I was surprised to see a huge line at the station building in the past, but I finally got the chance to visit Namba Walk, which I was interested in as well! I visited on a Saturday after 5 pm, and there were only 2 groups ahead of us, so we were seated after a short wait. As you can see in the photo I posted, we ordered by scanning the QR code with our smartphones. Ordering this way was really convenient.
---Taste impressions---
Him: French Orange
Me: Non-alcoholic Mango Smoothie
We started with a toast with our drinks. The one he ordered was visually appealing, so I was a bit envious, and for my second drink, I ordered Love Squall Peach, which I really enjoyed. I love Squall drinks, so it was right up my alley.
[Egg Custard with Scallop]
[Garlic Marinated Salmon Roe]
I personally preferred the salmon roe, which had a great taste and paired perfectly with the crispy baguette.
[Truffle-flavored Fried Egg]
Simply delicious. The truffle flavor was more pronounced in the greens underneath the egg.
[Beef Tongue and Daikon Radish Skewer]
Be careful when eating this one, as the wasabi sauce is quite strong. I ended up with tears in my eyes, but the taste was delicious.
[Truffle Cream Pizza]
We ordered a half size this time, and it was quite delicious! I've had truffle pizza at another restaurant before, but it's nice to be able to enjoy it at this price point.
[Quail Bacon and Cherry Tomato Skewer]
I'm not a big fan of tomatoes, but he enjoyed this dish.
[Prosciutto and Salami]
A reliable and tasty choice. I love prosciutto, so I would definitely order this again.
[Quail Meatball with Blue Cheese Skewer]
Surprisingly, the blue cheese flavor was subtle and easy to eat. I might order this again next time.
[Grilled Sea Urchin Rice Ball]
A small but delicious rice ball, perfect for finishing off the meal.
[Creme Brulee]
I couldn't resist ordering this dessert. It tasted as good as it looked.
After he pressed the payment button on his smartphone, there was a message saying to wait for a staff member to come, but no one came, so we had to call them over for the payment. Even after he paid at the register, the staff member seemed unresponsive, which was a bit strange. Overall, it seems like a good place to drop by casually. The fact that they have store-exclusive menu items is also a plus. If I had a bit more room in my stomach, I would have liked to try the foie gras steak. Thank you as always. Bon appétit!
