I was curious about this restaurant from its name. Since there were few comments on Tabelog, I was excited to visit and see what kind of place it was. Inside, there were counter seats, table seats, and tatami seats in the back. The atmosphere was filled with regular customers, and there were many bottles of shochu lined up. I started with the recommended sashimi assortment and beef tataki. They were fresh and delicious, with a good amount of fat. What's more, the prices were quite reasonable. The bottle keep service was also affordable. The staff were friendly and the restaurant felt cozy and welcoming. I kept a bottle, so I will definitely visit again soon. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I was curious because I saw in a local gourmet magazine that the food at this restaurant was delicious. My family and I visited at the end of last year. The building had been demolished for road expansion, so the area was newly leveled. We arrived at the restaurant while checking on the food navigation app. We didn't have a reservation and the staff seemed surprised. They asked us to wait for a bit and eventually led us to a table with tatami flooring. The place was fully booked, and it seemed like everyone else had made reservations. We were grateful to be seated. We could choose our own drinks, and the draft beer for 300 yen was amazing. The standout dish was the seaweed vinegar with three cups. The sashimi platter was a specialty, with sasae, salmon, swordfish, squid, and surprisingly, tataki. It was enough for three people. There were also tomatoes, cucumbers, and shredded cabbage. The tataki of black beef was tender and delicious. The warm ponzu sauce with shirako was a perfect match. The steamed sake clams were large and tasty. The restaurant is known for its soba noodles made by a skilled craftsman, but we were told it would take a while, so we decided to pass this time. It's a great restaurant loved by locals.

The entrance area has been slightly renovated and the restaurant is energetically open for business. The layout inside the shop remains mostly the same as before. In addition to delicious dishes, the cost performance is still great. Be amazed by the price of their shochu keep and the value for money of their sashimi platter. The soba noodles at the end were also excellent. By the way, there is a limit to the quantity of soba noodles that can be served in a day, so it is recommended to make a reservation when placing your initial order. I'm glad that my favorite spot in Roppongi Matsubara has not disappeared. I will definitely visit again.

"Jajama" is a shop located about 50m from Ropponmatsu towards Yakuin direction. The cost performance of this shop is amazing. Not only is it cheap, but the handmade taste is also excellent. The hospitality of the owner is very good, and the wine selection is also wonderful. Upon entering the shop, you are greeted by the owner. There is a fish tank at the entrance. You take off your shoes and enter. The kitchen is on the left, there are table seats for about 15 people in the front, and there is a raised seating area in the back. The atmosphere is very calming. I ordered a variety of dishes including sashimi platter, grilled nodoguro, grilled chicken, butter-grilled asparagus, and potato salad. The appetizer, sweet simmered saury, was delicious. The homemade potato salad was also impressive. I enjoyed a glass of wine recommended by the owner, and it was excellent. The sashimi platter was a great deal with a variety of fresh fish. The grilled chicken and butter-grilled asparagus were also delicious. The highlight was the grilled nodoguro, which was flavorful and perfectly cooked. Overall, it was a fantastic experience at this casual dining restaurant. I will definitely visit again.

Let's start with a toast with beer. We had a sashimi platter and shrimp. The sashimi platter included horse meat, whale, octopus, squid, bonito, and yellowtail. The shrimp was fresh and had a nice crunch to it, and the squid was surprisingly delicious with a sweet flavor. We also had bitter melon kimchi stir-fry and leek and egg stir-fry. The bitter melon had a good crunch and bitterness to it. We tried Japanese-style dumplings and tomato salad. We also had braised pork and tempura chicken tail. The chicken tail was light and delicious, perfect with beer. We switched from beer to sake. Among the sake we tried, Kubota Senju was the best. It was dry with a sharp finish, but Kubota had a slight sweetness that added to its flavor. For dessert, we had a salmon roe bowl. It was more filling than it looked and was reasonably priced. The sashimi was delicious, so I recommend trying their seafood dishes.

Monday, August 15th, around 6:30 PM - The variety of draft beer is amazing, and the shochu selection is also extensive and affordable. The quality and price of the fish dishes and Chinese cuisine are outstanding. I never expected to be so satisfied with a meal in Fukuoka after being taken to this place by my aunt. I had been looking for this kind of izakaya, so my satisfaction level is extremely high.

The atmosphere in Rokumonmatsu is quite filling even if you eat a lot. As soon as you enter the restaurant, there is a fish tank, giving a feeling like "Tonight, I'll have you♪" and you sit at a raised seating area. The sashimi is delicious. The first time we went, there were three of us, but the next time we went with a completely different group of six people, and they remembered us, which was nice! Even though the restaurant is quite busy, it's reassuring that they pay attention to us. You can easily become friendly with the staff, and even sitting alone at the counter is fine. The service is friendly and the staff is attentive. They have a clever way of talking and we end up ordering more than we need. As soon as we sit down, they ask if we want some raw kawahagi, which is ordered as soon as we sit down. They also inform us when our bottle of shochu is running low and offer to keep it topped up. This is a unique atmosphere in Rokumonmatsu, different from the bustling city feel of Tenjin and Nakasu. The restaurant is small, but it seems like they can accommodate up to 20 people for a party. It's a good place for everyday use.
