When I went to Kansai, I entered a yakiniku restaurant located just 30 seconds from Abiko Station on the Metro Midosuji Line. The restaurant is easily visible from the subway exit, making it a great location. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you'll see a showcase of meat chunks that will get you excited! The atmosphere is welcoming and suitable for families or groups of friends, with counter seats, table seats, and tatami mats to choose from. I sat at the counter, enjoyed a beer, and got recommendations from the staff on which meat to order. If you're with a small group, I highly recommend this seat! Osaka locals are really good at chatting, which adds to the dining experience. One of the highlights was the 5 kinds of meat platter, a great value menu for two or more people. The quality of the meat was outstanding, with a great shine. The thick-cut salted tongue was particularly memorable, with a crispy exterior and juicy interior when grilled. The special Hiuchi meat was also delicious, with a perfect balance of lean and marbled meat. The unique sauce added to the flavor of the meat. Even as someone who doesn't usually enjoy vegetables, I found the Oneko Salad to be delicious, with plenty of green onions, roast beef, and tomatoes in a tasty dressing. Overall, it was a satisfying dinner with great service and atmosphere. The high-quality, flavorful meats make me want to come back for more! Thank you for the meal!

Budget around 5000 yen, a popular yakiniku restaurant in Abiko, Suminoe with a focus on high-quality meat called Itto, which is a sister store of Tenkachaya. As soon as you enter the restaurant, there is a showcase with what looks like high-quality pieces of meat lined up, raising expectations from the start. The recommended "Ikko Mori" is 20% off with the official app download, so I ordered the Ikko Mori and Harami separately. The Ikko Mori on this day included a selection of 5 kinds of Sendai beef, roast beef, and sausages. The roast beef had a good amount of marbling and tasty seasoning, making for a strong start. Then came the Ikko Mori, which had a dazzling shine to the meat. The combination of the marbling of the loin, hich, and misuji, along with the explosive umami of the outer and inner hira, was outstanding. Finally, I ordered the upper harami separately. Despite the thickness of each slice, they were very tender with excellent meatiness. Overall, it was a highly satisfying yakiniku restaurant experience.

In August of the second year of Reiwa, I had the lunch special at Ikko Ramen, which included ramen and a mini roast beef bowl for 1000 yen. The ramen at Ikko Ramen wasn't bad, but it didn't quite match my personal taste, making the overall lunch set feel a bit underwhelming considering the price.

I visited a yakiniku restaurant called "Itamae Yakiniku Ichiko" in Sumiyoshi-ku, Osaka City. I was craving for meat since morning, so I decided to have meat for lunch and ended up in Abiko. Abiko is surprisingly known for having many yakiniku restaurants, so I thought it would be a good place to have meat. This time, without relying on online ratings, I went around the Abiko area to check out yakiniku restaurants that offer lunch menus. I came across this restaurant, "Itamae Yakiniku Ichiko," which had a ramen set that looked very delicious and seemed like a good deal, so I decided to give it a try. The restaurant was spacious as it was previously a FamilyMart store. I visited during lunchtime on a holiday, and the place was about half full. Upon entering, there was a hand sanitizer at the entrance, so I sanitized my hands and took a seat at the counter. In the back, there was a lively group having a party, creating a festive atmosphere. Apart from the lunch set menu, you could also order yakiniku dishes individually. However, I was drawn to the ramen set that included beef tendon in the ramen and roast beef bowl, so I ordered the "Ichiko Ramen Set" for 1000 yen. The restaurant was filled with the savory aroma of yakiniku being grilled by the lively group, making my stomach growl in hunger. The ramen set was served in about 5 minutes. It was a ramen made with cold noodles, topped with vegetables like watercress, sliced onions, daikon radish, shiitake mushrooms, carrots, and beef tendon. The clear soup was extremely light but had a subtle umami flavor from the beef tendon, which was quite delightful. I sprinkled some pepper and sesame on top, and it tasted delicious. The smooth noodles slid down my throat quickly, satisfying my hunger. The beef tendon was of A5 grade quality, and it added a gentle richness to the dish. The roast beef bowl had three slices of delicious lean meat, which was cooked sous vide, making it tender and juicy. The slightly overpowering sweet eel sauce on the roast beef was the only downside, as it masked the flavor of the meat a bit. Overall, the ramen set with plenty of A5 beef tendon and juicy roast beef at 1000 yen was a great deal. After finishing my meal, I checked the restaurant's ratings on a search site and compared them to other yakiniku restaurants in the area. Surprisingly, this restaurant had lower ratings, which was opposite to my evaluation. I visited a couple of other yakiniku restaurants in the area, but I still think this restaurant excelled in terms of service, atmosphere, and taste. I visited this restaurant during my business trip to Osaka. It is located very close to Abiko Station. The big lanterns outside the restaurant make it easy to spot, and you can feel the lively atmosphere even from outside. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you'll see a showcase of meat, which is quite impressive, although they mentioned that they had limited meat available that day. In addition to regular table seating, there are also tatami rooms, which are great for families with small children. I saw a couple enjoying wine at the bright red counter chairs while eating yakiniku, and they seemed to be having a great time. I started with a highball with Hakushu whiskey, and the complimentary dish was simmered beef tongue. The slightly sweet beef tongue paired well with the spicy Hakushu highball, providing a refreshing taste. The sauce provided for dipping the meat was very flavorful, with sliced green onions floating in it, offering a perfect balance of sweetness. I was looking forward to the yakiniku even more after this. I ordered thick-cut beef tongue, which was cut finely with a knife and was incredibly tender and delicious. The thick-cut pumpkin served with it was also cooked to perfection, making it a delightful side dish. The meat with a good amount of fat was best enjoyed by cooking it on one side only, allowing the fat to render and give a nice shine. The special Uchihira was a lean cut with a clean and juicy flavor. The beautiful marbling was appealing, but the lean meat was also delicious. However, when it comes to horumon (offal), it's a different story. The fresh maruchou was mixed well with the sauce and cooked to perfection. The shiny and tender fat, along with the sweet flavor, paired perfectly with the slightly spicy sauce. The stone pot bibimbap was available in a half-size portion, which I thoroughly enjoyed! The meat that was cut after I placed my order had a different color and shine, showing the freshness. This restaurant allows you to cook the meat yourself on a roaster, so be careful not to overcook it due to the high freshness of the meat.

As soon as I left the station, I saw a large, popular restaurant with a meat showcase right in front of the entrance. Since I was alone this time, I decided to sit at the counter. The friendly manager recommended various dishes and mentioned they offer half sizes, which was perfect as I could try a variety of things. The appetizer was a delicately seasoned beef dish, followed by a set of roast beef which was absolutely delicious. The Amakusa chicken was crispy and refreshing. The pickled white cabbage kimchi was not too sweet and served as a nice palate cleanser. The juicy salted tongue was thinly sliced and flavorful. The main dish was a set of five different cuts of meat, including rare meat, each with its own unique flavor. The manager kindly explained how to enjoy each dish. I ended up following his recommendations and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Despite the casual appearance of the restaurant, the quality of the food was top-notch. I left feeling satisfied and happy.

What is "Itamae Yakiniku": It's a serving method where the meat is cut right in front of you after ordering, showcasing the freshness of the meat. This can only be done confidently by those who are confident in the quality of their meat. I visited the sister store of the famous "Itamae Yakiniku Itto," called "Itamae Yakiniku Ikko Abiko Store." The spacious and relaxed restaurant has 77 seats, with table seating and a gas fire with a thick iron plate for grilling. First up, a draft beer for a toast at 480 yen! Followed by a Namul platter for 650 yen and a Kimchi platter for 650 yen. A must-try is the premium wagyu beef tasting platter, "Ikko Platter of the Day" for 5,980 yen. The platter includes the following wagyu beef: Top Loin, Geta Galbi, Marukawa, Hane Shita, and Kagoshima Beef Harami. Each cut has its own unique flavor and texture, making it a delicious experience. After grilling to perfection, it's time to dig in! I found a great drink here - a Highball for 430 yen. Perfect for enjoying with the meat! I went to eat at the sister store of the famous yakiniku restaurant "Itamae Yakiniku Itto" called "Itamae Yakiniku Ittoko Abiko Store" located in Suminoe, with its main store in Abiko. The restaurant is just a one-minute walk from the south exit of Abiko Station on the Midosuji Subway Line, along Abiko-suji. As soon as you enter, you are greeted by a showcase displaying various cuts of meat, which is a characteristic feature of Itamae Yakiniku. The menu is exciting to look at, and the gas roaster with upper ventilation fan adds to the experience. The yakiniku sauce is on the lighter side and there is a variety of namul and kimchi to enjoy before the meat. I tried both thick and thin cuts of salted tongue, which were both delicious. The Ittoko salad made with green onions, sliced roast beef, tomatoes, and brown rice flakes was a perfect interlude. I ordered the Ittoko platter, which included top-quality cuts like special roast, Geta Kalbi, rare Marukawa, Hane Shita, and Kagoshima beef Harami, along with roast beef and Oyama Jidori chicken, all for a great price. The roast beef with marbled fat was delicious, especially when wrapped in green onions. The top-quality roast was incredibly tender and flavorful, paired perfectly with "Jin and meat." The Kagoshima beef Harami was outstanding, and the Geta Kalbi, Hane Shita, and Marukawa were equally impressive. I visited this restaurant for a quick day trip to Osaka for work, and before heading back to Tokyo, I had a farewell party with my colleagues here. I had been to another Ikko restaurant before and it was delicious, so I decided to visit this one nearby. It's conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from Abiko Station on the metro. It's a standalone restaurant with a full glass entrance, different from the Chitose store. Since there were two of us, we were seated at the counter. We started with a toast with a 400 yen glass of white wine, which was easy to drink and a good value. The appetizer was grilled pork intestines for 250 yen, a unique texture that I had never experienced before in Osaka. It was mild in flavor but rich and creamy. Next, we had a kimchi assortment for 650 yen, with a Kansai-style pickling method that was delicious. The Oi kimchi was especially refreshing and could be eaten like a salad. We also tried the Ikko salad for 780 yen, a luxurious salad made with roast beef slices and sesame dressing. Instead of croutons, they used whole wheat flakes, which was a nice touch. We could see the kitchen preparing the meat we ordered, adding to the experience of sitting at the counter. We tried the thin-sliced tongue for 1480 yen and the thick-sliced tongue for 1480 yen, both delicious and cooked perfectly. The thin slices had a rich flavor, while the thick slices were juicy and flavorful. We also ordered the Iberico pork for 880 yen, which had a unique nutty flavor. Tonight, it's time for the usual meat time with friends. We're going to grill some meat again. When it comes to meat, we need a meat-specialty sour, so let's cheers with a Gintonic. Sprinkle as much black pepper as you like. The appetizer is grilled giblets. It's sweetly seasoned just the way I like it. I could eat as many bowls as I want when it's on top of hot rice. First, a kimchi assortment before the meat. And a green onion salad to get some veggies in. They have a set that includes selected cuts for the day, but you can also order individual items in half sizes (at half the price on the menu). So, we decided to order what we wanted to eat. First up, thick-cut salted tongue!! Are you a thin-slice or thick-cut tongue person? I'm a thick-cut fan♪ Cook it slowly. The crispy texture of the tongue is irresistible. Next, marushin and top harami. The harami here is incredibly delicious. The dipping sauce is a fruit sauce, which is just perfect. And I've come to like horumon more recently. There was a 30% off trial price for a half portion of the three types of horumon, so I couldn't resist ordering it. Tsurami, red liver, and heart. They were all delicious, but I especially liked the heart. The red meat and horumon, all have a beautiful color and taste great. I was always curious when passing by, so I decided to visit. There is no parking lot, so I parked at a nearby parking area. I didn't have a reservation, so I had to wait a bit, but when I was seated, the table setting was perfect! It seems like many people make reservations before coming. I noticed that the course menu requires a reservation for 4 people or more the day before. There are counter seats, table seats, and sunken kotatsu seats, with the kitchen at the center of the restaurant, so you can see the cooking process. This must be what they mean by teppanyaki. Personally, I feel reassured seeing the kitchen. The interior is mainly red and black, giving a cool and luxurious atmosphere! The appetizer was 270 yen, not available for children, and today it was enoki mushrooms and corn! Special thick-cut salted tongue for 1,599 yen, top harami for 1,275 yen, top kalbi for 1,167 yen, egg soup for 411 yen, large rice for 324 yen, Chinese cabbage kimchi for 324 yen, top marbled beef for 843 yen, and top loin for 1,599 yen. All the meats were thick-cut and had a great texture! The top loin was especially amazing, with rich marbling and sweet fat that melted in my mouth! And above all, the rice was outstanding! It had the perfect firmness to soak up the sauce from the meat. The rice paired perfectly with the grilled meat! I couldn't help but have seconds of rice! The portion sizes were decent, and the staff's response was great, providing friendly service. The customers ranged from young to elderly, showing a wide range of age groups. It's no wonder this is a sister restaurant of the famous Itto. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

A high-end yakiniku restaurant where each person costs over 6000 yen! The all-you-can-eat yakiniku here is on a completely different level and incredibly delicious. It's like the meat just melts in your mouth. This place can even fulfill the wish of someone without teeth who still wants to eat meat. Amazing!
