Gourmet café restaurant where you can enjoy delicious burgers. They offer breakfast menu in the morning. The Eggs Benedict has a rich cheese and egg yolk that pairs perfectly with the buns and bacon. The portion size is generous and satisfying. Delicious.

I had some errands to run in Tenjin and took a break at a cafe. It's conveniently located on the first floor of Solaria. I ordered a mint soda. It had a lot of mint in it and was refreshingly sweet, helping me relax and feel refreshed.

Near Nishitetsu Fukuoka Station, there is "THE CITY BAKERY BAR & BURGER RUBIN Tenjin Solaria Plaza," a cafe restaurant where you can enjoy gourmet burgers. The interior is styled like New York, with a view of the oasis of Tenjin, Kego Park. It has a stylish atmosphere with a bar counter. According to ChatGPT, "THE CITY BAKERY was founded in 1987 in Manhattan, New York, by Maury Rubin, who was passionate about producing high-quality and innovative bakery products."
Burgers are priced from 520 yen, with options like hot dogs and grilled sandwiches also available. The set with fries and a drink starts from 550 yen. If you're looking to enjoy a high-quality burger in a relaxed atmosphere in the heart of Tenjin, the prices seem reasonable. This time, I tried the "Bacon Mozzarella Burger" for 748 yen and the "A.B.C. Burger (Avocado Bacon Cheese Burger)" for 748 yen. These palm-sized burgers are packed with fresh vegetables and meat patty, offering a rich and condensed flavor. Both burgers feature a prominent presence of bacon. The melting mozzarella and avocado are equally delicious. I also ordered the set menu with "Fried Potato (M) + Drink" for 660 yen. The freshly fried, crispy potatoes were delicious. I chose the blend coffee (hot) and the fruit ginger soda (blueberry) for my drink. Bon appétit!

I visited City Bakery for breakfast during Golden Week. The croissant was delicious with just the right amount of salt. It's recommended to visit before 10am as the place gets crowded and items like Eggs Benedict and croissants sell out. They accept PayPay.

Today's breakfast. I ordered the Eggs Benedict set. It was 1,200 yen with a drink included. It's double the price of illy's morning, but it's more luxurious so it's understandable. The Eggs Benedict was delicious with the runny yolk, so I was very satisfied! It's nice to be able to casually enjoy a hotel breakfast in the morning. I will definitely come back!

The first floor has a beautiful glass-walled interior. I ordered a hamburger with fries and a drink set. The burger bun was very tasty and had a good amount of ingredients. The fries were crispy and very delicious. Since they were freshly made, they were really tasty.

It's raining. I didn't want to get wet, so I walked through the Tenjin underground shopping area to Solaria Plaza. I stopped for lunch at "The City Bakery Bar and Burger Rubin." The restaurant is located near the elevator of Solaria Plaza Hotel. On the way up a few steps to the entrance of the restaurant, there was an information board saying, "Please secure your seat first." It was 11:40. It was still early and not too crowded. I secured a table for two near the corner where you can see Ohori Park, and then headed to the register. I ordered the Blue Cheese Burger (671 yen, tax included) and a set with small fries and a drink (550 yen). I received my drink and a number tag at the counter next to the register. The fries and burger would be brought to me later by the staff. I chose Earl Grey tea for my drink, but it was served in a cup with a tea bag, not in a teapot as I had expected. I was a bit disappointed by the cheap presentation for a 550 yen drink set. The service took about 10 minutes. I could see Joyfull restaurant across Ohori Park. As I was wondering about the drink bar over there, my burger arrived. It was smaller than I had imagined, fitting in one hand. I took a bite. The fluffy bun and meaty patty were delicious. The fruity sweetness of the sauce stood out at first, followed by the blue cheese flavor later on. Maybe the sauce wasn't evenly spread? The fries were skin-on, like thin sticks similar to McDonald's. It felt more like a snack than a lunch, and I finished it quickly. It might be just right for me since I have a drinking party planned for tonight. (laughs) Considering the price, it didn't feel like a great deal. Thank you for the meal.

The salad lunch came with salad, soup, and three pieces of bread! I love that they offer unlimited olive oil for the salad. I couldn't resist and drenched everything in it before eating. They had six different types of dressings for the salad, and they served the dressings in separate dishes, so I could use olive oil again.

I wanted to eat a hamburger so I visited this place. I have used this cafe or bar before, but this was my first time having a meal here. It has a calm atmosphere and is not really for large groups, so it is recommended for individuals or couples. I ordered the Chili Burger, Chopped Salad & Drink set, and the Green Curry-style Soup. The Chili Burger had a mild spiciness and was generously sauced. The bottom bun was a bit thin, so it got a bit messy with the sauce, but the patty was meaty and satisfying. I also liked it without cheese. The Chopped Salad had a good amount of what seemed like barley, more than it looked. It might be easier to eat if they reduce the amount a bit and add some toppings like tomatoes on top. I chose the Lemon Ginger Ale for my drink, which came in a large glass. The set menu allows you to choose two items for an extra 500 yen, which is a good deal. The Green Curry-style Soup was full of vegetables and had a spicy kick at the end, quite authentic. My husband, who doesn't like spicy food, couldn't handle it, but it was just right for me who likes spicy food. Enjoying the vegetables also reduced the guilt of indulging in a junky hamburger. I would like to try other items on the menu as well, but the total cost was around 1700 yen, so it's not cheap, hence a rating of 3.5.

Spicy and meaty hamburger! I want to eat a hamburger! So, I went to this restaurant that I had never been to before. Authentic hamburgers usually cost over 1000 yen, which can be tough, but at this place, you can enjoy one for less than that. It's priced between Freshness Burger and gourmet hamburgers. I ordered a Double Cheeseburger, and it was huge with a tempting appearance. The cheese looked delicious. When I took a big bite, I could taste the savory meat, the spiciness, and the rich flavor of the meat. The atmosphere of the restaurant itself was stylish, making it a very satisfying lunch!

I visited a branch for a meal before 11:30, so I chose this place. It's been a while since I last visited. But I ordered the same thing as last time, haha, I'm not the adventurous type. The weather was nice that day, so I enjoyed my meal while looking at the park. The restaurant was almost full, so it took a bit of time for the food to be served, but the taste was great!! The croissant was crispy and the minestrone soup was delicious! Thank you for the meal.

I visited for a slightly late lunch! I had the Chili Sauce Burger set for 605 yen plus tax. It's been a while since I had a real burger and it was definitely different! Each component had a sense of luxury and they were all delicious. There were various types of burgers on the menu, so I want to go back again!

On this day, I lined up from the morning to get the premium voucher of Solaria Plaza and finally got what I wanted. I wanted to use it right away, so I went to this shop. It's a burger-focused shop called City Bakery. When I visited around 1:30 PM, there was a line outside the shop. It was my first time visiting, so I waited in line. You have to order first and then pay at the counter. As my turn approached, the staff asked me, "Are you going to save a seat?" I didn't save a seat, so I was instructed to do so. I hurried inside and, since I was alone, put my belongings on a counter seat that caught my eye and went back to my original position with only my valuables. There was a sign outside the shop saying "Please save a seat before ordering," and I didn't notice it because I was blocked by the couple in front of me. I felt bad... But I gathered myself and when it was my turn, I ordered a cheeseburger and chose a set menu with a drink and soup for an additional 550 yen. I chose the Manhattan Clam Chowder soup, but it looked and tasted more like minestrone. I paid and went back to the seat I had saved earlier. They bring the food to you after you order. The burger was smaller than I expected, more like a McDonald's size. The buns were delicious, probably because they focus on bread. The cheese was nicely grilled. The soup was full of ingredients. They served coffee in an original mug, and it tasted average. I wonder if it turns into a bar at night, as there were also alcohol bottles lined up on the counter. It's a stylish fast-food place.

Located on the first floor of Solaria Plaza, adjacent to Kego Park, just a two-minute walk from Nishitetsu Tenjin (Fukuoka) Station in Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture. The shop is less crowded compared to City Bakeries in Tokyo and Osaka. I stopped by here for breakfast after arriving at Fukuoka Airport in the morning. I had a BLT hot sandwich and an iced coffee. The hot sandwich was delicious and nicely made, with no particular standout feature. The atmosphere is great as it overlooks the park. Thank you for the meal.

I visited around 1 pm on a weekday. After entering and securing a seat, I placed my order and paid at the counter. The items I ordered were a hamburger for 480 yen, bacon topping for 150 yen, and a soup set (soup and drink) for 550 yen. I chose clam chowder for the soup and iced coffee for the drink. The total including tax was 1243 yen. I received my iced coffee in a glass bottle with a number tag and returned to my seat. The cozy atmosphere inside the restaurant was very pleasant. After waiting for about 5-6 minutes, my burger arrived. First, I tried the soup, which was a tomato-flavored clam chowder. It was hot and filled with plenty of vegetables and clams, with delicious seasoning. Then, onto the burger. It was simple with fluffy buns and some purple onions as the vegetables. The burger had a slightly charred aroma from the patty, which was delicious. Adding bacon was the right choice. Although the burger was not as large as those from specialty burger joints, the soup with generous toppings provided a satisfying lunch experience. Thank you for the meal~

I had an espresso at The City Bakery Bar and Burger Rubin on the first floor of Salaria Plaza. The bitterness of the well-extracted coffee is excellent. They have a bar counter so you can also enjoy alcohol, making it suitable for various situations.

Sometimes I rely on this bakery. They have a great selection of cafe menu items and alcohol, making it a convenient place for a break. Today, I opted for a light lunch. They offer salad and potato sets, so I decided to pair my bread with fried potatoes and beer. Choosing a bread that goes well with beer was a tough decision... I debated between a hard orange peel bread, a cheese bread, or even a condensed milk cream bread. After much consideration, I settled on a butter chicken curry bread. The fried potatoes arrived shortly after, and they were thin and light. The table was filled with carbs, especially with the addition of the bread set. The curry bread and potatoes were delicious, and the beer was satisfying with its smooth foam. It seems like opting for a salad set with wine would also be enjoyable. They have a counter seating option for solo diners as well. Thank you for the meal~

There was a stylish café on the first floor of the beautiful building in front of Tenjin Station, Solaria Plaza, so I went in to rest my tired body from walking. Although there was a national chain café in the basement, this one had a more relaxed atmosphere! The taste is not that inferior to the world chain stores. Café latte ¥450, with soy milk +¥100, Earl Grey ¥400, each plus 10% tax for dining in. There was someone enjoying a hamburger that looked delicious, so I would like to try it if I have the chance.

I visited The City Bakery on the first floor of Solaria Plaza, as I heard they serve breakfast on weekends starting from 8 am. I opted for the CB Breakfast for 1,210 yen, but asked for the croissant to be substituted with toast. The atmosphere at the bar was nice. The coffee had a refreshing acidity to it and was delicious. The toast was thick, about 3 centimeters, and had a chewy texture that was tasty. The dish also came with two sunny-side-up eggs, which made for a satisfying meal. The toast served here must be available at the bakery downstairs, and if I lived nearby, I would definitely buy it to take home.

Blue cheese hamburger tiramisu is so good! The fluffy buns go well with the blue cheese! Cheese lovers will love it! The hamburgers here are cute and delicious in a compact size, and they are very reasonable, so they are perfect for a light snack! There are also many different varieties and unique options, making it interesting!
