This is a standing bar featured in Sakai Walker (KADOKAWA 2014) with a very atmospheric exterior. The liquor sales area and standing bar seem to be separate, with different entrances. The interior is small with only counter seats, but it's cozy enough to sit down. They offer large bottled beers from Asahi or Kirin. I chose Asahi to toast to a fun weekend starting tomorrow. The oden served here includes the classic daikon and egg, both with a delicate flavor. The regular customers present on this day were quite friendly, engaging in pleasant conversations and even discussing current events. It's rare to find such a welcoming atmosphere in a standing bar. I decided to order an additional glass of Yoshino cedar barrel sake (with sediment), which was surprisingly delicious. The total bill for a large bottle of beer, two oden items, and the sake came to 890 yen. It was a fun drinking experience, and I left with a clear head to catch the subway to my next destination.
