In the afternoon, while around Higo Bridge, I felt like having a delicious cup of coffee. I visited this place that I had been curious about ever since reading reviews from my favorite reviewers, Ichiro-san and Naochen-san. Upon entering, I found a very unique space. The seating consisted of tables and chairs that looked like dark brown painted school desks, placed in pairs in a spacious concrete area. The back of the shop had full-length glass windows overlooking the Jingu Park, with a separate entrance from the park side. It seemed like a trendy cafe where creatives gather along the Jingu Park. Although there were no seats by the window, you could still enjoy the view through the staff area. I ordered the Izzo Americano, which was served in a paper cup at a special price of 320 yen that day. The coffee, made with a professional espresso machine, had a deep and delicious flavor with fine aroma, without any bitterness. It would have been better if it was served in a ceramic cup, but maybe it was due to the special pricing that day. The shop also sold various coffee machines, tableware, and beans, showing their dedication to coffee. It was a delightful experience. Menu ordered: Izzo Americano 320 yen.

After having lunch, I felt like having some coffee. I went to a cafe next to the restaurant where I had lunch and ordered an Espresso Doppio (double). It took quite some time for the coffee to be served. In Italy, Espresso is a quick drink for people on the go, meant to be consumed quickly like a shot of coffee. Here, I was able to enjoy it slowly. The Espresso that arrived was really good. The cup was just to my liking. The cup must be perfectly round, yes, the most simple shape, a circle, yet full of wonder. When I lifted the coffee cup to drink, I noticed that there was a hole in the saucer. I was curious about its function. As for the taste, the aroma was deep, with hints of coffee bean oils, cocoa, and a deep roast. The creamy foam was delightful. The bitterness was smooth, not overpowering. The cafe near Utsubo Park seemed to attract a lot of women on their day off. The north side of Utsubo Park offered a beautiful view of greenery from the counter. The interior was clean and white. The staff consisted of two casual men. The audio system added a stylish touch to the atmosphere. The tables and chairs had a slightly nostalgic feel, like those from a middle school. The cakes looked delicious too. The people I was with also praised the delicious cappuccino. Thank you for the meal.

"The coffee introduced in the book is from Italy, while the tea is from England, specifically 'Yorkshire House Tea.' The Bodum cups come with a tea strainer for loose leaf tea. The timing for taking it out is notified by a timer, and it costs 480 yen. However, on weekdays from 12 to 2 pm, the tea or coffee of the day is only 340 yen. The atmosphere is stylish with a monochrome theme, which is not exactly my favorite, but the staff are warm and friendly."

The other day, I visited a cafe next to a shrine and had a hard time deciding which shop to enter. The entrance to the shop is through a passage in the building, and you can see the greenery of Utsubo Park in the back. Since I had already had lunch, I decided to visit for a coffee break. Inside the shop, there were simple tables and chairs that looked like they were from a middle school. There were fresh roses arranged in the shop, giving off a rich Damask scent. Near the window, there were flower pots with unfamiliar flowers. When I asked, I found out they were endangered species of original Fuji Bakama flowers. They were elegant and beautiful. As I wandered around the flowers, my cappuccino for 520 yen was brought to the table. I also ordered a cute ghost cookie for 150 yen. The cappuccino was average, and the ghost cookie had a cinnamon scent. When I mentioned that I wanted to eat cake but was scolded during a health check-up, the owner said he was also advised to cut back on alcohol. It was nice to hear that we both had similar health concerns. The chocolates were sold in bags with British one penny stamps, which was interesting. One of the owners is British, so they use one penny stamps. In addition to the cafe, they also offer various flower-related classes such as flower arrangement and making perfumes. I received a pamphlet for their "flower classroom" and might try attending a flower arrangement class next time. Lastly, they do not serve lunch at this cafe.

We met up at the fountain in Uemine Park without any particular destination in mind. We initially tried to find a place to have tea in the direction of Boulangerie Takeuchi, but couldn't find one. We then stumbled upon a cafe inside the park, where we could directly enter from the park. We ordered a fruit tart, cappuccino, an apple and lemon cake, and a cafe au lait, which all came to a total of 1,080 yen each. The fruit tart was delicious with a nice balance of sweetness in the crust. The apple and lemon cake tasted like a yogurt or cheesecake. The cappuccino was a bit weak. The cafe had a lovely atmosphere with white walls and black study desks, which brought back nostalgic memories. Sitting on wooden chairs may be uncomfortable for long periods, but they are convenient and practical.

On August 20, 2011, after enjoying delicious shaved ice at Cocoo cafe, I headed to the VADE MECVM showroom #2, a nice cafe that seemed to be influenced by the UK and Italian styles. This unique concept showroom in Japan showcases the original world of the UK artist group VADE MECVM. The stylish space features exposed concrete walls and minimal lighting, with a view of the lush greenery of the Jingu Park through large glass windows. The furniture, black-painted school desks and chairs, adds a cool touch to the space. I ordered an "Izzo Cappuccino" and a "Victoria" sponge cake, both delicious and fitting for the UK and Italian vibes. The cakes are from the popular patisserie Broadhurst, ensuring great taste. The tableware is from the Danish brand Bodum, adding to the stylish atmosphere. The staff provides efficient and friendly service, making it a recommended spot for those looking for a trendy cafe to enjoy.

Number two came with a friend. The interior is white and black, with relaxing music playing, creating a nice atmosphere. It's a bit quiet, so not ideal for large groups, but great for 1-2 people. Ordered a hot cafe au lait and a chocolate cake. It cost 1000 yen for both, so not cheap, but the cake was rich and filling. It's probably best to avoid eating right after a meal. Took our time eating and drinking, and before we knew it, 1.5 hours had passed. It was a nice flow of atmosphere. If someone said, "I know a great cafe," and brought you here, you might be really impressed. They also serve alcohol.

A typical cafe in a modern setting, facing Utsubo Park with full glass windows. It has been in operation for 3 years. Inside, there are counter seats and table seats in a stylish space with a digital feel. The menu mainly consists of British-style cakes and coffee. The cakes are traditional and a bit pricey, mostly over 500 yen. The coffee options include flavored and straight coffee, with the straight coffee being reasonably priced in the 300 yen range. I ordered a straight coffee, which had a slightly bitter taste. Before leaving, I bought a Christmas limited edition gateau for 400 yen, which had a rum-soaked mixed fruit filling with a strong grape flavor. The gateau had a nice texture and rich taste, but I questioned if it was worth the price.

I had been curious about this place for a while but never had the chance to go. Recently, I had the opportunity to stop by. There were mostly women customers. Since it was past lunchtime, I only had coffee this time. I had a tuna sandwich and a cafe Americano. The coffee had a strong bitterness that I think even coffee enthusiasts would enjoy. The tuna paired well with the honey mustard and was very delicious. I was worried about the sweetness, but it wasn't an issue at all. The bread itself was tasty and crispy. The sandwich was wrapped in a very cute way, making it a nice gift idea. I would like to go back alone next time.

The concrete interior of Dachippanashi is linear compared to the neighboring Midori. The skeleton-like interior also serves as a gallery, with chairs and tables on display. When ordering a single espresso, you'll have to stand at the island kitchen-like counter to enjoy it, so if you prefer to sit, it's better to order a double (320 yen). The espresso, enjoyed while overlooking Utsubo Park, is made using beans from IZZO in Naples, offering a subtly bitter and refreshing taste. Served in stylish cups called "Hole-in-One," which are also available for purchase. They also offer tableware from Denmark's Bodum. In addition to freshly ground espresso, their made-to-order soups are recommended. The spinach soup, made with onions, potatoes, and milk, has a simple, rustic flavor that may not suit everyone's taste, but allows you to savor the flavors of each ingredient and is good for the body. Served with plenty of croutons for 450 yen, it could even be a breakfast on its own. Open from 8 am, it's recommended to stop by before commuting. This place is likely to become another one of my favorite spots for a quick visit.

A modern café and gallery with exposed concrete walls, visible from Utsubo Park. The large windows facing the park make the interior bright and open. The tables and chairs are repainted versions of those used in junior high school, bringing back nostalgic memories. I ordered a cappuccino and a chocolate cake. The kitchen was so stylish, I wish my own kitchen looked like that! The espresso machine was cool! A few foreign customers were enjoying the café, making me feel like I was abroad. The cappuccino was delicious, and it was a stylish café that was perfect for a city park.

I came here after a long time. Last time I visited, the place was quite crowded, but this time on a weekday evening, it was empty. I ordered an iced cafe latte for 520 yen and a cheesecake for 420 yen. The cheesecake had a round pie crust and was lightly warmed. It crumbled easily and tasted like madeleine with butter and lemon. I've had regular cream cheese cheesecake before, but this pie version was tastier. You can also add vanilla ice cream for an extra charge. The cafe latte came in a cute, stylish cup and was delicious. The interior of the cafe looks like a school classroom, which is somewhat unsettling but the view of the greenery from Utsubo Park is comforting. The staff were a bit cold, but maybe it matches the atmosphere of the place. The prices are on the higher side, but it's a place where you can show off that you know a trendy cafe.

In early September, on a hot summer day with temperatures exceeding 30 degrees, I discovered an oasis on my way from Utsubo Park to Honmachi. I ordered a double espresso and a chocolate gâteau. Although I usually don't drink these, I found them to be decent. The cappuccino also looked delicious. The chocolate gâteau was rich and had a strong sweetness. The interior of the shop had a minimalist design with concrete walls and no unnecessary pillars or partitions. Sitting in a chair facing Utsubo Park, I could see the efficient kitchen, the brisk movements of the barista, and a view of the park through the window. It would have been better if the restroom at Utsubo Park was not visible, but it can't be helped.

I visited this cafe in Utsubo Park that I had been curious about for a while. I was greeted by a lovely waiter who seemed to come out of a magazine, which made me a little nervous. They were grinding coffee beans in the store, so I decided to have coffee. When I looked at the menu, I saw beans from various regions, and the waiter kindly explained each one to me. The coffee that came out was stylish, just like the waiter and the glass. It was delicious as well, as they chose it according to my taste. You can see Utsubo Park from inside the shop, and the window design is wonderful, like a big photo with green trees, blue sky, and dazzling light. It feels like being in an art gallery and is very soothing. The shop displays artworks depending on the season and holds events, so I plan to participate next time. It's a wonderful cafe where you can leisurely read a book with a cup of coffee, secretly admire the waiter, and find happiness in a busy day by taking a moment to stop and relax.

No, should we say they are using the space extravagantly? The interior of the store facing Utsubo Park is fully covered in glass, bright and spacious. The large white object with strings was impressive. For some reason, the tables and chairs were painted in a dark brown color, resembling school desks and chairs. I had a café latte, which I thought was just okay. They also recommend their baked goods, but I didn't try them. I hope a good café opens around here.

It's not a typical Osaka-style restaurant. The atmosphere is quite unique. You can see the park through the large windows, making it very open and spacious! The cakes are from Tamatsukuri Broadhurst, so the taste is guaranteed (lol). The service is like a restaurant, even though it's a cafe, so it feels a bit formal. But there's a pleasant feeling of negative ions in the air. Nearby, there are famous bakeries like Takeuchi and Takagi, as well as cafes like Vitch Cafe and Earth Cafe, so you can enjoy yourself all day if you come with an empty stomach (lol).

Facing the park is CAFE-GALLERY. Four friends visited on a Sunday afternoon. The café is small, but the seating area is spacious and the relaxed atmosphere makes it very comfortable. There are two staff members, an Italian man and a woman. [Ordered items] - Cappuccino 420 yen. The cappuccino was delicious, but the lemon-flavored water we were served first was also very tasty and refreshing, soothing our tired bodies. This is a recommended place to stop and relax during a walk.
