On the way to the Cup Noodles Museum, we came across Ikeda Tourist Information Center, which turned out to be a café selling food and drinks. I had Sakura River Cider, my husband had homemade Ginger Ale, and we also ordered Chicken Ramen-coated fried chicken. The crispy texture of the Chicken Ramen was delicious and interesting.

At the entrance to the road leading from Ikeda Station to the Cup Noodle Museum, there is a place called "Chikichiki Tanken-tai Ikeda Tourist Information Center." They sell Chicken Ramen-related products there. In front of the store, there are parked a Daihatsu Midget and a three-wheeled truck. They have Chicken Ramen-flavored items such as fried chicken, croquettes, and soft-serve ice cream. I decided to try the "Ikemara" for 450 yen. It came in a cup with pieces of fried chicken inside. The fried chicken was made by crushing Chicken Ramen and coating it before frying. It had a crunchy texture similar to Baby Star Ramen. The meat used was chicken breast. It was interesting to taste the crispy Chicken Ramen.

It was the beginning of the tour to Ikeda and Minoh with lovely-san °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°. Lovely-san kindly came to pick me up at the ticket gate of Hankyu Ikeda Station. It was so nice to see you again! Thank you for picking me up. The other members had started with a delicious soba lunch. We headed to a place to meet up with them, which was the "Ikeda City Tourist Information Center Chikichiki Antenna Shop." I remembered seeing a review of the Chikichiki Soft serve that nyun-san had eaten here before, and I really wanted to try it. So, I bought the Chikichiki Soft serve for ¥400. I also found the Chikichiki Character for ¥120 by the register. The Chikichiki Soft serve had vanilla ice cream with burnt caramel and crushed chicken ramen on top. It looked interesting and tasted great! The sweet vanilla ice cream with the flavor of burnt caramel and the salty chicken ramen was a unique combination. The Chikichiki Character was like a Western-style confectionery with the taste of chicken ramen. It was a special local gourmet experience that you can only have here. After that, we had a lively time at a meat shop in the shopping street, and then lovely-san treated us to homemade fruit liquor in a beautiful setting for a toast. We even received souvenirs from Kyushu. Thank you so much, lovely-san, for your kindness!

After visiting the Cup Noodle Museum, I was curious about the dish at the nearby Ikeda Tourist Information Center that was an arrangement of Chicken Ramen. I decided to stop by and purchased the Premium Chicken Ramen and Ikedara. The Premium Chicken Ramen had a rich chicken flavor as chicken broth was added to the ramen, making it very delicious. The Ikedara had a crispy coating made with Chicken Ramen, which provided a good texture and taste.

Well, now that we've coated our stomachs with soba, let's head to the Ikeda tourist information center for our meetup. Despite the pouring rain, we managed to meet up with the two rain witches without any issues. Everyone had already bought their drinks and snacks, so we had a little strategy meeting. I tried the "Ikeda Kara," which is fried chicken coated in chicken ramen, and it was surprisingly delicious! However, I also tried the "Chiki Chiki Soft," which was soft serve ice cream coated in chicken ramen, and I couldn't quite understand the reasoning behind it. Overall, the staff were very friendly and the overall rating of the store was good. Next stop, maybe some sweets shopping. Thank you for the meal!

I had almost forgotten about the "Arularu Expedition Team" (^o^;) I remembered it now after giving it a title. On a rainy morning, I was picked up at Ikeda Station (^ー^) for my sake as I am directionally challenged (^人^) First stop was an antenna shop, and I was clueless about it. What's that all about? Oh, this is it! "Chikichiki Expedition Team Antenna Shop Ikeda" is actually a tourist information center! There was a nostalgic three-wheeled auto rickshaw in front of the shop! I went inside and found lots of souvenirs like Chikin Ramen's little chick. I chose the "Ikeda Karaage" which had crushed Chikin Ramen in the batter, and surprisingly, they only had highball for alcohol... I got a paper cup and had a little drink. Beer was saved for the next stop ♡ I shared the Ikeda Karaage as it can be heavy to eat alone. The Karaage with Chikin Ramen flavor is a good match with the highball♪ They also had a Chikichiki Soft Serve with Chikin Ramen sprinkles, which seemed interesting. I'm sure it's a sweet and salty soft serve (^ー^) I took a photo of the members who bought it today! ← Someone should recognize them (*´▽`) It's a fun place from the first stop, my excitement is up (*´▽`) Thank you for the meal.

From Hankyu Ikeda Station, it's good to find a place nearby. It's just a short walk away! This place was recently featured on a TV show, "Imachan no Jitsu wa," where the Savannah comedians came and exaggerated their reactions. When I mentioned this to the staff at the restaurant, they also had great reactions, just like on TV. I ordered the Chiki Chiki Soft for 400 yen (tax included). I thought it was just chicken ramen on top, but it was surprisingly delicious with the caramel sauce that was slightly burnt. The chicken ramen tends to spill down as you eat, which might be better without it, but that's just my opinion! There is a simple dining area inside the restaurant where I ate, and the staff's response was amazing. When the soft serve cone started melting, they quickly came over with tissues and even wiped the floor. Sorry for the trouble! Ikeda is a great place! The soft serve ice cream was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Due to the influence of the morning drama "Manpuku," Ikeda is very lively and has turned into a tourist information center for Ikeda City. After visiting the Cup Noodle Factory with my niece in the summer of 2017, I went back to make Chicken Ramen and My Cup Noodle with my nephew, niece, and sister this time. On the way back, we found something interesting - the Chiki Chiki Soft Serve! It costs 350 yen and consists of sweet soft serve ice cream topped with salted caramel and crushed Chicken Ramen. The soft serve ice cream had a firm texture and the salted caramel complemented it perfectly, while the crunch of the Chicken Ramen added a nice touch. The saltiness was just right! It was delicious! Since we had just finished lunch, we only had the soft serve ice cream. *Special appearance by the Wombat at the Gogayama Zoo we visited on the way back. In front of the Cup Noodle Factory, there was also the residence of Momofuku Ando.

Located in the northwest part of Osaka Prefecture, bordering Hyogo Prefecture, Ikeda City is known for its mascot character, the Wombat, which is native only to Australia. The city is home to the Mayuzan Zoo, where 5 out of the 7 Wombats in Japan are housed. Additionally, Ikeda City is where the world's first instant ramen, Chicken Ramen, was invented by Momofuku Ando, the founder of Nissin Foods. In 1999, the Cup Noodles Museum (Momofuku Ando Instant Ramen Museum) was established in Ikeda City. The city's tourist information center was recently renovated and reopened as the "Chikichiki Expedition Team Antenna Shop" on June 28, 2018. Here, visitors can enjoy Wombat-related products and creative dishes made with Chicken Ramen. The shop is conveniently located just a minute's walk from Ikeda Station on the Hankyu Takarazuka Line.

Today's lunch was "Premium Chicken Ramen" at the Ikeda Tourist Information Center in Ikeda City, Osaka Prefecture. It is located near Hankyu Ikeda Station, just a 1-minute walk away. This place offers souvenirs related to the local specialty, "Wombat," as well as creative menu items featuring Chicken Ramen. I have always been curious about the "Premium Chicken Ramen" here, so I decided to try it out. I ordered the "Premium Chicken Ramen" and waited for 3 minutes, as indicated by a sand timer. When the time was up, I received my bowl of ramen. The soup had a premium taste, but the toppings like leeks, nori, and spices were nothing special. Overall, it was a bit underwhelming for the price of 300 yen. I finished the meal, but I couldn't help but feel that adding a raw egg at home might have made it better.

At the Cup Noodle Museum, I created my original cup noodle and then headed towards a dumpling restaurant near Ikeda Station. On the way, I stumbled upon a cute little shop called "Chikichiki Exploration Team Antenna Shop." It turned out to be a tourist information center for Ikeda. Since the dumpling restaurant didn't open until 11:00 and it was still a little before 10:30, I decided to stop by the Ikeda tourist information center. Inside the shop, they had various Ikeda goods and snacks, including Fukumaru-kun merchandise. I decided to try their "Ikeda Kara" for 350 yen and a highball for 300 yen. The weather was nice, so I enjoyed my drinks on the terrace. Now, let's try the Ikeda Kara! It was chicken nuggets made with crushed Chicken Ramen as the coating. It looked quite unique. The coating was crispy, and the slightly salty flavor from the Chicken Ramen blended well with the plain chicken breast. However, it was a bit cold. If they're busy, I understand, but if there are no other customers, I wish they would say, "It'll take some time, but we'll make it fresh for you." Anyway, I managed to enjoy my meal and drinks, so it's all good. Now, let's head to the dumpling restaurant! Thank you for the meal!

Adult field trip in Ikeda and Toyonaka Part 2: After creating my own Cup Noodles at the Cup Noodles Museum, we decided to stop by a place that caught our interest. We had some time before the next destination, so we headed to a place playing local BGM featuring Fukumaru-kun and Wombat. We ordered Ikikara for 350 yen, three glasses of draft beer for 500 yen each, and a highball for 300 yen. It was still morning, but we indulged in our second round of alcohol. We enjoyed our food and drinks at the outdoor seating area in front of the shop. Ikikara is fried chicken breast coated with crushed Chicken Ramen. It was a bit greasy, but eating it outside with everyone was fun. We were also tempted by the soft serve ice cream topped with Chicken Ramen, but we decided to save it for another time.

I visited the newly renovated "Ikeda City Tourist Information Center" and had a great time! I ordered the "Premium Chicken Ramen" and the "Ikeda Soft Serve Ice Cream" for my child. The Premium Chicken Ramen, personally made by the owner, had a cute chick design on the lid and a rich, flavorful soup that I really enjoyed. I usually like the regular Chicken Ramen, but this premium version was something special. The crispy texture of the Chicken Ramen as a topping on the "Ikeda Karaage" paired perfectly with beer, making it a delightful experience. Thank you, Kazu-san, for your hospitality. I look forward to trying the "Chikibonara" next time! This was my 239th ramen of the year.

For about 5 years now, I have been seeing signs for Chicken Ramen in the Ishibashi area of Ikeda City. There are probably more than 20 of them. I recently visited one of them, and it seems like they are serving creative dishes using Chicken Ramen for town revitalization, approved by the Chicken Ramen company. Personally, I feel a bit strange because while Ishibashi is in Ikeda, the origin of Chicken Ramen is in Ikeda. However, recently even a shop near Ikeda Station has joined in. The one I tried this time was the winner of the 2012 Ikewang Grand Prix. They seem to be holding various events, so I am looking forward to what's to come. Since they are our neighbors, I want to support them. I apologize for always having reviews that are a bit unusual.

This is a tourist information center located about a 3-minute walk from Hankyu Ikeda Station, and they sell hamburgers and drinks inside the store. Among them, I purchased the "Ikeda-originated Chicken Ramen Karaage" called "Ike Kara" (450 yen) to take out. The batter is made using chicken ramen, giving it a crunchy texture and the flavor of chicken goes well with the chicken meat. It's a bit pricey at 450 yen for a pack of 5, but it seems like a good souvenir to have when visiting Ikeda.

Ikeda City is known as the birthplace of Chicken Ramen. At the tourist information center between the Cup Noodles Museum and Hankyu Ikeda Station, they sell "Ikekara," which is Chicken Ramen coated in batter. There is a small space inside and outside the store where you can eat in, but it is mainly for takeout. They mix crushed Chicken Ramen into the fried chicken batter. It costs 450 yen. It takes a little time to prepare because they coat it with batter after you order. They also offer other items like the Chikichiki Soft, which is soft serve ice cream coated with Chicken Ramen, and the Premium Chicken Ramen made by simmering chicken broth for 8 hours.
