Today, my husband treated me to a meal at Sanzenri. We ordered beef tongue, upper hormone, kobukuro (pork tongue), and kimchi. I also wanted to eat white rice, so I ordered sagari (skirt meat) as well. The hormone was delicious, with no unpleasant smell or chewy texture. The beef tongue was just right, not too thin or too thick. I have a love-hate relationship with kobukuro, but we always order it here because it's crispy and tasty. The meat was well-prepared, with no unpleasant smell. The miso soup at the end was also great. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Hello everyone! While on a trip to Furano with my daughter during the holidays, we stopped by Ashibetsu to meet some relatives and decided to go to "Sanzenmiles" for a meal. It was hot outside, but the inside of the restaurant was heated by a charcoal grill, making it a bit uncomfortable for dining in during the summer. However, the place was bustling with customers ordering takeout, as it is a very popular spot. We started off with some beer and ordered a variety of grilled meats such as pork intestines, stomach, heart, sirloin, liver, beef tongue, ribs, and raw lamb. In Hokkaido, pork offal is a must-try and many people come here specifically for that. I highly recommend trying the pork heart, stomach, and sirloin! The "Shintan" dish, which is a mix of pork heart and tongue, offers a delightful combination of textures. The thick heart, chewy stomach, and crispy tongue create a festival of textures in your mouth. Oh, and don't forget to try the raw lamb - it was delicious! The meats are best enjoyed with a dipping sauce made of soy sauce, ginger, minced garlic, and sesame seeds. It pairs perfectly with a bowl of rice. If you're looking to eat grilled meats in Ashibetsu, this is the place to go! Thank you for the delicious meal!

Located near Ashibetsu Station, in a bustling area, this place offers traditional yakiniku! The sunken kotatsu seating is spacious and perfect for a leisurely meal. There is also a counter seating option. Known for their premium horumon (offal) dishes, this place holds special memories for my husband. Bringing along our newborn made dining on yakiniku a bit challenging, but they were understanding even when we played music on YouTube. Thank you! All the meat dishes are delicious. Cooking on the shichirin grill adds to the experience. While the horumon is a must-try, I personally recommend the tongue as well! It cooks quickly and the homemade sauce is tasty. I hope to revisit when my daughter is older and we can enjoy a more leisurely meal.

Located about a 5-minute walk from JR Ashibetsu Station, this yakiniku restaurant is situated in a corner of Ashibetsu's entertainment district. In the past, this area was bustling with many workers during the prosperity of the coal mines. I have visited this restaurant several times, and it is always crowded with many shops, often requiring reservations to dine in. A must-try is the upper horumon! The well-prepared meat with the perfect match of sauce flavor will make you reach for more beer and rice. The miso soup with egg, kimchi, and Genghis Khan are also highly recommended.

A great value delicious yakiniku restaurant. All the meat is tasty, but the chicken is especially outstanding. It's hard to believe it's really chicken! The miso soup with lots of beaten eggs is very filling. I wonder how they make the eggs so fluffy... All non-alcoholic drinks are only 200 yen, which is a great deal.

Hello everyone. This is Tabelog's first-year student. The recent earthquake made me realize the importance of being prepared and having good relationships with neighbors, which I used to think of as someone else's problem. Tourism is a crucial industry in our beloved Hokkaido! We need everyone to come and visit~
Now that the aftershocks have settled down, I'm heading to the central part of Hokkaido to check on the safety of my relatives. Let's go to Sanchimiles in Ashibetsu. Whenever we have a family BBQ, we order meat from here, but eating at the restaurant is the best experience. The interior is not as fancy as other trendy yakiniku places, but it has its own unique charm. Of course, let's toast to safety with a beer and dig in. The must-try items here are the upper horumon, shintan, and jingisukan, along with miso soup.
The upper horumon is meticulously cleaned and the layers of thick meat release a delicious juice when you bite into it. In Hokkaido, horumon usually refers to pork. Shintan is a mix of pork heart and tongue. When eating horumon or shintan, make sure to dip them generously in the ginger-flavored soy sauce, Sanchimiles' original spicy nanban sauce, fresh garlic, and white sesame. The miso soup may have too many eggs for my liking, but it has a nostalgic taste that pairs well with the meat and sauce.
For the fresh jingisukan, I recommend using salt and pepper instead of the sauce. If the charcoal fire is weak, there's a mysterious hairdryer on the table that you can use to boost the flames. This is a local "horumon shop" that has been around for decades, so don't ask about the quality of the meat when ordering kalbi. Be sure to try mixing the upper horumon with rice and enjoying it with plenty of egg miso soup. Bon appétit.

Welcome! I remembered someone who loves Rilakkuma saying, "When you come to Ashibetsu, you have to stop by!" Neesan was politely guided to a corner of a drinking district near JR Ashibetsu Station. The counter seats and raised seating area behind it are popular with families. The setting was taken care of by an old lady! In the back, a younger man, probably the second generation, was cutting meat. It was a rare sight and added to the charm of sitting at the counter. The menu was a bit pricier but still reasonable. Orders were flying around, with more calls for miso soup than meat from the grill. When asked for recommendations, Neesan and Baachan consulted with each other. A set was placed in front of me, and it was explained by a younger man. He seemed a bit shy. I wonder what this mini fan is used for... It makes noise constantly in the background. The mild sauce seemed like it would go well with anything. The spicy one was really spicy but also had a rich flavor. Sesame seeds were also provided, apparently necessary for the meat. Ashibetsu beef cooks quickly... Grill it, grill it! The upper hormone was thin, leaving some fat, juicy, and sweet with just the right seasoning! The miso sauce was mellow and sweet, further enhancing the sweetness of the hormone. The kalbi had a rubbing sauce with onions. Be careful, it cooks quickly if you take your eyes off it. It seemed a bit thin, but eating two pieces made it feel like eating kalbi! Although Sagari was recommended, I should have tried it as suggested. It's a well-known place, and even at an early hour, it was crowded with mostly middle-aged customers. The surrounding shuttered shops made it stand out even more. It's not often visited by people from outside the area, but it's a longstanding shop built on local bonds. Before I knew it, the surroundings were filled with a mist of meat. Thank you, it was a delicious meal!

Today I had work in Ashibetsu. I visited N Construction after a long time. After finishing the work, the leader took me to this place, "Ashibetsu Sannenri." It's just a regular yakiniku place, but Ashibetsu is like a home ground for me. I have visited here many times. However, this restaurant was one that I had only heard the name of but never visited before. As soon as I sat down, the leader taught me how to make the sauce. First, you put garlic in the sauce, then add gochujang and sesame to complete it. While making the sauce, the charcoal, glowing red, appeared. - Hormone (top quality, serves three) This costs less than 500 yen per person, which is surprising. - Intestine... This also costs 600 yen per person. However, the ingredients are probably just very fresh because the hormone has no smell at all and is easy to eat. And the sauce. Surprisingly, it is not overpowering and elegant. Delicious, just delicious! A little bit of char on the hormone, combined with the smoky aroma from the sauce charred on the charcoal, creates a deep flavor. Delicious. Miso soup... It becomes incredibly delicious when you add a little yakiniku sauce to it (as I learned from the leader). Ashibetsu has elegant French/Italian restaurants as well as wild and delicious yakiniku places like this. Ashibetsu is amazing... (laughs)

In the almost empty town of Ashibetsu, this place shines brightly! I was looking forward to it, thinking why come to Ashibetsu without visiting here (well, it's for work though)... When I ordered a highball, a bottle of shochu, canned oolong tea, and ice came out! I might end up drinking too much♪ There are some dishes I didn't manage to take photos of, but the raw lamb and kimchi were especially delicious! Well, everything was delicious, but those were exceptional! The deliciousness of the raw lamb is something you don't often find even in Sapporo! I want more~!!! You may not have many opportunities to stay in Ashibetsu, but if you do, please try visiting this place.

This is the best yakiniku restaurant I know. While there may be better places for kalbi, I have not found a yakiniku place better than this one. The meat handling, sauce, and condiment balance are excellent. Many places now use gas grills, but this restaurant uses charcoal grills. Each table has a hair dryer to adjust the heat. The kimchi is also delicious. They also sell meat for takeout. However, dining in is recommended. This is a reliable yakiniku restaurant.

My hometown of Ashibetsu, a shop I've been going to since long ago. I visit about 2-3 times a year when I go back home. It's my comfort food. But since I tried delicious yakiniku in Sapporo once, I can't say that the Genghis Khan or horumon here is "extremely delicious"… well, it's good, but not amazing. I usually order a large amount of Genghis Khan and horumon. And rice is a must. I always order miso soup as well. It's more like a miso soup with egg drop, but this miso soup is number one in my book. Even better than my mother's cooking… she thinks maybe there's starch in it, but she just can't recreate it the same way. I wonder what's in it? When I went there recently after a long time, it seemed like there was even more egg in it?! Maybe more than 2 eggs per serving? 3 eggs? And yet it's cheap. I feel like just going to drink the miso soup, but let's not do that. The shop itself is small and always crowded. And now they grill it on a shichirin, so it gets smoky. But that's what makes it delicious. The sauce is also best when you make it yourself. It seems like the son has taken over, so we can continue to enjoy it. That's a relief. I hope they continue to do well in the future. ♡

In August 2012, I visited this restaurant during the Obon festival for the first time, although I have visited multiple times during the summer. As expected, it was crowded. The owner mentioned that they are only busy during Obon and New Year's, but I always feel the urge to visit whenever I come back to my hometown. The prices have gone up a bit, but the food is still cheap and delicious as always.
It is located near my wife's parents' house, so we always stop by whenever we visit. Even our elementary school-aged child has become a fan of their horumon (offal). Horumon is usually cheap, but the one here is both cheap and delicious. You wouldn't find such pricing in Tokyo. If you happen to pass by Furano or other places on your way, I recommend stopping by here for dinner. It's just a short walk from Ashibetsu Station, but there are few trains, so it might be more convenient to come by car. It was very crowded on December 30th, the day before New Year's, with a lot of people waiting at the entrance or in their cars (there is a parking lot). Reservations are available except during New Year's or Obon.
