I recommend the fruit daifuku as a souvenir. There was watermelon available since it was just before summer. My favorite is melon daifuku. Even though it's daifuku, the fruit inside is fresh and juicy. It's exciting to cut it with a string and enjoy it together with everyone. It's a perfect price range for a gift that will be appreciated!

■A shop in Osaka that sparked the trend of "Fruit Daifuku" where you can cut it yourself and enjoy the cross-section. They have started selling a beautiful summer limited edition sweet, so I got it for takeout! ■Order - Fruit Crystal (Kiwi, Fig) 1,200 yen (tax included) The appearance is like fruit soaked in water, with a beautiful transparency. The juicy fruit and soft dough are perfect for the summer. Available for a limited time until September, also sold at other stores! ■Other Menu - Sweets: Fruit Daifuku Ice, etc. ■Takeout only in-store

Artistic and trending✨ Famous for their fruit daifuku, Bensaiten has released a limited edition "Fruit Crystal" for the summer❤️. An absolutely stunning transparent fruit daifuku that I just had to go and purchase right away. The stylish store interior exuding luxury as always, I was tempted to also get the fruit daifuku but had other plans so I stuck with the Fruit Crystal this time‼️.■ Fig and kiwi, 2 pieces for 1200 yen. And guess what, they are also thread-cut style✨ So refreshing and beautiful❤️. The texture is bouncy, cold, and delicious. If I received this as a gift, I would be thrilled for sure. It was so delicious that before I knew it, it was all gone, and I wished I had bought more. It was a delightful afternoon in Arima. You can check out the birth story of the Fruit Crystal and the journey of its development and thoughts here → @jp.bigfield. Eating it after reading this will enhance the deliciousness even more, so please take a look. Thank you for the meal❤️.

I had to go to the St. Regis Hotel, but I stopped by Kawo-san Fruit Daifuku Benzaiten in Osaka Honmachi for souvenirs. The fruit daifuku here is a bit expensive, but it's the most popular among my family. Especially the pineapple and kiwi flavors are well-liked. Surprisingly, the strawberry flavor didn't impress us much. It seems that there are cheaper places with delicious strawberry daifuku. These high-quality fruit daifuku can also be a great gift option.

I received fruit daifuku as a souvenir, and it really lifted my spirits. I love traditional Japanese sweets, so I was super happy! There are many shops that sell fruit daifuku, but the size of the mandarin here is amazing. Even the small ones are as big as kiwis, and the large ones are even bigger! The fruit inside was juicy and delicious. I was so lucky! 😊

This fruit daifuku has a little white bean paste, and the mochi is soft like it melts in your mouth. The fruit pieces are large and give a satisfying bite. It was very delicious. The packaging is sturdy and each piece is carefully wrapped, making it perfect for souvenirs. ✨

First visit! The prices are quite good. - Pear Among the fruits I purchased this time, the pear was the most delicious. It was very juicy and had a good balance. - Mask melon It had a slight melon smell and lacked sweetness, which was a bit disappointing. - Shine Muscat There were two grapes included, but the sweetness and aroma of the muscat were a bit disappointing.

The image was often crowded, but on Saturday before noon... there was only one group, so I entered! I bought two kinds of fruit daifuku that I wanted to try: "Mikan" and "Persimmon". The "Persimmon" had a crisp persimmon texture. The "Mikan" was so juicy that it seemed to overflow when cut, and when I took a bite, the juice filled my mouth. The aroma spread throughout my nostrils, and it was a completely different deliciousness from the persimmon! Each piece was impressive in terms of price and deliciousness. As for whether I would want to eat it again... I might still end up going back to the familiar "Isshindo" after all...

I bought some fruit as a souvenir. I asked the staff for recommendations and got two figs, a mango, and some muscat grapes. We ate them together, and the figs were the most delicious. The staff said figs are the most popular and sell out quickly, which I can understand now. I had strawberries and oranges before, and the strawberries were better. So far, I would rank figs, strawberries, mango, and muscat grapes in that order. I want to try other varieties too, but buying a variety can get a bit expensive.

"Benzaiten" on Tabelog with a rating of about 3.3 is a shop where you can enjoy the trendy "moe-dan" daifuku. I visited the shop on a Saturday after 12 PM, and most of the daifuku were already sold out. I ended up buying one each of the remaining flavors: pineapple, orange, and kiwi. Pineapple (480 yen): I was surprised by the sweetness and juiciness of the pineapple. The white bean paste and the daifuku skin surrounding the pineapple were very thin and melted in my mouth. Orange (580 yen): A daifuku made using a whole Satsuma orange. The orange was so juicy and sweet that it seemed like extra water was added to it. The daifuku skin melted just like the pineapple one. Kiwi (550 yen): A daifuku made using a whole kiwi. The sweet and sour taste of the kiwi was irresistible. The daifuku skin melted just like the pineapple one. Additionally, even though each daifuku is only 160 kcal, making it a low-calorie treat perfect for vitamin supplementation. These daifuku are made with carefully selected ingredients and are additive-free, making them a hit with health-conscious women. However, they may be a bit pricey, so they are more of a treat for yourself.

Located on the north side of Center Ville in Honmachi, "Kakuozan Benzaiten" is a unique shop where only two people are allowed in at a time, but there is no waiting! The display is like an art exhibit, showcasing various items. I decided to try something I had never eaten before - "Wenzhou Mandarin" (large) for 580 yen. It was quite big! They provided a cooling pack and assured me it would be fine for about an hour, but with the intense heat, I wrapped the paper bag in a hand towel for extra cooling. After storing it in the office refrigerator for about two hours, I decided to give it a try. I also received a paper with instructions on how to cut it. I know you're supposed to cut mandarins horizontally. When I cut it, I was amazed at how soft and juicy it was. I took a photo and then took a bite. Wow, the mandarin was so sweet! It was incredibly delicious! It was juicy with a hint of acidity, which added a nice touch. The white part in the center turned out to be white bean paste. Fruits and white bean paste really go well together. Every time I see fruit daifuku, I can't help but buy one and enjoy it. I make it a point to try a different fruit each time.

First day of desk work in Sakaisuji-Honmachi! After having curry lunch at the curry specialty restaurant Shirogane-Tei Itobiru store with a colleague, we parted ways and I went to withdraw some money. On the way, I spotted figs, which are my husband and I's favorite! I immediately decided to visit Kakuo-san Fruit Daifuku Bensaiten Osaka Hommachi store. I found out that besides Honmachi, they also have stores in Shitennoji, Umeda Herbis, Minamimorimachi, and Tezukayama/Shitennoji Omotesando. The address of Kakuo-san Fruit Daifuku Bensaiten Osaka Hommachi store is 3-3-5 Minamihonmachi, Chuo-ku, Osaka, a 5-minute walk from Osaka Metro "Hommachi Station". I thoroughly disinfected my hands with alcohol sanitizer before entering the store. With permission from the staff, I took some photos and found the figs! When I asked the staff for figs, they said they were sold out. I learned that if the name tag is fallen, it means the product is either not in stock or sold out. Figs are a popular seasonal item and even if they are restocked, they sell out in the morning. Therefore, I decided to make a reservation to pick them up after work the next day! By the way, I asked, "What are the prices for the three sizes of figs?" and was told that the price varies depending on the size of the figs inside. The sizes available now are small and medium, and I reserved the small ones to pick up at 6 PM after work the next day! The next day, after finishing work in Sakaisuji-Honmachi, I visited the store! I added kiwi to the reserved figs! After paying the bill, I thanked the staff and left Kakuo-san Fruit Daifuku Bensaiten Osaka Hommachi store. The next day, I woke up early and... Kiwi is available year-round, while figs are a summer to fall product! It's nice that the product names are written on the nylon wrapping! You won't know what's inside the daifuku until you cut it (^_^;) I cut it in half with the enclosed string, arranged it, took photos under the sun, and enjoyed them! Both were juicy and delicious! The kiwi was the best my husband had this year! Truly the best with the white bean paste and high-quality double-layered mochi used for the daifuku! Husband, thank you for the meal! It was delicious!

I received a gift of fruit daifuku. The Golden Kiwi daifuku is a large daifuku wrapped around a whole golden kiwi, bursting with sweet fruit juice. The thin mochi and a small amount of white bean paste complement the kiwi perfectly. It's a luxurious treat that truly highlights the premium fruit. The Peach daifuku features a half-cut white peach, with juicy sweetness and a melty texture. The aroma of white peach adds to the experience. Both daifuku are seasonal limited editions, perfect for gifts. The store is a fruit daifuku specialty shop based in Nagoya, with branches all over Japan. They use premium fruits to create high-quality daifuku that make great gifts.

On this day, after enjoying a delicious lunch, I happened to pass by this shop near Honcho. It's a shop that was posted on Instagram a while ago, featuring fruit daifuku. I was curious about it, so I went in with my friend. We got them to go and cut them with octopus thread at home!! ☆Wenzhou Mandarin 580 yen A visually stunning Wenzhou mandarin!! The juicy Wenzhou mandarin paired with a soft daifuku is delicious (*´∀`*) ☆Peach 780 yen A juicy white peach inside~ wrapped in a soft daifuku as well, and delicious (*´∀`*) Thank you for the meal (*´∀人)

I happened to discover this place and visited in the late afternoon at around 2 pm. Most of the items were sold out, and there were only 5 varieties left. I purchased three fruits: a mikan for 580 yen, a kiwi for 550 yen, and a gold kiwi for 680 yen. Quite pricey! When I got home, I read the instructions on how to eat them and was able to cut them nicely with a string. I tried the kiwi, but it turned out that the inside was mostly kiwi, with a thin coating of white bean paste and mochi. It was a delicious treat.

Fruit daifuku! I wanted to eat my favorite fig daifuku! This is no longer just a daifuku. It's a fruit. I wonder if the fig can be eaten with the skin on? It's wrapped in white bean paste and mochi, with the white bean paste subtly enhancing the fruit. It's more like a fruit than a daifuku! A luxurious Japanese sweet. It would be a great conversation piece or gift. Thank you for the meal!

Recently, I visited a shop in Honmachi, Nagoya, which I often see on Instagram. The shop is located on a main street and looks very clean and neat. They had a display of beautifully arranged sweets, and I chose the smaller version of the "Amaou" strawberry daifuku. There are two sizes available, and I opted for the smaller one. The mochi was thin, the red bean paste was not too sweet, and the proportion of fruit in the daifuku was quite large, allowing you to fully enjoy the deliciousness of the fruit itself. There is also a clever trick where you can cut the daifuku with the included string to create a beautiful cross-section, perfect for social media posts. It may be a bit pricey, but it was delicious. I think it would make a great gift. Thank you for the meal!

I bought 4 fruit daifuku. Even though they were expensive, they only had one string each... and the string broke on the first one. What should I do now? The taste is just average! Actually, the mochi of the daifuku is too hard. Hard mochi in daifuku is not good. Maybe everyone buys it because the cross-section looks nice and stands out. That's probably the only reason. The string broke on the first one (laughs). Even though they are expensive, having only one string for each daifuku means the different fruit flavors mix together. No matter how you look at it, for this product, one string for each daifuku should be normal, right? I'm glad I tried it myself before taking it to the customer.

I went on a morning udon tour in Honmachi and ate to my heart's content~♪ I parked my car at a roadside parking lot on Chuo Dori for 300 yen per hour, so I have 15 minutes left. As I hurried back 800 meters, I found "Kakuozan Fruit Daifuku Bensaiten Osaka Honmachi Store" at the corner of the intersection. Established in the first year of Reiwa in Nagoya Kakuozan, "Kakuozan Fruit Daifuku Bensaiten" has grown to 50 stores in less than two years and is currently the hottest fruit daifuku specialty store. The reason for its popularity is the vibrant appearance, the use of carefully selected fruits, and the "original mochi cutting thread" with a cutting thread for a picture-perfect cross-section. Using this method to cut the daifuku has quickly gained popularity. There are 5 stores in Osaka, and after Golden Week in May, a "Minamimorimachi Store" will open along National Route 1, just a 2-minute walk from my home. It's 5 minutes until opening time. My friend lined up at the front of the store, and I went to pick up the car and move it in front of the store. The fruits daifuku we got are ◆Mandarin 780 yen ◆Yumenoka 480 yen ◆Domestic Kiwi 550 yen. My friend chose the white strawberry "Dansetsu" for 680 yen, musk melon for 780 yen, and mango for 680 yen, but they were all a bit pricey. The promised cutting thread was included, and we enjoyed them as a snack at 3 o'clock. This is the third time I have used a cutting thread, following "iroHa" with "Colorful Daifuku" in February at Namba Underground Shopping Street and "Fruit Daifuku Maruhime" at Minamimorimachi Intersection in March. I chose the red strawberry "Yumenoka," the yellow citrus "Mandarin," and the green "Domestic Kiwi" to match the traffic light colors, and the cut surface was so beautiful and eye-catching. Of course, all of them were juicy and fresh, with a modest sweetness, wrapped in a refined mochi made with high-quality white bean paste and premium double-layered flour. The fruit daifuku is amazing! I plan to upload this review on May 6th (Thursday), the opening day of "Kakuozan Fruit Daifuku Bensaiten Minamimorimachi," and be the first to post it on Tabelog. However, I have to go to the orthopedic clinic that has been closed for GW and hear the results of the MRI for sciatic nerve pain, so I have to give up and wait until the store calms down before going to buy. Thank you for the meal (●^o^●)

In April 2021, after enjoying some morning udon in my town, I stumbled upon "Kakuozan Fruit Daifuku Bensaiten"! I was surprised to see it had arrived in Osaka! Upon further research, I found out that they have branches in Shitennoji, Umeda Herbis ENT, and they are planning to open in Minamimorimachi and Tezukayama Shitennoji approach as well. I entered the shop as soon as it opened at 10 am. The lineup for the day included various fruits such as domestic blood oranges, dekopon, mandarin, Dansetsu, Yumenoka, ripe mango, ripe pineapple, musk melon, domestic kiwi, and apples. They all looked delicious (hard decision). Last time I visited their shop in Nagoya, they had unique fruits like Hamamatsu Star Ruby and Nagano Purple, which are specific to the Chubu region. I wonder if it's because of the season. This time, I bought three varieties: Dansetsu for 680 yen, musk melon for 780 yen, and mango for 680 yen. I enjoyed them at home right away. The perfect ratio of mochi, fruit, and white bean paste. Both the freshness of the fruit and the sweetness of the paste were delightful, making it the ultimate fruit daifuku. Among the ones I bought, I think the musk melon was my favorite. Thank you for the delicious treats! They will be coming to Higashitenma in May, so I plan to check them out again.
