Hello February! Today, I arrived earlier than the meeting time for the irregular event "Famikichi Famikura Strolling Drink for Two!" so I decided to do some reconnaissance around the station for Famikura senpai who hasn't arrived yet. I did a lap around the station and ended up having a pre-drink by myself here! (laughs) Kaki fry for 450 yen and draft beer for 350 yen. The draft beer prices around here were about this much, but I felt the kaki fry was a bit expensive. Oh well, let's just laugh it off! (*^^*) According to a review I saw on Tabelog by the predecessor Arihiro-san, it seems this place was started by a husband and wife, but it's no longer standing-only and the prices have gone up a bit! There wasn't a beautiful wife around either... but time has passed, so it's understandable (bitter smile). The husband is friendly and the food is not bad! This small shop opened in July 2010, realized by a couple who were former surfers. It started as a standing bar, but eventually chairs were added, making it a sit-down place. However, prices remain the same as standing prices, so it's incredibly cheap! A draft beer costs only 300 yen, and if your bill exceeds 3,000 yen, you must be quite a drinker. The couple who run the shop are very friendly. Despite the chairs, it's best to drink quickly and leave, as the prices are so low it almost seems pitiful.
