I realized that I hadn't been to this restaurant for a year... Before that, I used to go about once a week with my coworkers. My favorite dish, the Ema-nogi Toro Ikura Don (No. 61), and everyone else's favorite, the Uogashi Don (No. 8), are no longer on the menu, so no one has been going there. I noticed that the prices have gone up. But even with prices rising everywhere, 600 yen is still reasonable. I really wanted to eat there, even without the ikura and uni that I love, along with the shirasu and kazunoko that used to be in the menu. I was craving it so much that I went alone to order the Ema-nogi Toro Don (No. 49). I ordered it and it was ready in no time! Maybe it was good that it was before lunchtime. Eating it after a long time, it was still delicious... The crunchy texture of the Ema-nogi and the soft Toro go so well together. I finished it in no time. Let's do our best at work in the afternoon! I hope the ikura and uni will make a comeback soon. When they do, I'll come back with my coworkers. Thank you for the meal ☺︎

Today, my wife and I visited this restaurant at 1:00 PM. We used to avoid this place because we thought it was just for takeout seafood. However, when we asked the staff about the daily special donburi, they said it comes with 10 different kinds of seafood. After discussing, we decided to order the daily special donburi and the Negitoro donburi. We entered from the back and exited from the back as well.
[Food Review]
Negitoro Donburi: The portion size was generous with plenty of Negitoro and toppings. The taste was also great. They had an option for extra toppings, but we didn't choose it. Overall, the cost performance was good. We mixed the Negitoro and toppings together and enjoyed it thoroughly.
[Overall]
The price was reasonable at 600 yen considering the quality. We left satisfied and will definitely visit again. Next time, we plan to order the extra topping option and enjoy it with beer!笑笑

I had the recommended dish number 61 again. It was the Engawa (flounder fin), Negitoro (minced tuna with green onions), and Ikura (salmon roe) rice bowl. Even though I made a phone reservation, they no longer include miso soup. They also don't provide chopsticks unless you ask. However, the taste is still delicious. I miss the previous wasabi, it was so good. Now they use tube wasabi for business. It seems like they have mostly removed sea urchin dishes from the menu. Thank you for the meal. ☺︎

I almost always rely on Zouso's work. The basic price is 540 yen, and it's really voluminous! When you make a reservation by phone and pick it up, you can actually get a complimentary miso soup that is normally charged for. Uni and ikura may be a bit more expensive when compared to other sushi places, but the amount you get is enough to fill you up, so it's really recommended. I've eaten it about 30 times, but I forgot to leave a review. My recommendation is number 61 (I order by number). I always order number 61. For those trying it for the first time, I hope you try ordering number 61. It includes Engawa, Negitoro, and ikura. However, the picture is not at all number 61! When I feel like treating myself, I also order additional items, so I paid around 700 yen for the picture. You can choose from options like seared salmon toro. It's really delicious. Sometimes there are stories about the Negitoro being frozen, but I haven't experienced that. I will continue to buy it in the future, so please keep up the good taste!

I couldn't eat lunch slowly and decided to stop by "Donmaru" in Munakata on my way back from a trip to Fukuoka City and the eastern part of Kitakyushu by car. They offer seafood bowls for 540 yen each. I chose the "Uogashi bowl" which had squid, tuna, negitoro, sea urchin, and salmon roe for only 540 yen. It was amazing! I quickly finished my lunch and left the restaurant feeling satisfied.

This is a takeout-only shop located along Route 3 in Munakata. It is run by a fishmonger and specializes in seafood bowls, all priced at a flat rate of 500 yen. The menu is extensive, offering almost all types of seafood bowls, including daily specials. They also offer options for extra-large servings and additional seafood toppings. The seafood is delicious and the prices are very affordable. The vinegar rice may be a bit tangy for some, but families seem to enjoy coming here. Overall, highly recommended for its affordability and tasty seafood.

I have used this restaurant many times and this time I went with my colleagues from work! Today we had a job that required us to go a bit far. In the car on the way, my boss suggested having a bowl dish for lunch. So we decided on Donmaru! My go-to dish lately is the Anago Hotate Don with Negitoro topping, it's really delicious. I always have a hard time deciding on the menu but end up choosing this one. When you order by phone, they include miso soup for you. The price and the portion are really good. The menu has a lot of options which is great. My colleagues always go for the extra-large portion. The staff is very friendly and the service is excellent. I definitely want to go back again.

Son and I came to the restaurant to get dinner. We have been to Fukutsu a few times, but this was our first time here. We are big fans of donburi, so we are grateful that they opened a branch in Munakata. Thank you. One good thing about this place is that it is cheap, delicious, and not usually crowded, so the waiting time is short. Even though it may not be good for the restaurant, it makes us happy and more willing to come. This time, there were no other customers even though it was past 7 pm. We could take our time choosing. My wife had the three-meal donburi, my daughter had the Hokkai donburi, my son had the tuna and salmon donburi, and I had the tuna and squid donburi. It only took less than 5 minutes for our orders to be ready. I noticed some seaweed soup called "Aosa Soup" next to the cash register, and it caught my interest. It was priced at 100 yen each, so I decided to buy one. However, it turned out that it was 300 yen for a bag of three, and I felt a bit awkward to back out, so I bought it. I wish they had the price per piece displayed. When we got home and tried the soup, my wife mentioned that it tasted slightly different from the one in Fukutsu. It seemed less sweet. I couldn't really tell, but once she pointed it out, I could see what she meant. But overall, the donburi was as hearty and delicious as always. I always wonder how they manage to make a profit at 540 yen. It's more than satisfying. No complaints at this price point, except for the unclear pricing of the Aosa Soup.

There is a sushi restaurant along Route 3 that specializes in take-out seafood bowls. I happened to pass by a new store with a congratulatory wreath on the door while driving back to Fukuoka from Shingu on Route 3. The prominent sign indicated that it was a specialty store for take-out seafood bowls. When I entered the store, I noticed that there was no seating for dining in, only chairs for waiting for orders. The menu surprised me with over 50 varieties of seafood bowls, all priced at 500 yen each. I was initially expecting just original seafood bowls, so I had a hard time deciding which one to order. After looking at a flyer in the store, I realized that it was started by a sushi restaurant, which explained the wide variety and affordable prices. After much consideration, I decided to take out a negitoro bowl for 500 yen. The negitoro bowl consisted of negitoro and shredded egg, with a separate pack of soy sauce. The ability to take out the bowl without the flavors added initially made sense to me. You can also opt for larger portions for an additional fee, but the regular size was sufficient for me. The store, called Genkai Donmaru Munakata, is located right by the Hikarioka bus stop along Route 3. Address: 123-1 Haramachi, Munakata City. Phone: 0940-37-1733. Business hours: 11:00-20:00. Closed on irregular days.

I ordered the Seafood Bowl with extra toppings. It's like putting supermarket sashimi on top of vinegar rice. It might be good for a quick and easy meal.
