I visited a fruit daifuku shop in Namba on my day off. I bought a strawberry daifuku! The strawberry was juicy and the daifuku skin was soft and chewy, very delicious (*^^*) I would like to try a different daifuku next time ＼(^-^)／ Thank you for the meal♪

I've been keeping an eye on the vacant tenant near my office since the construction started. It seems like a new restaurant is opening there called "Fruit Daifuku"... But wait, it's not my jurisdiction! However, my friend was curious so we tried the persimmon (560 yen) there. They offered a 100 yen discount for following them on Instagram. The persimmon had a crunchy texture, the skin was soft and fluffy, and the white bean paste inside was quite sweet. Personally, I would have preferred it to be a bit less sweet. My friend even wrote a comment for the restaurant on Tabelog. They are currently offering a seasonal limited edition "Kishu Kino River Persimmon" which is black and sweet. Recently opened fruit daifuku shop. It is located between Namba and Shinsaibashi, closer to Namba on Midosuji. The shop has a stylish look with a glass interior that allows you to see inside. There is no seating inside, only for takeout. Inside, there are many attractive examples of fruit daifuku with delicious cross-sections of fruits on display. Some fruits used in the daifuku were surprising. There are seasonal fruits available, currently persimmon. Kiwi, which I was interested in, was sold out. I purchased three daifuku - one each of strawberry, mango, and mixed fruits, for 1,800 yen. A bit pricey considering the usual price of daifuku, but maybe the fruits used are high-end. They put the three daifuku in a box when I ordered. I chose a yellow wrapping paper for home use, although they asked me to choose. It would be perfect for a gift. I paid with a credit card, foreign payment service, or cash - no Japanese e-money was accepted. Inside the box, there was a string. As stated in the pamphlet, it seems you are supposed to enjoy the cross-section before eating. I tried but found it quite challenging. The mixed fruit one was particularly difficult, as I could only see the strawberry. However, seeing the fruits inside does make it more exciting to eat! As for the taste, the daifuku skin was very soft, and the white bean paste was elegant. I felt the fruits were a bit lacking... I expected a stronger fruit flavor. Maybe if I had eaten it whole, I would have felt more of the fruit. It's very elegant and delicious, but considering the price and size, it might be a bit expensive for a regular snack. However, as a gift, it is stylish and cute, so it would probably be well-received.

"Mikan Daifuku" =========== This restaurant offers delicious food at a reasonable price.

They serve a giant muscat soft serve ice cream topped with sliced strawberries, with a counter inside for ordering and eating in. They also offer fruit soft serve ice cream and gold leaf soft serve ice cream. The main attraction is like a fruit daifuku, and they even provide a string to cut it with.

Fruit daifuku \(^o^)/ I received this as a souvenir. It's beautifully wrapped \(^o^)/ I'm so happy \(^o^)/ There are 6 pieces in total: pineapple, mandarin orange, strawberry, kiwi, shine muscat, and mixed fruit. There's a string included to cut the daifuku. Let's cut it. Oops, I cut the mandarin orange one the wrong way (lol). The cross-section looks beautiful. The soft mochi, mildly sweet red bean paste, and juicy fruits are delicious. And they are big and beautiful \(^o^)/ This is great. It was delicious (^ ^) I feel so happy (o^^o)

The soft serve ice cream was rich and delicious!
