I visited this shop that feels like a time slip to another world right next to us. After enjoying myself, I ordered octopus balls with sauce and mayonnaise flavor (¥600). The takoyaki was delicious, just like the ones in Osaka. There were about 10 pieces, and my stomach was satisfied. Thank you for the meal!

This place is in a good location! The food is delicious. It might be a bit difficult to get to, but I really like takoyaki. I wish I could have a big jug of sake in one hand and drink it up, but that's the only disappointment. The atmosphere here and at the place next door hasn't changed since long ago! Thank you for the meal. I will come back again!

Around 3:00 PM on a Sunday, about a 5-6 minute walk from Imazato Station on the Hankai Line. It's also about a 10-minute walk from Dobutsuen-mae Station. The restaurant is located at the southern end of Tobita Shinchi. The traditional Japanese restaurant in Tobita Shinchi is still open at this time, so I tried to avoid passing by the front of the restaurant. First, I purchased food and drinks at the counter, then moved to the casual eat-in area next to it. The eat-in area is spacious with several tables, two TVs showing horse racing, and smoking is allowed. The staff consists of a Japanese man and a woman from the continent. There were two groups of young men in plain clothes as other customers. I sat at a table facing the street and ordered the following: Takoyaki with sauce for 600 yen, Barley shochu with hot water for 500 yen, and Tomato shochu highball for 500 yen. The price may seem a bit high given the atmosphere of the place, but considering the rarity of being able to spend time here, it might actually be quite reasonable, depending on one's perspective. The hot and gooey takoyaki was delicious, and the drinks were just right. The open and breezy atmosphere made it comfortable, and the location was a treat for enthusiasts, making it easy to relax and enjoy the time with a drink. Just as we were enjoying ourselves, my husband, who had finished his ramen quickly, joined me early, and we stayed until the main race started. I don't know why I like this area so much, but I am grateful that this restaurant is here. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

The restaurant was not crowded around 2pm on Sunday. There were benches and tables outside, so we ate at the outdoor seats. The location is in a deep area at the edge of Tobita Shinchi. We had octopus balls (8 pieces) with salt and mayonnaise flavor for 600 yen, and two draft beers for 500 yen each. The weather was nice, so having octopus balls and beer outside in the afternoon was the best!

When searching for "Nishinari Ward Takoyaki" on the gourmet version of Tabelog, the 3rd place is Atchichi Honpo Tobita Shinchi Honten. I visited this place to create a video for the top 10 Nishinari Ward Takoyaki ranking. Atchichi Honpo is located right in front of Japan's largest red-light district, Tobita Shinchi. It is affiliated with a tempura bowl restaurant across the street. The unique feature here is the "Atchichi" style. They use a perfect blend of bonito dashi and wheat flour, and instead of using a copper plate with high thermal conductivity, they deliberately use an iron cast takoyaki pan. By carefully cooking the outside to a thin and crispy texture, the inside becomes gooey and incredibly delicious! The octopus used is a precious raw octopus with a great texture and flavor. The takoyaki is generously topped with sweet sauce and mayonnaise, along with plenty of large bonito flakes and seaweed. Free green onions and sweet vinegar ginger are also served on the side, which goes well with the takoyaki. It's a sweet and delicious takoyaki, but you can also choose from plain, soy sauce, salt, or ponzu sauce in addition to the sauce. It may be a bit difficult to visit alone, but this is a recommended takoyaki place that can also be found in Dotonbori and Tsutenkaku.

I visited Acchichi Honpo and tried their takoyaki. I also had their famous Acchichi croquette. The croquette was hot and crispy, with a rich and flavorful filling. The takoyaki had a perfect balance of octopus and seasoning, making it stand out compared to other places. Overall, I was very impressed with the quality of both dishes.【Menu】- Takoyaki (sauce and mayonnaise) 500 yen- Nishinari specialty Acchichi croquette 400 yen- Highball 400 yen

Took a little deep walk in Osaka to see Taisho Yotsuban, then took a break at a nearby takoyaki shop. It was nice and cool. Had six hot and delicious takoyaki with green onions and mayonnaise! The sauce was a bit spicy at first, but it became addictive and tasty. The pickled ginger served on the side was delicious. It's better than regular pickled ginger. It would be great if there was a shop like this nearby. The takoyaki had a grown-up taste. Soft drinks were cheap. It's better than a vending machine. It was nice to sit down, relax, and enjoy a drink in the cool atmosphere. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

My acquaintance still hasn't returned. Maybe an extension? Since I had nothing to do while waiting, I quickly ate some takoyaki. This restaurant has multiple locations in Osaka. Their takoyaki is very hot and unique to Osaka. While waiting, my heart and body warmed up. Thank you for the meal!

Takoyaki is delicious! I thought so for the first time. I have tried it at other chains and at other shops, but this place is delicious! The location is a bit tricky, but it's the best! We enjoyed it outside in the evening when it was slightly dark before sunset. Be careful of getting bitten by mosquitoes haha. The bottled tea is also a friendly price at 100 yen per bottle. This time, I had it with sauce and mayonnaise topped with green onions, but next time I definitely want to try it with soy sauce, mayonnaise, and green onions. It was delicious~

Heading towards the Nishinari area for lunch, I decided to stop by a Chinese restaurant in Tenkachaya for a hearty meal before strolling around my usual daytime neighborhood. As I wandered around the shopping street near Dobutsuen-mae, I came across a uniquely cool-looking udon restaurant that had just opened for the first time. I couldn't resist and went in for a quick bowl of udon, despite having just eaten. After that, I continued my exploration, passing by various culinary establishments that I always found intriguing but never visited. Finally, I decided to indulge in some takoyaki as a snack at a place I had been curious about for a while. I chose a sauce topping from the 8 available options and asked for free toppings of green onions and mayonnaise. I entered the eat-in space, which had a beach house vibe, and noticed customers coming in to eat and leaving promptly. The veteran presence among the customers caught my eye. I was served at a table but decided to move to the terrace seating for a change of atmosphere. I purchased a fizzy drink from the 100 yen vending machine and enjoyed the piping hot takoyaki, which had a nice balance of softness and flavor. It was a different type of takoyaki compared to what I was used to, and I finally realized my preference for the softer, fluffier kind. The broth was delicious, and I savored each bite with my drink. As I gazed at the surroundings, I found myself lost in thought, and before I knew it, dusk had arrived. What was supposed to be a quick lunch stop turned into spending the entire evening in this neighborhood, where the sense of escapism blended seamlessly with the everyday life, creating a comforting feeling.

Sakaisuji Electric Railway Imazuna Station suddenly felt like eating takoyaki, so I made a detour! There is a very noticeable shop at the entrance of Tobita❗️ I ordered a standard takoyaki with sauce and mayonnaise and a tomato chu-hi. I sat down in the center of the shop. The building is open, so you can see the streets of Tobita well. There are husbands who have finished their drinking, husbands who are deciding which restaurant to enter, and young people who are acting suspiciously. The takoyaki is coming soon! It arrived, it arrived. The smell of the sauce and the chewy octopus are irresistible. Enjoying a moment with takoyaki and tomato chu-hi while watching the flower district where various thoughts intersect... The freshly made takoyaki is hot, everyone's takoyaki is hot. That's how the evening goes. #HotHotShop #HotHotShop Tobita Shinchi Honten #Tobita Shinchi #Tobita Shinchi Ryori Kumiai #Tobita Shinchi entrance #Osaka takoyaki #takoyaki

In the middle of the famous Tobita Shinchi, there is a takoyaki shop where you can enjoy drinking and eating takoyaki while chatting with friends. The location is great, with an open terrace where you can overlook the town. The prices and taste don't matter much when the place itself is so valuable. Despite the low number of people due to COVID-19, the shop is still going strong, which is great to see.

This takoyaki shop is located in a great place and is somewhat famous. You can hear various conversations around, and personally, I really like this area because you can feel the history and culture. It feels like a different culture and almost like a autonomous region, which makes it really fun from a sociological perspective. The taste is normal, but the atmosphere is great.

Located right in the heart of Tobita Shinchi. While the Dotonbori location may have lines, this one has spacious table seating as well. It's the perfect place for meeting up or killing time in Tobita Shinchi. And of course, the takoyaki is delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Located in a corner of this unique town, we have Acchichi Honpo. It's about an 8-minute walk from Dobutsuen-mae Station. Why not visit the deep district of Tobita Shinchi while enjoying some takoyaki? This area has a truly unique atmosphere, being an adult amusement park and all. I ordered takoyaki and beer and headed inside. The piping hot takoyaki and beer make for a perfect combination. One serving costs 500 yen. The sauce and mayonnaise are just right. Well, the takoyaki was simply delicious.

Checked in at 10:00 PM in Shinsekai and wandered around looking for food. The nightlife in Shinsekai is deep. Next to it is Tennoji Zoo, so you can hear the roaring of animals. Even on the streets, you can hear people shouting or beggars sleeping on the sidewalk. It's like a zoo in Shinsekai. At this time, only izakayas and kushikatsu restaurants are open, so it's hard to choose a place to eat. Visited the Billiken Shrine without offering money, then continued wandering around until 10:30 PM. My brother wanted to eat takoyaki, so we searched and found out that Yamachan, the number one takoyaki place in Osaka, was open until 11:00 PM. Tried to take the train, but my brother suggested we walk. Ended up walking for one station. Arrived at 10:55 PM, but they were sold out. Tomorrow, I'll park my car and come back. Determined to find another place, we discovered Acchicchi Honpo, which was open until 1:30 AM in Shinsekai. Walked there from Tennoji. It felt familiar, like Tobita Shinchi. I couldn't believe that I, a virgin to the world of adult entertainment, was back here. Once I brought an acquaintance here, we ate takoyaki and passed the time. There was no seating area, so we ate in the car. The takoyaki was decently delicious (compared to what you get in Tokyo), and the heat was top-notch – it peeled the skin off the roof of my mouth. My brother also burnt himself and peeled his skin, so we both toughened up and grew a little more as men. Thank you for the meal.

Japan's largest red-light district. The shops are located in the center. It was convenient as a meeting place due to its location. I enjoyed exploring the deep side of Osaka while eating takoyaki. I wanted to visit once, so I walked around the red-light district and it was amazing! There are many beautiful women in the shops, and I was honestly surprised.

Of course, takoyaki is delicious and definitely belongs in the top five, but actually croquettes are too delicious. #Nishinari #Acchichi Honpo #takoyaki #made with octopus that can be eaten as sashimi #uses a cast iron plate that is difficult to cook on #the owner's wife looks like NMB48's Yamamoto Sayaka #actually, croquettes are delicious too

The takoyaki was delicious with a soft texture and chewy octopus inside. It suddenly appeared in Tobita Shinchi, a place known as a male sanctuary. The customers were all men. It was a great deal with 8 pieces for 600 yen!
