I went to Ishikari for business and decided to relax at the Banya no Yu hot spring after a tiring day of traveling around. It was very relaxing, but now I have to spend over an hour getting back home. To perk myself up, I decided to have some soft serve ice cream. When I asked for a mixed flavor of strawberry and vanilla, I was told they only had vanilla, strawberry, and cocoa flavors available that day. I settled for vanilla and found it to be subtly sweet with a strong milk flavor and a nice firm texture. It was delicious and refreshing. Even though I don't come to this area often, I would definitely stop by Banya no Yu again. Thank you, Milky!

I searched and found out that Papa-san is here. I was surprised that he walked all the way here, but it seems like he came back from golf, so it's safe haha. The eat-in area is closed, so I lined up outside in the cold. Everyone is keeping a good distance, practicing social distancing ( ´∀｀ )b The soft-serve ice cream is 290 yen, it seems like they raised the price a bit, but it's still cheap compared to nowadays. I got the Strawberry Mix in a cup. The transparent plastic cup shows the hollow space underneath clearly (((*≧艸≦)ﾌﾟﾌﾟｯ The way it's scooped is similar to a cone, so the portion is not small, but... it looks a bit lonely haha. The vanilla is milky and refreshing, while the occasional crunchy texture comes from the sweet and sour strawberries. The soft serve from Yamanakabokujo is delicious, right? They use milk from the Yamanaka Farm for their soft serve. The shop has a parking lot next to it. They mainly sell their products at the storefront, and if the weather is nice, you can sit at the terrace seats. There is also a small table seating area when you enter through the door on the right side. On that day, they had the normal flavor as well as matcha, cocoa, and strawberry. I decided to try the "Azuki cup soft serve (320 yen)" and asked the very friendly motherly lady for it. I took a bite and thought, "Hmm? Was it this delicious?" It was milky and had a nice balance of sweetness, with the deliciousness of the Yamanaka Farm milk coming through. The slight crunchiness was also a good touch, and the sweetness of the red beans was well-balanced. I noticed that the motherly lady at the shop seemed to have many fans among the customers. This is Ishikari. After golf, I stopped by to have some soft serve ice cream! It's located across from Banya no Yu. There was a bus stop in front of the store, and many students returning from club activities on weekends were there. Three middle-aged men were there having soft serve ice cream σ(^_^;) Of course, we ordered the jumbo size! I chose the Cocoa Mix flavor. But it doesn't seem that jumbo, huh σ(^_^;) Maybe it's just a regular size (lol). I had a soldier try it and evaluate it (lol). It's quite milky with some crunchy bits left. It's rich, but with a refreshing aftertaste, I think ^_^ I was very tired from golf, so it tasted really delicious! This time, I finally made it~ Yes! The soft serve ice cream in Akaike Village is usually too light and not rich enough for my taste, but my partner likes it. It's nice that they have a jumbo size, but it's not really that jumbo, I think. It's a mix of strawberry and vanilla. It was delicious as usual. It's crunchy and refreshing. The small one is vanilla. My partner had the chocolate sundae in a cup. You really can't compare it to Costco, can you? The cost performance here is also not bad. I had never tried the soft serve ice cream from Yagamigaoka Observatory, but after coming back from the beach, I discovered it and thought, "Mmm! I want to eat some sweet soft serve to refresh my tired body." Sorry, I want to eat it even when I'm not tired. I feel like the soft serve ice cream from Yamanaka Farm melts easily. I bought it and it melted a lot on the way back to the car. The texture is slightly crunchy and the aftertaste is a bit milky, but overall it is refreshing. I received the soft serve and when I stepped outside, the lady smiled and nodded through the window. It was heartwarming. The soft serve had a crunchy texture and was light and not too sweet. It was a bit sweet, but not heavy, so it wasn't too rich. However, the cone didn't taste that good, it felt a bit cheap. I would like to try other flavors, so I would like to come back again. I went to Ishikari City. It is in the Honcho area, close to Ishikari Lighthouse. I visited to have my motorcycle spark plug replaced and also took it for a test ride. Milky-san is a place where you can enjoy delicious soft serve ice cream. It used to operate in a log cabin near the Ishikari Onsen Banya, and it has been a long-standing soft serve ice cream shop since then. The current shop is located in a building that has replaced the old cabin, near the Ishikari City Hall branch office. They mainly offer vanilla and matcha flavors. I ordered the matcha mix jumbo size this time. The texture is incredibly creamy without any graininess. The milk flavor is also very rich. The matcha flavor has a subtle aroma and bitterness, but it doesn't overpower. The balance is great. The mix flavor is definitely popular. I enjoyed the ice cream outside this time because the weather was nice, but they also have indoor seating for eating in. It seems to be a popular spot for customers coming from the onsen. I couldn't confirm it this time, but I saw a menu item called "Ishikariyama" in the menu image. It comes in small and large sizes for 600 yen and 800 yen, respectively. I wonder what it is...
