Had a lunch meeting with my junior colleague from Kyojutai. We were both surprised when we saw the menu. "Adding the Salad Bar to the Handmade Hamburg & Grilled Chicken makes it 1500 yen..." We ordered the Handmade Hamburg & Grilled Chicken set with the Salad Bar, which came to a total of 1507 yen. The lettuce and cabbage in the Salad Bar looked a bit wilted, probably because they were pre-cut and vacuum-packed before being delivered to the store. The red marks from cutting with a knife were visible... It can't be helped, but considering the price, it's a bit disappointing. All orders and payments were done through a touch panel. Unless you want to sit for a long time during a meeting, it's not worth it anymore... Even in the era of price hikes, it doesn't match the value. Thank you for the meal.

Lunch at 5:00 pm is convenient. This time, I had a main dish and salad bar for about 1000 yen. The salad had cabbage, lettuce, tomatoes, corn, two types of pasta, and curry, so I was satisfied. Since lunch is available until 5:00 pm, you can also enjoy a late lunch. The lettuce seemed a bit cut up and had been sitting for a while, but it was still within an acceptable range.

After the meeting on Sunday, we decided to go to our usual hamburger place to eat together, but it was closed so we ended up at Big Boy. We were able to find seats right away. I ordered a hamburger with shrimp fry because it looked good on the menu. I went to the salad bar first and got some salad, and also tried the soup which was very delicious so I had two bowls. After a while, the hamburger arrived and when I put the sauce on it, it made the rice go down smoothly. The shrimp fry was a bit hard in the frying, though.

I went to Big Boy for lunch today. I ordered the lunch set for 690 yen [including tax 759 yen] with the soup bar. The hamburger was just the right level of softness and quite good. The taste was also delicious. However, they advertised that you could get a free extra portion of rice during lunchtime, so I tried it, but the portion was actually smaller than I expected. I was like, "Is this the extra portion?" If you know the portion size beforehand, it's fine, but if you're really hungry, you might think it's too small. By the way, whenever I go to Big Boy, I always end up just eating the young corn, cabbage, okra, and snow peas from the salad bar along with my favorite corn soup. I don't even need the main dish. I seriously think that as long as I have corn soup, young corn, okra, and tomatoes, I'm good. I've been thinking recently that I want to stop going into restaurants just to post on Tabelog, even when I'm not that hungry.

Today's lunch was at Big Boy Hachinohe Sato store. I had the hamburger lunch with a soup bar. The hamburger was tender and the corn soup was light and very delicious. The rice was supposed to be a large serving for free, but it was a normal amount, so even women could eat it. I want to try a different lunch next time. Please try it once. The lunch I had today cost 690 yen (including tax).

On the weekend, after exercising, I went to a steakhouse near Nitori Mall. I ordered the ribeye and garlic cut steak with a salad bar. The salad bar offered plenty of vegetables and seaweed for a healthy meal. The soup of the day was gumbo (okra), which was delicious. The ribeye steak was definitely the best choice, with a satisfying amount of meat. Overall, it was a reasonably priced meal where I could get my fill of meat and vegetables.

PayPay Gourmet. I had the chicken lunch, which was around 800 yen and came with a salad bar and soup bar, making it a great deal. They also offer all-you-can-eat curry rice. The restaurant has a bit of a worn-out feel, with the blind at the entrance looking like it's been burnt, which was kind of funny. But it's not particularly dirty or anything like that.

Today's lunch was at BigBoy Hachinosato Store in Osaka, Higashi-Osaka City. It is a well-known hamburger chain restaurant. It's a classic family restaurant with old-fashioned hamburgers. I haven't used it much, maybe just a few times on this blog. I had the daily lunch set (638 yen) with the lunch set option (+110 yen). Today's menu was "Handmade hamburger & sausage cutlet". The hamburger is only 100g, but with the lunch set, you can have unlimited rice, curry, and soup. Let's fill up our stomachs with this! After ordering, first, I went to the rice and soup corner. There are two types of soup: corn soup and wakame seaweed soup. Personally, I don't think wakame soup goes well with hamburgers. There are two types of rice: normal rice and turmeric rice. This is amazing for a place that's not a curry specialty restaurant. The curry itself is delicious. It's not too spicy, not too focused on the roux, but it's still a hamburger place. You can enjoy the flavor of the meat in the curry. There is also a powdered spice to sprinkle on top, so you can adjust the spiciness and make it quite authentic. And then, the hamburger arrives! It looks delicious. Yum! It's really tasty. Don't underestimate family restaurants! It's juicy with plenty of meat juices. The sauce is also delicious, and the eggplant on top is tasty too. Oh!! It's quite good. I recommend it. The portion may be small, but I think it's enough in its own way. Second serving of curry. Second serving of corn soup. "You are a big boy" (sung by Namie Amuro) Once I wanted to visit "Big Boy" restaurant, so I checked out their weekday lunch deals. It was my first time there, and I found out that they have a self-service system for water, chopsticks, soup, and rice. The lunch set was a great deal at 715 yen including tax. The all-you-can-eat curry and soup were delicious. I tried the cheese hamburger, onion and sausage fry, and potato fry that came on a hot plate. The hamburger was filled with gooey cheese and the sausage fry was tasty. I also discovered they have glass wine for 130 yen.

Instead of criticizing politicians who are trying to protect the citizens from the threat of the North and neighboring countries, it would be better if each politician thinks about what they can do for the people now and cooperate. Selling masks on auction sites is outrageous! They should consider the people who go out and eat while living in fear every day. I visited a family restaurant near the large emergency hospital, East Osaka Hospital, during lunchtime to avoid crowds. They said, "There is no salad bar for virus prevention." The voluminous hamburger topped with deep-fried garlic was delicious! I visited during Sunday lunchtime and the restaurant was lively with families. However, the salad bar, soup bar, and drink bar were not crowded and had a good selection. It's disappointing when there's a shortage of food at all-you-can-eat restaurants. The hamburger was undeniably delicious and I would give it a perfect score for a family restaurant. The garlic was deep-fried and had a sweet potato-like taste without any strong smell, which was delicious. I recommend it for when you want to eat a hearty meal.

<First visit in May 2016> It was during the Golden Week holiday. After finishing my morning work, I decided to fuel up for the afternoon activities and stumbled upon this place. Conveniently located along the central ring road with a large parking lot, this chain restaurant was a great find. Since it was just after opening, there were no other customers at first. As time passed, more and more young people started to trickle in. I ordered the following: - Handmade hamburger & cut steak (with Big Boy buffet) (¥1390) - Seared large barrel hamburger & chicken steak (200g) (with Big Boy buffet) (¥1790): The pricing was quite bold. The large barrel hamburger was served rare inside and you had to cook it to your liking on a hot iron plate. Despite being 100% coarse ground beef, it had a rare texture. The taste was average... You needed sauce to make it more satisfying. Hmm, disappointing. The cost performance was not great. I won't be visiting again.

■2015/07/23■ On my way back to the office from a business trip, I decided to have lunch. I heard from some colleagues that the lunch at Big Boy Yahatanosato along the Chuo Loop Line is delicious and cheap! I visited the restaurant based on their recommendation. The staff recommended the daily special number 7 for today. They rotate about 10 lunch menu options. The lunch set includes the main dish, drink bar (including soup), and free refills for everything except the curry main dish. All of this for 719 yen (767 yen including tax). The main dish, a hamburger, was juicy and delicious. The side of potato fries was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. This price is a great deal! If there was one nearby, I would definitely go back. Thank you for the meal!

I sometimes have lunch at this restaurant. By presenting my JAF card, I can get a free drink bar. The lunch menu changes occasionally, so I never get bored. On weekends, all seats are non-smoking, which is a great service for me as a non-smoker.
