Camembert & Gouda Cheese Bread for 173 yen is my favorite bread at Hankyu Bakery!! It's cheap yet big and has a good chewiness. I feel like I buy this every time I go to Hankyu Bakery. Just eating one of these fills me up quite a bit!! Personally, I think the texture of this bread is just right!

MaxValu Hakozaki Miyamae store has a 100 yen bread section called Hankyu Bakery. This store is located inside MaxValu and operates 24 hours a day. When I visited in the early morning around 7 o'clock, the store was already filled with popular bread. On that day, I chose four different types of bread, all priced at 100 yen each. Tenderly Cheese: Soft dough with small chunks of cheese baked inside. Fluffy Spicy Cod Roe Roll: Fluffy bread with spicy cod roe mixed in, topped with cheese. Raisin Custard: Danish pastry with raisins and custard cream baked inside. Red Bean Bun: A classic snack bread filled with plenty of red bean paste. I happened to have some business at the MaxValu ATM in Hakozaki during my lunch break, so I decided to stop by this shop next door for takeout. It was my first time visiting, and I was surprised to find a variety of items, all priced at 108 yen including tax. There were a few other customers browsing, all women. The bread selection seemed to lean towards sweet options. I purchased a Cheese Focaccia, Apple Tart, and Tuna Cheese French. The Cheese Focaccia was a huge size, similar to my mini iPad. It had a simple flavor but was satisfying to eat. The Apple Tart was a light and flaky pastry with a sweet filling, more suited for women. The Tuna Cheese French was a firm French bread with melted cheese and tuna flakes inside. While not overly fancy, for the price, it was a good variety to enjoy. If you have business in this area and want a quick and affordable meal, this place will surely come in handy!

Located inside MaxValu supermarket next to Gokuraku Shrine along National Route 3, I visited this bakery in the morning around 8 o'clock and found over 20 types of bread. I bought sausage bread, curry bread, cream bread, and more. It seems like the selection here is different from the Hankyu Bakery in Kurosaki. The bread here is mostly of the soft type. The prices are reasonable and the long opening hours are convenient. I also recently visited the Kurosaki branch, where they had some items not available here, and vice versa. Thank you for the meal.
