Skylark Group was having a half-price sale on draft beer, so my friend and I made a reservation and visited on Sunday at 12:15. Luckily, we had made a reservation as there was already a waiting list. We used a tablet to place our order. We started with the draft beer we came for, and by entering a coupon code, we were able to get a medium-sized glass for only 274 yen instead of the usual 549 yen. It was even cheaper than the happy hour price of 329 yen. We also ordered some appetizers: fried tofu for 274 yen, tempura for 329 yen, and fried horse mackerel from Nagasaki for 329 yen. These were all discounted by 100 yen from the regular prices. The draft beer arrived first, nicely chilled and delicious. I had the fried tofu, while my friend had the fried horse mackerel. We shared the tempura. The draft beer kept flowing, and we ended up having three more glasses each. Maybe we drank a bit too much for a daytime outing. We also considered ordering our main dishes. My friend had the large serving of cold soba for 659 yen, while I chose the pork cutlet rice bowl for 1,099 yen. The cold soba was impressive, especially with the large serving. The flavor and aroma were top-notch. As for the pork cutlet rice bowl, the miso soup had a rich umami flavor that complemented the dish well. The pork cutlet was delicious and satisfying. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at Yumean, especially considering the half-price deal we came for. We will definitely be back next week, maybe for a leisurely dinner next time.

It's been a while since I visited Yumean for a drink during the state of emergency. The happy hour beer time until 8:00 pm is great, with beers priced at 220 yen. The snacks are cheap and delicious, and the atmosphere is spacious and relaxed. The staff are also quick and efficient, making it a pleasant experience!

Located about a 5-minute walk from Kikugawa Station and Sumiyoshi Station, in the middle. It's on the second floor of the pet shop on the corner. There are a lot of families here. I tried the seasonal limited menu item. It's the Spicy Black Pepper Scented Bandit Bowl Set, which is a bowl of bandit-style fried chicken. It comes with rice, cabbage, bandit-style fried chicken, and green onions. Surprisingly, it's quite filling. The green onions are a bit spicy and distracting. The bandit-style fried chicken is crispy and delicious. The rice has a slightly saucy flavor. The pickled radish is sour and refreshing. You can choose between cold or hot udon. Overall, it's affordable and tasty. Maybe the way the food is presented in the photos makes it look different (laughs).

I visited this restaurant on a holiday afternoon, which is one of the two family restaurants within walking distance from my house in Tokyo (there used to be a Saizeriya here, but it closed last year, so sad). Since I became a lunch refugee, I decided to come here for a review on Tabelog. I usually tend to avoid chain restaurants, but my companion loves it. First, I had a draft Ruby beer for 549 yen, which is expensive on holidays. My dishes were: Asazuke (lightly pickled) water eggplant for 599 yen, Dream Chicken for 299 yen, and Squid legs Karaage for 399 yen. The waitress recommended the seasonal limited water eggplant, which was refreshing and delicious. I also had fried food to go with my beer. My companion, who is currently undergoing dental treatment, had Taimeshi (sea bream tea rice) with conger eel and summer vegetable tempura for 1399 yen, and he said it was delicious. We had two refills of beer for 449 yen each, which becomes 100 yen cheaper for refills. Cheers, and thank you for the meal. I will visit again sometime soon.

Family restaurants are convenient when you need to have lunch with a large group of people. When there are various family restaurants nearby, I usually choose one that can cater to everyone's preferences, regardless of age or gender. Some of the ones I go to for such occasions are Yumean, Denny's, and Washoku Sato. I had the Salted Mackerel Set for lunch on Saturday, and it was delicious. Adults can enjoy a drink while the kids have dessert after their meal. The menu is extensive and the prices are reasonable. It's quite nice.

Visited for lunch on Saturday around 6:00 PM. Had 2 glasses of draft beer, a small portion of fried chicken, katsudon, umakadon, and strawberry shaved ice. Also had french fries with ketchup. Ate too much at the family restaurant, spent 3,600 yen in total.笑

I felt like going to Yumian after a long time, so I stopped by this Yumian on my day off. Yumian mainly serves Japanese cuisine, so it seems to be popular among a wide range of customers. Today, I had chicken tatsutaage and negitoro don. Both were delicious in a normal way, so if you want to eat in a slightly calmer atmosphere than a family restaurant, this is a recommended place. Thank you for the meal.

I used it for dinner on May 27, 2017. Yumean is located right in the middle of Sumiyoshi Station and Kikukawa Station... It used to be "Steak & Hamburger Ken" before. I worked part-time at this store during my student days... and I haven't been here since then, so I was excited to see how it had been renovated. We arrived at the store at 8:00 PM. There were about 4 groups of customers waiting... We had to write our names and wait. During that time, more and more customers kept coming, and we had to wait quite a bit. It seems like there aren't enough staff, and the turnover rate is not very good. We were seated at 8:30 PM. We ordered Nebaro Soba (798 yen), Negitoro Donburi + Small Tororo Set (1,068 yen), and 2 drink bars (108 yen each). Unusually for Yumean, there was sherbet juice at the drink bar. I hope this information is helpful.

I found out that Yumean is offering a limited-time takeout campaign where you can get 12 pieces of 6 different kinds of tempura for 540 yen. I decided to go and checked it out. If you make a reservation by phone in advance, you don't have to wait. The tempura includes shrimp, eggplant, okra, pumpkin, squid, and fish. Isn't it luxurious? And when I received it, I was surprised to find that they also included tempura dipping sauce, rice bowl sauce, and wasabi salt as a service! Tempura is one of Yumean's main products. It's decent in terms of family restaurant quality. I enjoyed it leisurely at home. The price and content of this limited-time offer are amazing. They had a super cheap takeout campaign for fried chicken before, which was also delicious and a great deal. I hope they will have more campaigns like this in the future!

This used to be a chain restaurant called "Ken" serving steak and hamburgers. I visited with my baby in a carrier around 5:30 pm on a weekday, thinking there wouldn't be many customers, but there were a few groups already there. The restaurant was clean and had a calm atmosphere. There was a ramp at the entrance for wheelchair access. It was raining that day, and the staff greeted us politely, thanking us for coming despite the bad weather. The menu had a variety of options including tempura, udon, soba, grilled fish, rice bowls, and Western-style desserts, making it hard to decide. The all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu was recommended, but since we couldn't stay long, my husband ordered a tempura bowl and udon set, while I chose the Hiroshima Fair menu with anago and scallion tempura with pork dipping soba, along with a large plate of potatoes for sharing. The food arrived quickly, and the tempura was crispy and delicious, especially the sweet shrimp. The udon and soba were also satisfying. The anago and scallion tempura was a bit smaller than expected from the menu photo, but still tasty. We noticed that the restaurant serves lunch from 10 am to 5 pm, with a wide range of menu options and good value, so we decided to come back earlier next time. The customers around us included couples, families with young children, solo diners, and young people enjoying the drink all-you-can option for 2 hours at 1500 yen. We thought it was just a family restaurant, but it exceeded our expectations. We will definitely visit again.
