DINING & BAR in front of Shin-Osaka Station. SPICY RED! DOUBLE BEEF BURGER. A special burger with red and spicy flavors, featuring a patty made with 100% domestic beef and Cajun-spiced roast beef sandwiched between buns infused with red chili peppers. The burger also includes romaine lettuce, tomato, grilled red onion, chili sauce, Angus beef roast beef, and Cajun-flavored red onion and cabbage slaw. Served with side potato fries, sour cream, and mint-scented pickles. This burger is perfect for those who enjoy spicy flavors. Enjoyed sharing this luxurious and flavorful burger.

For breakfast, they had a buffet with egg dishes, desserts, and coffee available for order. I planned to eat takoyaki and kushikatsu at the station later, so I intended to eat lightly. However, I ended up eating too much and couldn't eat either of them. It's frustrating (laughs). The milk tea was available for takeout, so I'll make the old lady at the shop happy (*´▽`*).

It was my first business trip to Osaka in a while. I was invited by a client for dinner here. They had made a reservation for us, so I didn't know what to expect, but it turned out to be a course meal with sparkling wine. The appetizers looked beautiful and tasted delicious. I felt a bit hungry in the beginning, but by the time the main course arrived, I was already full and couldn't finish the meat dish, let alone the dessert. I left my knife and fork at 4 o'clock position hoping they would clear the plates, but they didn't until the dessert arrived late. I didn't know there was dessert coming, so I only took a bite before leaving. In hindsight, I should have asked about the menu beforehand so I could have paced myself better. It's just my personal preference, but I wish they had provided a menu for the course meal on the table.

I used it for a family meal. The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of the Courtyard Shin-Osaka, right in front of Shin-Osaka Station. It is directly accessible from the station via a walkway connecting to the 2nd floor. It is convenient for families with children who cannot eat too much and want to enjoy a slightly course-like meal. The restaurant specializes in grilled dishes. I was happy to enjoy dishes using foie gras for the first time in a while, as well as mini hamburgers and grilled meats that are characteristic of this restaurant. There is also a children's lunch menu, making it a reassuring choice for families. The drink all-you-can option comes in large jugs, so I couldn't drink too many, but it's fine to order them individually.

Marriott Hotel (Shin-Osaka) 2F restaurant. It seems to be an all-day dining, open from morning to night. In the morning, there is a buffet with high-quality food. You can choose between Japanese or Western for the main dish, and then help yourself to whatever you like from the buffet. The smoked salmon is of very good quality, making you want wine more than coffee. At night, the specialty seems to be stone-grilled dishes. On this day, we had a plate of three types of meat and an appetizer set. The meat was not just about volume, but also had good quality, seasoning, and grilling, which was very surprising. The crispy texture made us keep eating (and drinking).

New Osaka is a crucial location for businessmen on their travels. This hotel near Shin-Osaka Station stands out from other business hotels with its luxurious feel and advantageous location for travel. It can be considered a step above other hotels in the area. The breakfast here is unique, with the option to choose egg dishes. The portion size and variety of items are just right. While they offer multiple types of bread, it's impossible to try them all (laughs). Starting the day with orange juice to wake up the body, and ending with a calming cup of tea. It's a truly elegant moment for a businessman. Personally, I prefer hotels with hot springs like Dormy Inn, but having breakfast at a hotel like this is nice once in a while.

I often use this hotel in the early morning. Normally it is buffet style, but due to the current situation, they are serving set meals. I tend to overeat at buffets, so I think set meals are better for me! In the evening, they also provide some snacks in the lounge, along with alcohol. I will go out after having a hearty meal in the morning. Thank you for the meal.

I have tried various hotel buffet breakfasts, but the breakfast here was great as you could order omelettes and Eggs Benedict at your table. The portion size was also good. You can enjoy breakfast here even if you are not staying at the hotel. It costs 3000 yen per person, which is similar to the prices at international or slightly upscale hotels, so it's worth coming here. The service was also excellent. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Restaurant located near the 3rd floor lobby of the hotel "Courtyard by Marriott" in Shin-Osaka. They offer a drink all-you-can option with sparkling wine and customizable cocktails. Although it is a bit pricey, they use many ingredients from Osaka, making it recommended for business travelers and tourists from other regions. The restaurant is easily accessible from the Shinkansen ticket gate at Shin-Osaka Station. The interior is a spacious hall where you can have a quiet conversation. The service is excellent, with staff coming to you just with eye contact at times. The clientele mainly consists of well-dressed business people, but casual attire is also acceptable. Families could go, but it's quiet so noisy children might be disruptive. The course menu includes 5 dishes such as Izumi squid and Angus beef with a 2-hour all-you-can-drink option including sparkling wine for 6,800 yen. The total price including tax was 10,785 yen, but booking through a discount service brought it down to 6,800 yen, and with GoToEat, you could earn 1000 points, making it a great deal. The dishes included Izumi squid prepared in two different styles, Osaka-grown chrysanthemum greens Genovese pasta with Izumi eel, Suzuki fish with kadaif crust and Manhattan clam chowder sauce, Angus beef grill with gravy sauce, and a dessert of tea-flavored chiffon cake with African spice cream, figs, and persimmons. The bread was unlimited and delicious, served with olive oil and salt and pepper. The drinks included a variety of cocktails where you could mix and match different bases, mixers, and juices. Overall, the food was delicious, showcasing Osaka ingredients, and the drinks were excellent. Though it may seem a bit pricey at 10,000 yen, the discounted price made it a great value. It's worth considering for business entertainment as well.

American breakfast for 3630 yen. The bread was average. The butter was too melted and runny. Omelette, salad, fruits were good. Smoothie, fresh juice, yogurt, coffee were included. I hope the buffet will reopen soon.

Since the hotel was renovated, I had only visited once for tea, but this time I went for lunch. I wanted to have beef, so I chose the lunch set for an additional 1,200 yen. The atmosphere is casual, but the staff, being from a hotel, provided proper service. The lunch had a good amount of food and was just right. The seasoning was a bit strong. Thank you for the meal.

Accommodation is in a convenient location connected by a pedestrian bridge from Shin-Osaka Station, Shin-Osaka Marriott! Since I arrived late, I had a light dinner inside the accommodation - it's like a lobby lounge, but they also serve proper steaks, so it seems to attract nearby business users as well! It may feel a bit crowded, but the service is reliable. It was spacious and there was no problem even without a reservation. I ordered a casual mini-course. I didn't order the specialty burger, but it was amusing to see mini burgers served as an amuse-bouche! They offer free-flow wine made from their own vineyard in France, which is quite substantial. With the meal included, it was around 7,000 yen, and considering the content, it felt quite reasonably priced.

In Osaka city, there is a restaurant located in a hotel that can be reached by heading right from the central exit of Shin-Osaka Station, passing by McDonald's. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating. I visited on a Friday afternoon around 11 o'clock. There were about 15 customers in the restaurant, so it still felt quite empty due to its size. The clientele seemed different from the usual crowd, with conversations that felt like showing off. I felt a bit uncomfortable. I found the burger I wanted on the menu and ordered the Marriott Burger for 1900 yen, excluding service charge and tax. The service charge is 10%, and then the consumption tax is added on top. While the price was fair considering the contents, I still wish the service charge was included in the item price for clarity. After a 15-minute wait, the burger arrived. It looked like it had a lot of fries, and it was huge. I couldn't tell how many potatoes were used, but it was a substantial amount. The fries were cut quite large and had a strong salty flavor. I enjoyed them with the usual Heinz ketchup and mustard found in burger joints. The burger itself was topped with bacon, cheese, patty, tomato, and lettuce. The patty was larger than the buns, so there was some excess. The patty was juicy and delicious, and the burger came with various pickled vegetables that were tangy. Overall, it was a satisfying meal with a high price tag, but the quality matched the cost. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Theme: About the restaurant visited today (6632) Category: Food establishments Last Wednesday, I had a day off and went for a lunch meeting. It was in Shin-Osaka, a place I wouldn't normally go unless I was taking the Shinkansen. Courtyard by Marriott Shin-Osaka Station Hotel's dining area. This hotel was renovated a few years ago, and well, I don't stay in luxury hotels but a friend's husband is a Marriott member, so they suggested we have lunch at the Marriott in Shin-Osaka because it's affordable and delicious. Well, as you can see, the food was very delicious and filling! We had a great time chatting, and it was a fun day after a long time. Oh, and since we made a reservation through Ikkyu Restaurant, the price was very reasonable. It was around 2600 yen~

We used it for a company girls' gathering! The interior has a piano performance, giving it a luxurious feel, but it's not too formal and more casual. The course meal had dishes with tapioca, giving it a feel of enjoying the last of Heisei era cuisine. The dishes were quite generous, with both meat and fish options. The women around us got excited with the sparkling wine at first, then with the stylish appetizers. Even those who couldn't drink alcohol were happy with the variety of non-alcoholic drinks. They said the pear drink was really delicious. I'm sure we'll use it again for our company girls' gathering. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Marriott Burger @ Dining & Bar LAVAROCK in Yodogawa-ku, Osaka City I had been craving a gourmet burger with towering patties and buns. The thick American patty oozing with juices, and the cheddar cheese melting alongside it. While there were several burger shops around Yotsuhashi, I could only find hits for McDonald's or Mos Burger when searching in Shin-Osaka. However, I came across the word "Marriott Burger", a signature menu offered at Marriott Hotels worldwide. It seemed that I could enjoy this Marriott Burger at a hotel in Shin-Osaka. Courtyard by Marriott. Ah, so there was a Marriott Hotel affiliate in Shin-Osaka. Regardless of the price, I was determined to indulge in a meaty burger! I headed to the hotel with a friend. The customers consisted of salarymen likely dining on expense accounts and travelers or elderly individuals with time and money to spare. Even during lunchtime, there was a relaxed atmosphere typical of hotel dining. The gourmet burger I reunited with after a long time was served on a wooden tray, with fries and pickles neatly arranged on a steel stand, creating a three-dimensional presentation. The portion of fries was so generous that even men would find it challenging to finish. The burger itself was about 20cm thick. After a moment of hesitation, I ultimately dug in, crushing the burger and making a mess around my mouth. The dripping meat juices, the rich melting cheese, and the crispy bacon adding a flavorful touch - the taste we were looking for was all there. However, the service was quite slow. Since most customers were not in a rush, it seemed to match their needs.

On March 30, 2019, I had lunch at Tsukiji Osaka. The station was bustling with new students, new employees, and foreign tourists coming and going. There were many restaurants, but they were all crowded. I exited from the north gate (2nd floor), crossed the pedestrian deck, and arrived at the Courtyard Hotel. The lobby was full of foreign guests, but the restaurant was quiet and spacious. The prices were reasonable, the portions were generous, and the food was delicious. The service was also excellent. I ordered the Grill Lunch ¥2,500 course (excluding tax and service charge). It included today's appetizer, salad, soup, a choice of pork, salmon, or Oyama chicken as the main dish, dessert, and coffee. Bread was refillable. Thank you for the meal.

The Courtyard Marriott is a hotel I often use because it is close to Shin-Osaka Shinkansen station. The proximity to the station is important when you have an early morning schedule the next day. Breakfast starts at 6:30 AM, which is just 30 minutes earlier than other hotels, making it convenient for early risers. The breakfast selection is extensive, with various egg dishes like scrambled eggs, omelets, and poached eggs. They even offer a variety of ingredients for omelets and different types of boiled eggs. The hotel caters to international guests, with English and Chinese signage. They also serve traditional Japanese breakfast items like yudofu and grilled fish. If you have the time, you can enjoy a luxurious breakfast with fresh juices and smoothies. You can pay an additional fee for extra guests, making it a great place for morning meetings. Enjoy a wonderful start to your day with a morning meeting at this hotel!

When I go to Osaka, I always contact N-san. There are many things I want to talk about all night, but for now, I'll have to settle for a lunch meeting. Last month, I went to Courtyard by Marriott Shin-Osaka Station Hotel, which is conveniently located near Shin-Osaka Station. It's right by the central exit (on the Midosuji Line side) of Shin-Osaka Station, just across the pedestrian bridge as soon as you exit the station building. Very close to the station! I had lunch at "LAVAROCK DINING & BAR" on the lobby floor. The tables were spaced out quite generously, which was nice. The "Grill Lunch" includes two main dishes (meat & fish), a total of 4 items, and a 2-hour all-you-can-drink including sparkling wine, all for 3700 yen including tax. We started with a toast with sparkling wine. Surprisingly, cocktails were also included in the all-you-can-drink menu. It was a delightful all-you-can-drink menu. The appetizer consisted of 4 types of dishes. Each dish was just a bite, but they were all delicious with great flavors. The Caprese, for example, had a mix of 3 types of cherry tomatoes, and the octopus salad had a fantastic dressing. They were perfect with alcohol. The olive oil for bread was also stylish. It was Alexis Munoz, a Spanish olive oil. I was surprised by how good it tasted when I tried it on bread, making it a great accompaniment to wine. The pumpkin soup was sweet and delicious. For the main course, we had grilled chicken thigh and sea bream. The sea bream was particularly tender and tasty. Each dish was meticulously prepared and had great flavors. The free drinks included Yuzu Sake, Caipiroska Sangria, and more. I had a variety of drinks while chatting, and it was easy to keep drinking. We ended with dessert and more sparkling wine, enjoying a delicious dessert. We had a great time chatting and drinking for 2 hours. If you can drink, I recommend getting the all-you-can-drink option. It was a delightful experience. Thank you for the meal.
