After returning from a trip in Kansai, I found myself at Itami Airport. It was around 3pm, too late for lunch but too early for dinner. Despite the crowd, I managed to get into a restaurant without waiting. I ordered a set of okonomiyaki and tonpeiyaki, along with a cold beer. I chose the fluffy and creamy okonomiyaki with plenty of seafood. The sauce was a bit lacking, so I had to ask for more. I preferred the spicy sauce over the regular one. I also added mayonnaise and seaweed on top. Personally, I like to sprinkle some shichimi spice on my okonomiyaki. It was a delicious and well-balanced meal. As for the tonpeiyaki, it was wrapped in egg with chunks of pork, which I found a bit too much compared to the egg. The set of three dishes was enough for me, as the tonpeiyaki alone might be too heavy. The tempura bits added a nice touch. Overall, the okonomiyaki was delicious while the tonpeiyaki was just average. It was a satisfying pre-flight meal before heading back to Kanto. Perfect for enjoying with a cold beer!

During this business trip to Osaka, I didn't have a chance to try okonomiyaki, so I planned to enjoy it along with beer at this restaurant I had researched in advance. When I arrived at the restaurant after checking in my luggage, there was a line of about 10 people waiting. Despite other nearby restaurants having no line, this one was by far the busiest. Fortunately, I had enough time to wait, so I joined the line. It took about 25 minutes to get seated, and our orders were served relatively quickly. We had: - Draft beer for 650 yen x 4 - Black pepper-flavored beef tendon and konjac stew for 680 yen (with a ratio of 1 konjac to 9 beef tendon!) - Kiyotaro Special Okonomiyaki for 1580 yen, which had a variety of ingredients like octopus, spear squid, shrimp, pork, oil lees, dried shrimp, and firefly squid. The okonomiyaki had a crispy surface and fluffy inside, allowing us to enjoy different flavors with each bite. - Mini pork omelette set for 350 yen, which was a perfect accompaniment to the okonomiyaki. The fluffy egg wrapped around chunks of pork was a delightful combination. The staff was courteous, the food was delicious, and overall it was a great dining experience. It was my first time here, so I'm not sure if it's always this busy, but be prepared for a line. Thank you for the meal.

Visited with 3 foreigners on a Friday morning. There were about 6 people in line. Waited for a little over 10 minutes to enter. Ordered the special okonomiyaki for the number of people. The fluffy okonomiyaki was surprisingly delicious. What surprised me the most was how much the Americans loved it. Even an executive with an annual income of a billion yen found it amusing. If they had an okonomiyaki restaurant in America, it might become popular. The 1,500 yen for okonomiyaki may be hard to accept in Osaka, but it's totally fine at the airport. Thank you for the meal. It's been renovated quite a bit and the new Itami Airport has become more attractive. I would like to come back again.

Average okonomiyaki. The omelette okonomiyaki was too simple and not satisfying enough. However, you can still enjoy the reliable deliciousness of okonomiyaki. For those who forgot to eat okonomiyaki in Osaka, it might be worth stopping by the airport to have some. Okonomiyaki and a beer cost around 2000 yen.

I happened to come here during lunchtime and I just had to have it when I came to Osaka. The tonpeiyaki, Seijuro special okonomiyaki, beef tendon stew, sirloin steak, and yakisoba were all delicious and there were no disappointments. We waited for about 20 minutes before being seated. Since we had pre-ordered, everything went smoothly once we were seated. The yakisoba had thick noodles and was very satisfying. Thank you for the meal.

We had a late lunch at the airport. We enjoyed a tonpeiyaki, a Kiyotaro Special, and a yakisoba with tonpeiyaki set for three people. We chose salt for the yakisoba. The tonpeiyaki was delicious, wrapped in fluffy egg. Choosing salt for the yakisoba was the right decision, as it had ingredients like squid and a salty flavor that provided a nice break from the usual sauce flavor.

The Yariika Okonomiyaki for 1280 yen and Oolong tea for 300 yen were delicious. It was empty around 2:30 pm on a weekday, so I didn't have to wait long after ordering. The Okonomiyaki was fluffy and soft, and the sauce was delicious. I enjoyed it! I didn't notice the staff until they all greeted me with "Welcome!" and burst into laughter, which made me realize it's a bright workplace.

I hesitated a bit to enter the okonomiyaki restaurant at Osaka Itami Airport alone, but I was relieved to see that there was a counter. The style is where they cook the okonomiyaki for you and bring it to your seat, so even if you're not good at cooking it yourself, you can still enjoy a delicious okonomiyaki. I usually can't finish a whole okonomiyaki by myself, but I managed to eat the special one completely. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I added mini tonpeiyaki to the beef sinew and green onion yakisoba. I also tried the famous Garisawa at Kiyotaro. When I sat down and called the waiter to place my order, the Garisawa arrived immediately. I should have asked for it to come with the okonomiyaki! The waiter was instructing the staff to bring drinks to other tables as soon as the food was ready, so it was a bit disappointing that my drink was flat by the time the okonomiyaki arrived. The tonpeiyaki had finely chopped pork inside, like an omelette. The okonomiyaki was topped with plenty of bonito flakes. I realized I had to add my own sauce and toppings, which was a bit confusing for me. I waited in line for about 10 minutes, and was then seated at a counter where no one else was sitting. It was quite expensive, so it was a bit of a letdown.

At the end of my trip to Osaka, I had okonomiyaki. I arrived at the restaurant after 2 PM so I was seated right away. The griddle was already warm, and they placed the cooked items on it for us. I had the "Kiyoshiro Special" for 1580 yen and the tonpeiyaki for 930 yen. It took about 15 minutes for the food to be served. The tonpeiyaki was shaped like an Inari sushi and had a yellow color because of the egg. It was filled with various ingredients and tasted delicious. The okonomiyaki, as the name suggests, had plenty of shrimp, squid, and other fillings. Both dishes were tasty, and I thoroughly enjoyed the Osaka cuisine until the end of my trip.

The okonomiyaki had an omelette on top, allowing you to enjoy both dishes. A recommended restaurant for when you miss out on Osaka's gourmet food.

When you have some time before heading home at Itami Airport, it's definitely worth trying the okonomiyaki. It's popular among travelers and there's usually a long line. The fluffy okonomiyaki is delicious, especially when they generously sprinkle bonito flakes on top at the end.

While in Osaka, I decided to try some flour-based dishes. Although I initially thought of trying flour-based dishes, the yakisoba looked delicious so I ordered a set of mini tonpei yaki and mixed yakisoba. The portion size was quite generous, making it a good value for money. However, I personally did not enjoy the thick noodles used in the yakisoba as they were not to my liking. The tonpei yaki, on the other hand, was simply delicious.

The location is great as it's inside the airport, but the prices felt a bit high. When I entered, they explained how long it would take to wait and for the food to be ready, which was nice. The staff were energetic and friendly. I ordered the Kiyoshiro Special and a small beer since I was about to board a flight. I was unsure if it was correct to eat okonomiyaki with a spatula, but I ended up using chopsticks. Sitting at the counter, I could see the okonomiyaki being made right in front of me, which gave me a sentimental feeling of being in Osaka. The okonomiyaki was delicious. Many people were ordering the tonpei-yaki set, so it seemed popular.

Yes, yes. Once again, there was an order from God to go to Yokohama, where I spent the day playing at an amusement park. On the way back to the airport, feeling hungry, I suggested Taro Ramen as a good option, but got no response and was shot down. When I mentioned Osaka, I was told to try the sauce here at Itami Airport 3F. First, it's the familiar Ruby's. For God, who surprisingly ordered water this time, the choices were 1. Tonpeiyaki 2. Kakiage 3. Yakisoba. As for the Tonpeiyaki, it had slightly tough pork wrapped in egg. On top of that, the Osaka staple condiments, sauce and mayonnaise. It was just so good. When you take a bite and chew, the perfect combination of sauce and mayonnaise hits your mouth first, followed by the smoothness of the egg and the texture of the meat. It's so delicious. The Kakiage was thick and also topped with sauce and mayonnaise. Just a bit on the small side, but still delicious. However, it wasn't enough, so I decided on the Dashimaki Tamago, but it wasn't necessary. Yakisoba was chosen in the end. I forgot to take a photo, but it was just okay. Not great, not terrible. This place is better for fried foods that are crispy and delicious. I'll come back if I'm drawn to fried foods again. The cost performance is not great, but it's a bit pricey because it's at the airport. But that's to be expected given the location. It was delicious, thank you very much.

I had the Kiyoshiro Special. It was delicious, but the flavor became monotonous as I ate more. I added mayonnaise and some sauces from the table, and that made it more satisfying. If it were a little cheaper, I would have been more satisfied.

I had a special meal at Kiyoshiro's with rice and miso soup. It was an okonomiyaki restaurant at the airport, so I wasn't expecting much, but it was very delicious, thanks to the good cooking of the older brother. I thought it was a bit expensive when I ordered, but the okonomiyaki was big and satisfying.

I visited "Osaka Okonomiyaki Kiyotaro" on this day. During my solo trip to Osaka, I realized that I hadn't tried okonomiyaki yet, so I decided to visit this restaurant around 7 PM. There were many customers already inside. I was seated at the counter and ordered a draft beer, the recommended "Fluffy and Creamy Omelette Okonomiyaki", and "Smashed Cucumber". First, the draft beer and smashed cucumber arrived. The beer was Sapporo Perfect Black Label, which I didn't expect to find at the airport. After a while, the okonomiyaki arrived. It had an omelette on top, so it didn't look like a typical okonomiyaki at first glance. When I cut into it, I found a delicious okonomiyaki underneath. I tried both the regular okonomiyaki sauce and the special spicy thick sauce, which was not actually spicy but very tasty. The okonomiyaki itself was delicious, with a hint of sweetness from the cabbage. It was enjoyable to watch the okonomiyaki being cooked right in front of me.

Finally saying goodbye to Hokkaido with tears, I arrived in Osaka to search for a new home!! As soon as I arrived at Itami Airport, I wanted to eat okonomiyaki, so I visited Kiyotaro for the first time (^O^) First, I ordered the classic okonomiyaki "Butatama" and yakisoba "Tonpei Mini"! Yeah, it's definitely okonomiyaki! (o^^o)
