釣りするカツオに食べるカツオ
First day of desk work in Sakaisuji-Honmachi! After having curry lunch at the curry specialty restaurant Shirogane-Tei Itobiru store with a colleague, we parted ways and I went to withdraw some money. On the way, I spotted figs, which are my husband and I's favorite! I immediately decided to visit Kakuo-san Fruit Daifuku Bensaiten Osaka Hommachi store. I found out that besides Honmachi, they also have stores in Shitennoji, Umeda Herbis, Minamimorimachi, and Tezukayama/Shitennoji Omotesando. The address of Kakuo-san Fruit Daifuku Bensaiten Osaka Hommachi store is 3-3-5 Minamihonmachi, Chuo-ku, Osaka, a 5-minute walk from Osaka Metro "Hommachi Station". I thoroughly disinfected my hands with alcohol sanitizer before entering the store. With permission from the staff, I took some photos and found the figs! When I asked the staff for figs, they said they were sold out. I learned that if the name tag is fallen, it means the product is either not in stock or sold out. Figs are a popular seasonal item and even if they are restocked, they sell out in the morning. Therefore, I decided to make a reservation to pick them up after work the next day! By the way, I asked, "What are the prices for the three sizes of figs?" and was told that the price varies depending on the size of the figs inside. The sizes available now are small and medium, and I reserved the small ones to pick up at 6 PM after work the next day! The next day, after finishing work in Sakaisuji-Honmachi, I visited the store! I added kiwi to the reserved figs! After paying the bill, I thanked the staff and left Kakuo-san Fruit Daifuku Bensaiten Osaka Hommachi store. The next day, I woke up early and... Kiwi is available year-round, while figs are a summer to fall product! It's nice that the product names are written on the nylon wrapping! You won't know what's inside the daifuku until you cut it (^_^;) I cut it in half with the enclosed string, arranged it, took photos under the sun, and enjoyed them! Both were juicy and delicious! The kiwi was the best my husband had this year! Truly the best with the white bean paste and high-quality double-layered mochi used for the daifuku! Husband, thank you for the meal! It was delicious!
