天満橋のスーパーマン
Located at the intersection of Nagahori Street and Sakaisuji Street in the northeast, heading north on Sakaisuji Street and then east for 100 meters, you will find a mixed-use building with many dining options. Climb the spiral staircase to the 2nd floor, where you will find a small restaurant or snack bar with only 6 seats and 2 tables (8 seats). The space may seem small at first glance. They offer a lunch set for 650 yen, which includes choices like simmered hamburger, stuffed cabbage rolls, fried chicken, tendon rice bowl, simmered mackerel, mackerel in sweet soy sauce, salt-grilled salmon, salt-grilled mackerel, salt-grilled saury, and salt-grilled horse mackerel. You can choose 2 side dishes from options like pumpkin, eggplant, potato salad, tofu, and hijiki. The miso soup is filled with seaweed and tofu, and you can have unlimited refills of rice, pickles, and Chinese cabbage kimchi. The menu includes 2 cabbage rolls in tomato sauce, oden (radish, deep-fried tofu, fish cake), and rolled omelette with broccoli and Chinese cabbage. The variety of dishes is impressive, and the taste is like home-cooked food. The owner, who looks younger than her age of 15, runs the place alone. Her personality shines more than her customer service. Despite not drinking alcohol, she creates a late-night atmosphere with enjoyable conversations. It was a pleasant experience, and I look forward to visiting at night.
