I mistakenly missed the last train and welcomed the morning at a net cafe in Kita-Shinchi. I found a nice cafe on Tabelog and decided to visit it. The exterior was cute and inviting. When I opened the door, I saw a slim, white-haired master making coffee and toast alone. The cafe had only a counter seating area. I arrived at 8 am and there was one other customer. After serving the other customer, the master finally attended to me. I ordered the morning set for 400 yen, which included hot coffee and buttered toast. The master carefully warmed up the toaster for each order and cut a thick slice from a loaf of bread. The coffee equipment was also meticulously warmed up. The master poured a cup of coffee with great care. The signboard shaped like a violin with the name "Amadeus" at the back of the cafe was cute. The cafe played Mozart's music, creating a calming atmosphere. I forgot about the heat outside and enjoyed the relaxed and exciting waiting time. I took a sip of the coffee and it tasted heavenly. The freshly baked thick toast was crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. I couldn't help but exclaim, "Delicious!" The whole experience lasted only about 30 minutes, but it felt like a luxurious time. I felt so warm and cozy. I would love to visit this place again if I have the chance.

Opened in 1978, this long-established coffee shop in Kitashinchi plays only Mozart as BGM. The name of the shop seems to be taken from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Their morning set includes coffee and toast for 400 yen! The coffee is brewed one cup at a time using Nel Drip method. The toast is carefully prepared with the crust removed, leaving a crispy outer layer and a fluffy inside. It's so delicious that you'll want to eat it every day. Enjoying coffee and toast while listening to Mozart, what a wonderful way to start the day!

The day before, I stayed at a capsule hotel. I played a lot, drank a lot, and my stomach seems upset. Well, since I'm already here, maybe I should go somewhere for lunch?? I decided to try the highly rated Hakugin-tei. As for breakfast, I'm not sure what to do. Well, I don't really need to eat, but I might just have a light morning meal. I selected a cafe on the way from Umeda to Honmachi to have breakfast. I didn't just randomly pass by, but I looked it up on Tabelog and decided to go. It's called "Amadeo". It's a cafe located a short walk from Kita-Shinchi. It's quite small. It was a Saturday morning and quite a few people were inside, mainly regulars. A single coffee costs 350 yen. I also ordered toast for an additional 50 yen. The coffee had a slightly tangy taste, very delicious. The toast was fluffy and tasty. They serve delicious bread. The owner has a gentle demeanor. It's a nice environment to leisurely enjoy your coffee. The prices are reasonable, and it's easy to spend time here, which explains why there are many regular customers.

About a 4-minute walk from Kitashinchi Station, there is a small cafe in the Dojima area called Amadeus! I visited around 4 pm on a Saturday. The cafe has only a counter and a face-to-face counter, with a slightly nostalgic atmosphere. The pink dial phone adds to the charm. Classical music plays in the cozy interior, making it a relaxing place to spend time. The atmosphere created by the elderly master is also wonderful! Feeling a bit hungry, I ordered toast for 200 yen and a cafe au lait for 430 yen. The toast was delicious! It was thick and crunchy, allowing me to savor the flavor of the wheat. They cut off the crusts, giving it a fluffy and crispy texture. It was impressive to see the staff carefully cutting the crusts from where I was sitting. Until 11 am, you can order a set with a drink included for only 400 yen, which is amazing! You can choose from butter, jam, or marmalade. Thank you for the meal!

First, let's have a bite to eat at a cafe called "Amadeo." Their coffee is delicious, and the toast is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The atmosphere inside the cafe is great, allowing for a leisurely morning. The owner has a kind demeanor, which adds to the charm of the place. The service may not be the fastest, so if you're looking for speed, you may want to try another place!

The morning set with thick toast and coffee or tea until 11am for 400 yen is a great deal. The place was almost full around 9am on weekdays, and customers kept coming in afterwards. The owner, who was working alone, makes the coffee using a pour-over method, and prepares the toast fresh after taking orders, so there's plenty of time to enjoy. The fluffy toast is cut into three easy-to-eat pieces, and goes perfectly with the coffee. Cash only! Thank you for the meal! ◡̈⃝︎⋆︎*

I revisited on a regular morning for the 400 yen breakfast set. I chose hot coffee and marmalade toast. The toast looked beautiful as always, with a nice crispy exterior and soft interior. The high-quality coffee paired perfectly with the high-quality toast. Listening to Mozart in a relaxed atmosphere, I felt energized from the morning. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I visited this coffee shop for breakfast on a regular weekday. It is located in a business district, about a 4-minute walk from JR Kitashinchi Station. The shop doesn't have a parking lot, but it's a cozy one-person operation. I ordered the Morning Set which includes hot coffee and buttered toast for 400 yen tax included. The coffee was freshly brewed and delicious, and the buttered toast was neatly prepared. The shop has been in business for 44 years, but the interior is very clean and well-organized, creating a refreshing atmosphere. It became non-smoking 4 years ago. The background music is classical music, quietly playing from slim wall-mounted speakers of Bang & Olufsen, a stylish touch. The customers are mostly regulars, often business people stopping by before work. The coffee prices range from 380 yen per cup, which is quite affordable for this area. The owner explained that they had to raise prices due to rising ingredient costs. I hope this wonderful shop continues for a long time, providing a relaxing place for busy business people. Thank you for the meal! (^_^)

It's raining a little, so I decided to have some tea somewhere. I went to this cozy little cafe and ordered a Mocha Martini at the shiny counter. The owner, who was standing behind the counter the whole time, played classical music. It was such a pleasant atmosphere. When you come across a cafe like this, you can't help but love coffee a little more.

From this April, I changed my work location from Kobe to Osaka, which shortened my commuting time and allowed me to start work later. Thanks to this, I can sleep about 1 hour longer than before~♪ However, maybe due to my age, I still tend to wake up early haha. Since I arrived early at Osaka Station, I thought of having breakfast around Kitashinchi area. I visited "Amadeus-san," a place I had passed by hundreds of times but never entered before. The restaurant is located about a 5-minute walk west from JR Tozai Line Kitashinchi Station, although it's technically in the Dotonbori area. It's a longstanding establishment that has been open for over 40 years, with the master's favorite Mozart songs playing quietly in the background. Breakfast is available until 11 am, and you can enjoy a regular blend coffee for 350 yen or add 30 yen for a total of 380 yen, which is quite reasonable for the area. The toast for breakfast comes with a choice of butter, jam, or marmalade, and I chose jam. The elderly master skillfully flips the toast a few times until both sides are crispy. The toast has a crunchy texture on the outside, a soft and chewy inside, and a generous amount of butter with just the right sweetness from the jam. The drink of the month was Colombian coffee, freshly ground and meticulously brewed by the master. It had a fruity flavor, mild acidity, and a rich taste. I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious breakfast at this historic restaurant. I hope the master stays healthy and keeps making this amazing toast. (The atmosphere of the restaurant is quiet and pleasant, but I rated it 2.8. The reason is explained in the comments section.)

A few years ago, I got hooked on morning sets and visited numerous cafes and coffee shops for breakfast. I must have been to dozens of places, but the best toast I ever had was at Amadeus. They cut off the crusts, toast both sides until they're crispy. The moment you bite into it, you get a satisfying crunch, followed by a buttery taste that melts in your mouth. The surface is crispy, but the inside is soft and chewy. I wonder how they manage to make it so delicious. I'd love to ask the master one day. The master is a slim elderly gentleman who loves Mozart. The shop always plays Mozart's music, and I believe the name "Amadeus" is inspired by that. The shop has been open for about 40 years. The master is still healthy, but quite old, so I hope the shop continues for as long as possible. If I think about not being able to eat this toast anymore, I want to keep coming here as much as I can. Of course, the coffee is also delicious. They grind the beans after you order and brew it carefully. This is my favorite morning spot.

A cozy café playing classical music. Enjoy a crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside toast with a perfect balance of bread's sweetness and coffee's bitterness for only ¥400. It's surprising to be able to taste coffee and toast at this price in this era.

I went to Umeda in Osaka for a meeting, which I was a bit nervous about since I'm not used to it. But I arrived early, with 30 minutes to spare. The ice coffee was delicious and perfect for this season. Even though I had breakfast earlier, I couldn't resist ordering the morning set with toast for an extra 30 yen. The toast was fluffy and tasty. The cafe is tucked away in a corner of the city but the food was great. It was a satisfying meal.

A coffee specialty shop in Kitashinchi. Visited for lunch on a weekday. Located on a side street just off the main road. The master has a gentle demeanor and calm demeanor. In addition to the regular menu, they offer a special coffee of the month. Guatemala Organic Coffee (400 yen) made from beans from the Buenos Aires Las Marias farm. JAS organic certified, OCIA, NOP certified. Rich aroma that is hard to find in coffee chain stores. Smooth mouthfeel. Strong acidity, rich flavor, and sweetness. This was a really good coffee. 400 yen seems too cheap... A traditional coffee shop where smoking is allowed throughout.

Located on the outskirts of Mebe, at the end of a street, is a simple yet classic coffee shop. The eye-catching sign of Mrs. Gold Shadow stands out. The interior is adorned with Mozart and Western antiques, exuding an air of elegance. Despite its lack of flashiness, there is a refined atmosphere. A white-haired gentleman with armrests at the counter radiates a royal aura, creating a world of tranquility that is unique to this place. On this day, I chose the blend coffee. The pour-over coffee was meticulously prepared. The transparent white cup was a perfect match. It was a classic coffee shop in Doshima that has been beloved for a long time.
