I lined up for a bit before entering the store! The shop was located in a very easy-to-find place. It was worth the wait! I ordered the classic takoyaki with big chunks of octopus. The ordering was done through a QR code. The takoyaki was brought to me quite quickly after ordering. It was fluffy and delicious. The interior of the shop was a bit small but had a cozy atmosphere. I would love to go back when I visit Osaka again.

Soft and fluffy Osaka-style takoyaki shop with a mochi-like texture, different from the Kanto-style like Gindaco which is fried. The takoyaki here is not fried, giving it a chewy and slightly gooey texture. You can adjust the flavor to your liking with the sauce and bonito flakes on the table. The octopus pieces are moderately sized with a slightly subtle presence.

The takoyaki was delicious anyway!! It had been a long time since I had eaten authentic takoyaki. The huge octopus at the shop was very impressive!! The taste of the takoyaki was like "the Osaka style" with flavors of dashi, and it was very delicious! I was curious about how they achieved that softness in the takoyaki! The size of the octopus was also perfect!!

Osaka, of course, as well as various places in the Kanto region, you can see the main store of a shop that you often come across. Many tourists were seen taking photos of the shop as they passed by. The entrance was divided into takeaway and dining in, and this time I chose to dine in. The interior of the shop was quite spacious and comfortable. They mentioned that they add a touch of white wine as a secret ingredient. With the location of Dotonbori, we enjoyed the takoyaki and highball very deliciously, making it a good memory.

The takeout at "Kukuru Dotonbori Main Store" has a long line, but after waiting for about 10 minutes, I was surprised to find the interior relatively empty. It's a truly famous restaurant. The takoyaki is a bit pricey, but it's no longer considered just a casual snack. It's a part of Osaka's culture. After waiting for about 20 minutes, everyone's ordered takoyaki, priced at 920 yen excluding tax, arrived. I tried one and it was delicious. However, my real favorite is the "Akashiyaki." I waited for it anxiously, and after 40 minutes from ordering, the Akashiyaki, also priced at 920 yen excluding tax, arrived. It came with three servings of broth, which made me think it was meant for sharing. It was exactly what I wanted to eat. Dipping it in the broth made it even more delicious. This place is recommended for those who have plenty of time and a relaxed mindset.

I tried a popular set of 4 takoyaki flavors: butter soy sauce, cheese sauce, mentaiko mayo sauce, and sauce mayonnaise. The takoyaki itself was fluffy and delicious, but personally, I found all the sauces to be too rich. It would have been better if they were made with a lighter salt or dashi flavor. Thank you for the meal.

While walking around the Dotonbori area, I started to feel a little hungry. I entered a takoyaki shop that I had been wanting to try. My throat was dry, so I decided to order a beer. Unfortunately, the takoyaki I wanted was sold out. I ended up getting a large octopus takoyaki and a negi Akashiyaki instead. The takoyaki was fluffy and had a delicious flavor. The octopus was not too big, just normal size. The broth in the Akashiyaki was also delicious. My hunger was satisfied, so I'll move on to the next place. Thank you for the meal.

My favorite takoyaki restaurant "Kukuru" ❤️ When I go to Osaka, I eat so much takoyaki that people ask me how much I can eat. (Probably around 20-30 pieces haha) I've tried various takoyaki, but Kukuru's takoyaki is still my favorite. It's hot, melty, and just the best. Recently, I heard they have a shop in Tokyo too, so I sometimes can't resist and go there, but Osaka is still the best! haha I'll definitely go again ☺️ Thank you for the meal!

I visited the restaurant around 4 pm during idol time, and about 70-80% of the seats were filled. The takoyaki was a bit pricey, with one boat of 8 pieces costing 979 yen. I tried to order their special "Surprise Takoyaki" where the octopus legs stick out, but at over 1,800 yen for 8 pieces, I gave up. Instead, I opted for the "Half & Half" with 4 pieces each for 1,496 yen, along with a beer. I usually like takoyaki with a crispy outside and creamy inside, but this one was soft and fluffy, almost falling apart when pierced with a toothpick. The batter was flavorful with a strong dashi taste, making sauce unnecessary. The octopus pieces were surprisingly large, even in the regular takoyaki. The finishing touches of sauce, mayonnaise, seaweed, and bonito flakes were left to the customers to add at their tables. It was a unique experience to enjoy takoyaki with beer in a cool indoor setting, contrasting the usual image of eating hot takoyaki outdoors in the summer heat. The restaurant is located next to the Glico sign in Dotonbori, facing the street with a view of the Dotonbori river through a takoyaki-shaped display.

First visit to the main store of Kukuru. It may be superficial, but I really like Kukuru's takoyaki and used to buy it often at Shin-Osaka Station. The sound of "main store" is appealing to me. You can also buy it in Tokyo, but there is something different (skill?) that makes it incredibly delicious. The jumbo octopus is the best. It may be a bit pricey, but I am satisfied with this taste. Moments like this make me think Osaka is great.

I had some time to spare, so I wandered around Dotonbori and decided to eat something Osaka-like. Osaka equals takoyaki, so I chose a nearby original store called "Kukuru". It was my first time experiencing takeout, and I noticed that the takeout line and the dine-in line were separate. Since it was past 4 PM, there was no line for dining in. After being seated, I scanned the QR code with my smartphone and ordered from there. Many items were already sold out when I checked the menu. I ordered the classic "takoyaki with big octopus inside". It arrived in just over 10 minutes, and it seemed like you had to add your own sauce and toppings to complete it. I tried one without adding sauce first on purpose. Despite being cooked, it was soft and the taste was a bit vague. Then, I tried another one with sauce and toppings, and it was significantly delicious with a sense of unity. The octopus inside was incredibly tender and didn't leave any leftovers, creating a sense of unity with the dough. I usually like crispy takoyaki, but I might become a fan of this opposite style as well.

I felt like eating takoyaki, so I visited Kukuru-san's takoyaki shop. I waited in line for about 10 minutes. It felt like true Osaka takoyaki. It was very delicious. There were also many people from foreign countries.

I was torn between Akashiyaki and Takoyaki, but since it was my first time, I decided to go with Takoyaki. The taste was about a 4-star, just your typical delicious Takoyaki. However, the prices are quite high, maybe due to the location. They offer both dine-in and takeout options! Dine-in is more expensive. It's located near a bakery and a ramen shop, giving it a food court-like atmosphere.

During my trip back home, I made a stop in Osaka and decided to try the famous takoyaki at a well-known takoyaki shop called "Kukuru" for the first time. Despite the long line due to Golden Week, I waited for about 20 minutes before getting inside. I ordered an 8-piece takoyaki and enjoyed it right there in the shop. The takoyaki had large pieces of octopus inside and the taste was exquisite. I had felt unsatisfied with the takoyaki I had last year at a different shop in Osaka, but this time I was able to truly savor the takoyaki.

On a holiday around 12:30, two of us visited the restaurant. The takeout line was long, and there were about 5 groups waiting inside. We entered after 1:00. The restaurant had counter seats, table seats, and tatami seats. There were many empty seats, and the atmosphere was calm. We were given water, disposable chopsticks, and wet towels, and we were instructed to order using a QR code. There were also paper menus available. After placing our order, we waited for a while and then our takoyaki arrived. It was fluffy and soft, almost falling apart when picked up with chopsticks. We ordered two different kinds, which turned out to be just the right amount for the two of us. After finishing our meal, we paid at the register. I had been wanting to eat takoyaki at the classic Kukuru when I came to Osaka, so I was very satisfied. It was nice to relax and enjoy the food inside the restaurant, although eating outside would have been good too. [Order] - Surprised Takoyaki - Mentaiko Cheese Takoyaki

On Sunday around noon, I waited for about 30 minutes just to get inside the restaurant. There was a long line for takeout. It seemed crowded, and the broth for the Akashiyaki was cold, which was a bit disappointing compared to when I had it before. However, the actual dish was still delicious.

When I visited Osaka, I went to this place. You can buy and eat their food outside, but this time I ate inside. Whether you eat inside or outside, you have to wait for about an hour. It's a popular place! The reason I ate inside was because I wanted to try Akashiyaki! I ate fluffy takoyaki dipped in broth for the first time. I was surprised by how delicious it was! Of course, the regular takoyaki was also fluffy and delicious! I want to eat the crispy takoyaki from another store alternately with this one! It was such a dish!

We lined up in two rows for takeout and eat-in. We ordered through a QR code. We went around 7pm and many items on the menu were sold out, but we were able to try two beige dishes, which was good. The takoyaki was fluffy and delicious, although it was gone quickly.

Fluffy and tender! I have tried takoyaki from various shops, but Kukuru's is exceptional. The sauce is rich and the batter has a delicious flavor of dashi and red pickled ginger. Even though I wasn't very hungry that day, I had a small 6-piece serving, which was so tasty that I wanted to eat more even after finishing all 6 pieces.

It used to be the place I visited every year during the New Year holidays when I went back home. Back then, the atmosphere was lively, with a few people making takoyaki while cheerfully greeting customers passing by. We enjoyed the freshly made takoyaki with delight. However, this time, we had to wait for 50 minutes in the cold winter air to be seated in a nearly empty, colder-than-outside restaurant. The lukewarm, soggy takoyaki that eventually arrived after a long wait was disappointing. Three plates of takoyaki cost 3000 yen. I don't think I will ever go back there again, which is really unfortunate.
