The thick and rich ramen with extra green onions is delicious. The soup is flavorful with plenty of chicken oil. The noodles are short and easy to slurp, and the soup is incredibly tasty. The two slices of seaweed are a nice touch. The large, thick, and tender chashu is really delicious. I want to try the chashu ramen or chashu rice bowl next time. Thank you for the meal!

I had some free time, so I visited this ramen shop that is only open on weekdays. I ordered a rich ramen with extra toppings. I like it firm, rich, and with lots of toppings! It was incredibly delicious! The only downside was that the bamboo shoots were a bit lacking.

Before the Obon holiday, I really wanted to eat here and arrived at 7:45 pm to find a line of two people waiting! As expected, it's a popular restaurant! I ordered the richly flavored chashu ramen. The best in the house style ramen! I chose the strong, extra, firm set. I'll definitely come back after the Obon holiday!

I really wanted to eat here for lunch, so I decided to stop by. I arrived after 2:00 PM and I was the only one there. The rich pork belly ramen with pork belly was amazing! It wasn't too heavy, and the pork belly was soft and delicious. I wonder when I'll be able to come back next time.

I arrived before the closing time, so I visited. I ordered my usual: thick ramen, medium firmness noodles, strong flavor, extra oil, with a side of mini rice. This is the best ramen in the house style category, in my opinion. The ramen was truly delicious, thank you very much!

"Man Ten Brothers" is a popular ramen restaurant located near Kyoto's Toji Temple. There are 3-4 parking spaces available in front of the shop. The interior has a nostalgic Showa-era diner atmosphere with manga on display. Their menu includes: Rich Ramen for 850 yen, Man Ten Special B for 350 yen, and Mini Rice for 100 yen. The Man Ten Special B comes with flavored egg, 2 slices of pork, and bamboo shoots. Despite being a house specialty, the rich ramen is not overly salty. The pork slices are tender and go well with the rice. I also tried the flavored egg, quail egg, and spinach, which all complemented the house ramen well. House ramen is a rare find in Kyoto. This was my 135th bowl of ramen in 23 years.

Today, I was in Kyoto all day, so I had a lunch place in mind but unexpected work in the morning made me search for a place last minute. I tried "Manten Kyodai" based on some decent reviews, but it didn't exceed my expectations. Taste is subjective, but it wasn't my favorite style of ramen. Thank you for the meal.

Finished work and stopped by Manzoku Kyodai, which is only open on weekdays. I ordered the rich ramen with a side of rice. The smell is incredible and really stimulates my appetite. Starting with the soup... delicious! And the ramen after eating the rice is just perfect.

I visited secretly on my way back from a business trip! Unfortunately, it was raining ☔️ but I arrived around 18:45 and almost all the seats were taken... I had the rich ramen with rice on the side, and it was amazing! So delicious! The inside of the restaurant was a bit humid and stuffy, so I hope they pay more attention to the air conditioning... I hadn't been able to visit for a while because I only go on weekdays, but I finally went back. I ordered the rich broth with a side of small rice. You can choose the type of noodles, whether to add green onions, and the intensity of the flavor. The staff didn't ask me, so make sure to tell them if you have any preferences. This time, I didn't say anything and got the default option. The default doesn't come with green onions. The noodles were thick and firm. The flavor and oil level were just right for me. I'm not sure if it's original, but the "Manten Spice" was slightly spicy and delicious. The person next to me added so much that their soup turned red. It had been a while since I last went, but it was delicious.

This is "Manten Brothers". It was my first visit. I ordered the rich ramen for 800 yen and a small rice for 100 yen. I arrived around 11:25 and the store was already open. It took about 4 minutes until the ramen was served. I topped it with chashu, spinach, green onions, quail egg, and seaweed. The noodles were short, medium-thick, curly noodles. The soup was a pork bone soy sauce broth. I had a good experience with the rich pork flavor, the umami of chicken oil, and the sharpness of soy sauce in the soup. It had the classic taste of a "home-style" ramen. The noodles were cooked slightly firm with a good chewiness that paired well with the soup. The chashu was tender and melted in the mouth. The spinach was warm and had a soft texture, making it easy to eat. Ramen goes well with rice in the "home-style" style. I enjoyed it very much. Thank you for the meal.

I visited this ramen shop at Kyoto Station because I had some time to spare. I ordered the rich Chashu ramen for 1000 yen and a mini rice for 50 yen, totaling 1050 yen. It was around 7 pm on a weekday and there was no line. The soup had a nice sweetness from chicken oil, and the balance between pork bone soup and seasoning was perfect. It had a rich soy sauce pork bone flavor that I, as a ramen lover, really enjoyed. The noodles were slightly short and thick, typical of a house style ramen. They were cooked perfectly firm, enhancing the wheat flavor in the beginning and becoming even more delicious with the soup towards the end. The spinach and white leeks were fresh and tasty, without any unpleasant taste. The chashu was moist but not greasy, with a perfect balance. The highlight for me was the Man-ten spice added towards the end. It had a strong scent of sansho pepper and the umami of garlic, making it a perfect match. It was as impressive as the Yoiichi Ichimi garlic spice. Personally, it was the ideal house style ramen for me. I was happy to have unexpectedly discovered it and will definitely visit again.
