I decided to visit "Takoya Dotombori Kukuru" on the B2F of Hakata Daimaru. The time was 17:55. This restaurant usually has around 8 counter seats that are always full, so I have often given up trying to eat here. However, this time, to my surprise, there were no other customers and I got lucky. I ordered the "Takoyaki 8 pieces (740 yen, tax included)". The service was incredibly fast, and the takoyaki was served immediately after ordering. The takoyaki was piping hot and the texture was fluffy with a creamy filling that almost made me choke. The flavor of the dashi from the dough combined with the deliciousness of the octopus inside made it a truly exceptional dish. There were sauces, mayonnaise, and bonito flakes on the counter, allowing you to adjust the flavor to your liking. It was incredibly delicious. I would rate it 3.8 stars for taste alone. I also ordered a draft beer (550 yen) which was served in a plastic cup that made it look a bit cheap. While the takoyaki was delicious, the price was a bit high. It was comparable to the price of a regular lunch. It's delicious, but a bit pricey. I would consider it more of a treat. Thank you for the meal.

I got tired from buying a cake at Daimaru for Christmas, so I took a break (^｡^)❗️ It was my first time eating at the shop, but the freshly baked cake was amazing ( ◠‿◠ )‼️ I usually get takeout from Kukuru, but eating it fresh out of the oven made me even more hooked on Kukuru's deliciousness (#^.^#)‼️ I noticed they also have draft beer...(^_^) I couldn't resist and ended up enjoying beer with my meal, feeling very satisfied (^_−)−☆‼️

Today, I wanted to eat Akashiyaki so I visited the restaurant, but they said they were sold out. Instead, I tried takoyaki which was delicious with a gooey inside and large pieces of octopus. The last time I had Akashiyaki was when I lived in Himeji. I also enjoyed shopping in the shopping street, attending the Himeji Castle Town Festival, and visiting Tsuruyama Park in Tsuyama when the cherry blossoms were in full bloom. It was really beautiful, similar to Mount Asuka in Awaji. I wanted to ride the Asukarugo, but the line was too long so I gave up. The adjacent Mizube Park had a great atmosphere and I really liked it. I would love to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

They were served in just 2-3 minutes. The takoyaki were of a standard size, crispy on the outside, and creamy on the inside. The sauce and mayonnaise are self-served by customers, so they don't get soggy. The takoyaki can be enjoyed even without the sauce. The flavor was good with a strong dashi taste. The portion of red pickled ginger was just right, and the octopus was decent in size and flavor. Personally, I found the sauce a bit too sweet. The pricing is a bit high, but compared to my experience in Osaka three years ago, it's much better. Overall, I highly recommend the takoyaki at this place."

I stopped by Kukuru, located in the basement of Daimaru Fukuoka Tenjin store, for a snack. Instead of the usual akashiyaki, I decided to go for takoyaki today. It's a bit bigger than the ones I usually eat! It's fluffy, with a big piece of octopus inside. The batter has a strong flavor and is delicious.

When shopping at Daimaru, even though I'm not hungry, I always feel like stopping by to eat haha. There are few seats, so it's often hard to find a place to sit, but it's relatively easier in the evening. The takoyaki is delicious, but I prefer akashiyaki ⭐️ I'll definitely visit again.

I got off at Tenjin Minami Station and remembered there was a takoyaki shop at Daimaru, so I decided to stop by. The shop seemed smaller after renovation, but it was not crowded at that time. The takoyaki was freshly made, fluffy with big pieces of octopus, and delicious. I opted for 6 pieces for 500 yen. It's a good option for a light snack when you're not too hungry. I also recalled visiting the same shop in September 2014 and September 2012 for a similar experience. Overall, it's a convenient and affordable choice for a quick bite.
