I had some business to attend to and came to Marugame Udon in Fukuoka Momochi. I decided to have lunch at the food court and although I was tempted by ramen, I ultimately wanted to eat chicken nanban, so I chose Ikkan Restaurant. However, it's very crowded here, especially with young people during summer vacation. After finally finding a seat, the alarm went off signaling that my order was ready: 6 pieces of chicken nanban. The size was easy to eat and delicious. When I finished, I noticed the restaurant's logo on the plate and thought it was a good choice to get 6 pieces. 4 pieces might have been a bit unsatisfying. I couldn't decide where to eat at the food court in Markis, but ended up choosing Ikkyu Shokudo!! I was also indecisive about the menu, but decided on the Chicken Nanban. I went with mayo instead of tartar sauce, but four pieces seemed a bit lacking in impact. However, the large size was free (with free refills), so I guess it's not too bad.

I went to the food court during the break of the World Swimming Championships. It's always crowded with people. The hamburger set with a large serving of rice and half-price ice cream was around 1300 yen. The hamburger was very tender and small but filling. The rice was a bit dry but warm. The vegetables in the salad seemed to be kale, with a good crunch and looked healthy. The ice cream was delicious, so you should definitely try it, haha.

The main store served hot and delicious food, so it was disappointing.

This time, I ordered the Oroshi Chicken Tatsuta Don for 770 yen (tax included) at "Ikaku Shokudo," which I was trying for the first time. On the menu on the wall, it was written prominently as 700 yen, so I was surprised when I was told it was 770 yen at the cashier. However, upon closer inspection, I noticed that it was written very small as tax included 770 yen below. After paying, I was given a buzzer and waited for just under 10 minutes before the buzzer called my name. On the tray, there was the Tatsuta Don and chicken soup. The Tatsuta Don had about four pieces of fried chicken on top of rice, with grated daikon radish and sauce. It was delicious and I enjoyed it.

During Obon season, the food court at Marukizu was extremely crowded as the baseball game was about to start. I managed to secure a seat and quickly ordered a hamburger set without much time to look at the menu. When the buzzer went off and I went to pick up the order, I found two small hamburgers on a large plate. My son was disappointed as it wasn't like the picture, but he was okay with it since he could get a refill. The taste was like a ready-made sauce, so I wish I had chosen something else. We didn't order soft serve ice cream, so we didn't need the half-price voucher either.

It comes with a side of vegetable salad, soup, and a warm egg. The large portion of rice is quite filling! The main dish is two Hamburg steaks with plenty of demi-glace sauce, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. It was a satisfying Hamburg steak lunch. Momokichi's menu includes a set meal called the Hamburg steak set meal. The hamburger steak is juicy to the point where the meat juices overflow, and the demi-glace sauce is slightly sweet but delicious. It goes perfectly with the rice and is very satisfying for the stomach.

It was already past the lunch peak at around 2 p.m., and the food court was crowded with families, couples, and students. After looking around, we ended up at a teishoku restaurant operated by Ikkan Company, which has its main store in Ikegami and four branches in Fukuoka. I was feeling a little hungry, so I decided to look around the food court. I spotted Chicken Nanban, which is not something we usually have at home. I ordered the Chicken Nanban & Beef Sagari Steak One Pack Lunch for 1300 yen (excluding tax). The beef sagari was surprisingly delicious! It was tender and the sauce was dangerously tasty. The Chicken Nanban was also very tasty. I left feeling full and satisfied. However, I couldn't help but feel a bit guilty afterwards. LOL.

I tried the food court for the first time at Ikaku Shokudo, a restaurant I frequent in my neighborhood. I ordered the reliable Chicken Nanban set with 3 pieces. It was labeled as "large Chicken Nanban". When I showed my Mitsubishi credit card, I got a free drink. They also mentioned that I could get a refill of rice and pickles are self-service. They had 2 types of pickles, but I skipped them as I'm not a fan. The Chicken Nanban was not as large as expected, but the rice was decent. The miso soup was a bit disappointing. One thing that puzzled me was that I ordered the same Chicken Nanban set twice at Ikaku in Marunouchi, but sometimes it came with mentaiko on the rice and sometimes it didn't. Why is that?

The fried chicken pieces are large and satisfying to eat. I visited the main store a long time ago. I had the image of a place with generous portions. I went to a branch of Markis after a long time and ordered the 1Kaku hamburger for 880 yen. The plate came with scrambled eggs, edamame, corn, and cabbage. As for the hamburger, I saw on TV that it was overflowing with meat juices, but there was no meat juice at all... and it was a bit cold... maybe pre-made?! It was very disappointing. Even though it wasn't crowded, I wish they had served it with some warmth, especially considering the price. The miso soup also tasted like instant soup, which was disappointing. When I went to the mall with my family and had dinner at the food court before heading home, we decided to try Ikaku Shokudo. My child pointed to the Kids DX meal as their choice, so we went with that. The menu was easy to read and mostly consisted of hamburger set meals. The Kids DX meal costs 780 yen and includes a plate with hamburger, potato, shrimp fry, nuggets, and octopus-shaped sausage. It also comes with a drink and a toy. Using Anpanman-themed potato is a great touch that kids love. I thought my child might not finish the meal, but they actually ate everything. It must have been really delicious! ^^

The hamburgers here are soft and delicious!! They stamped my receipt with a half-price stamp for soft-serve ice cream, so you can enjoy it for half the price after your meal!

The fried chicken set meal costs around 1000 yen, haha. The fried chicken itself was juicy, but the rice was a bit soft... Also, I couldn't use the LINE coupon properly even though I registered it, which was disappointing.

It was surprisingly small, but the taste was delicious.
