Alde Shin-Osaka! It was around 7pm on a holiday in Kyoto, so there was a wait at every store, but we were able to get in quickly here. We ordered the beef loin and bonito cutlet set meal, as well as the domestic black wagyu top sirloin cutlet set meal. The dishes came out quickly, you can tell they have a fast turnover! In Hokkaido, there is no beef cutlet so it was fresh for us. The loin was light and delicious, maybe even lighter than tonkatsu. I preferred the slightly rich red meat of the top black wagyu, it was my favorite. Overall, it was very reasonably priced!

Kachigyu in the ARDE building at Shin-Osaka Station was bustling with foreign tourists around 8 pm. I visited using a national travel support coupon. I had the Beef Sirloin Cutlet and Beef Loin Cutlet Set for 1925 yen, which came with Kyoto grated yam. Rice, miso soup, and cabbage were free for refills with LINE registration. You can enjoy various flavors like dashi soy sauce, sansho salt, sauce, curry sauce, and wasabi. Thank you for the meal.

I wanted to go out for drinks, but since it was a busy night, we couldn't get into any places with a large group (6 people). We ended up finding a place where we could order one item each, so I ordered rice and no miso soup as a side dish. The tonkatsu was delicious no matter when you ate it. It would have been even better if we could all order individual dishes for drinking.

Basic beef sirloin cutlet set meal, regular, for 1749 yen is very delicious. It is lighter and easier to eat compared to pork cutlet. I chose a restaurant without a long line due to time constraints, but sometimes there was a line. The only downside is that the staff's handling of customers in the dining area is not very efficient.

I entered a less crowded restaurant because all the surrounding shops were busy. I tried the beef sirloin cutlet set for 1790 yen, which had four different ways to eat it. The dipping sauce had a unique flavor that I had never experienced before, and I really liked it. The curry flavor, however, didn't highlight the goodness of the beef, so I didn't enjoy it as much. The meat was very tender and delicious, but there were many tendons, and I couldn't swallow about four pieces. The cost performance is a bit high, so I think it's better to go when it's not too busy.

During the time of Corona, the restaurant was empty. Recently, there have been more tourists, so I thought I might have to wait around 1 PM, but I was able to enter without waiting. I ordered the lunch menu's beef sirloin cutlet set. The curry sauce was enjoyable and made me feel like I got a good deal. However, the sauce was a bit lacking in flavor. Unfortunately, the meat itself had some sinew.

I decided to have dinner in Shin-Osaka and ended up at Kyoto Katsugyu. It was quite crowded during dinner time, but I was seated without much of a wait. They offer set meals with rice, making it easy for solo diners. You can choose your preferred cut of beef, and the "mixed cut meal" where you can try 2 or more cuts is popular. I like lean cuts, so I couldn't decide between the traditional beef loin or the tenderloin. In the end, I chose the mixed plate with loin and tenderloin, served with a half-cooked egg in dashi broth called the "Kyoto Tamago Meal." However, due to the high price of eggs, they were out of stock and replaced the egg with curry sauce. The beef cutlets here have a fine, thin crust that seals in the juices, creating a crispy texture. The meat inside is cooked medium-rare, thinly sliced for easy eating, and not greasy. You can taste the unique umami of beef. They provide condiments like dashi soy sauce, sansho pepper salt, and beef cutlet sauce, along with the curry sauce for dipping, allowing you to enjoy various flavors. I tried all the condiments while eating, but I personally prefer the sansho pepper salt and dashi soy sauce. Adding wasabi enhances the flavor even more. The ponzu sauce with grated daikon is also refreshing and delicious. They also offer beef cutlet bowls with different sauces, perfect for a hearty meal. They have takeout options as well, so grabbing some to enjoy on the Shinkansen train ride could be a good idea.

At Arde Shin-Osaka in Shin-Osaka Station, there is a beef cutlet restaurant. I thought it was my first time here, but it turns out I came 1.5 years ago. My memory is amazing. This time, I ordered the "Gyu-Sirloin Cutlet and Menchi Cutlet Kyoto Tamazen for 1,419 yen including tax." The taste was great, and there are various seasonings and sauces available, so it never gets boring. The Menchi Cutlet oozes with juicy flavor and is delicious. It's a bit pricey for a salaryman's lunch, but it's so tasty that I want to come back again.

I was working hard and had no energy to cook dinner late at night. I decided to eat out and headed to Shin-Osaka Station. However, most of the restaurants were already closing. Finally, I found a place that was still open, called Gyukatsu Kyoto Katsugyu. They offer various types of beef cutlets, including sirloin, fillet, loin, and tongue. I decided to try the sirloin and the seasonal limited dish, Buri Katsu (yellowtail cutlet). The sirloin was thinly sliced and cooked rare, offering a unique texture and flavor experience. The Buri Katsu was juicy and tender, not overcooked. They also provided different sauces to try with the cutlets. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. If you become a LINE friend, you can get free refills of rice, cabbage, and red miso soup. Great service and delicious food. Thank you, Gyukatsu Kyoto Katsugyu!

"I met 'Kyoto Katsugyu' for the first time, a specialty store for beef cutlets. It seems that the company operating it, GOLIP Co., Ltd., based in Kyoto, has several branches from Sendai in the north to Fukuoka in the south, as well as overseas. They have multiple brands focusing on beef and pork. I would love to try a variety of their dishes if I have the chance. On this day, we were planning to have dinner near Shin-Osaka before heading back, so we arrived at 'Arde Shin-Osaka' on the 2nd floor of Shin-Osaka Station. Every store had a line of customers. After wandering around, we found 'Kyoto Katsugyu' and decided to try it as it looked delicious. There were about 4 groups of customers waiting ahead of us. We ordered the limited-time menu, which was a set of beef sirloin cutlet and large shrimp cutlet, as well as an extra order of sirloin cutlet to share. We were seated at the counter, although we preferred a table. The dishes were served after a while! They looked so delicious. The large shrimp came in two pieces, and the medium rare pink beef cutlet looked appetizing. We had wasabi soy sauce, sansho pepper salt, and beef cutlet sauce on the side, along with curry dipping sauce. The large shrimp cutlet came with 'Kyoto shiba-zuke tartar.' It was a mixture of tartar sauce and pickled vegetables, giving it a pink color and an interesting texture. This tartar sauce also went well with the beef cutlet. We enjoyed trying different sauces with each bite. We shared the extra sirloin cutlet and finished everything. It was a delicious meal. Thank you for the feast."

Is there a culture of beef cutlets in Kansai? I had never eaten it before, so I entered this shop in Shin-Osaka. For lunch, they had a set menu of beef cutlet and minced cutlet, so I ordered that. It came with eggs and cost 1419 yen. It came with a lot of condiments. Even though there were so many, there wasn't much beef cutlet, so I ate each piece carefully. The beef loin cutlet set! There were so many condiments to choose from for the loin cutlet - wasabi soy sauce, sansho pepper, salt, beef cutlet sauce, egg, curry. The wasabi soy sauce was delicious, but when the wasabi ran out, I used the sauce. The egg wasn't really necessary with the beef cutlet. In the end, I drank it. Beef cutlets are delicious. It's a taste that you can't replicate at home.

I think it was a luxurious set. I ordered the set meal with all four cuts of meat, all rare. The fillet was incredibly tender, bursting with flavor with each bite! I had the tongue with grated radish, it had a resilient texture. The sirloin and ribeye were enjoyed with sauce. The rice was so good I couldn't resist getting a second helping! I got full halfway through, but I managed to finish everything. And of course, I had a highball to go with it.

Located on the 2nd floor of Arde Shin-Osaka, near Osaka Metro Midosuji Line Shin-Osaka Station! A high-quality gyukatsu restaurant that doesn't feel like a chain! You can enjoy it as it is or like me, on top of rice. With plenty of condiments available, you won't get tired of eating it. The rare katsu is the best! Thank you for the meal! During a business trip to Osaka, I searched for lunch inside Shin-Osaka Station and chose this restaurant. I have been to other beef cutlet restaurants before, but the meat here was small and the portion was not very satisfying. The quality was also mediocre. They offer multiple sauces, which is nice for variety. You can get unlimited rice, miso soup, and cabbage.

I visited around 18:30 and there was no wait. The menu was surprisingly extensive and I had a hard time deciding, but I ended up ordering the sirloin cutlet set meal. I always thought beef cutlets were a bit high-end, but being able to eat this level of quality at a chain restaurant is much appreciated. It was very delicious.

I visited a meat restaurant at Shin-Osaka Station because I wanted to eat meat. Personally, it was great!! It was incredibly delicious, and there were many different seasoning options to enjoy!! You can try about six different flavors like curry dip, egg and soy sauce dip, wasabi, and more. They were all delicious!! I ordered the fillet, and it was tender and crispy!! It's a bit pricey because it's meat, but honestly, I think you should try it at least once. Definitely check it out when you visit Shin-Osaka for business or other reasons!
