On my day off, I noticed a shop while driving and decided to stop by. The shop is a fruit daifuku specialty store called "Kajitsu no Hana," located about a 5-minute walk from Tamatsukuri Station on the Osaka Loop Line. It seems to have opened on May 29, 2021. After a short wait, I entered the store and found various fruit daifuku such as strawberry, pink grapefruit, kiwi, melon, orange, and more. Each piece costs around 500 yen, so I didn't buy too many, but I purchased a few. They were neatly packed in a box inside a paper bag. The lineup of products at "Kajitsu no Hana" on that day included melon, orange, pineapple, mixed fruit, and shine muscat. I bought these five varieties. The fruit daifuku had a beautiful cross-section to enjoy, with a mochi cutting string attached. I tried the melon first, then the orange, pineapple, and shine muscat. The mixed fruit included strawberry, pineapple, and kiwi. Not only were they visually appealing, but they were also delicious, with the main fruit being sweet and juicy, complemented perfectly by the lightly sweetened thin mochi. I would like to try different varieties next time.
