I was looking forward to seeing what kind of takoyaki would be served at a Gindako-owned store, but it seemed like they were pre-made, which was a bit disappointing. I arrived at 5:40 pm on a weekday, and even though it was a weekday, the place was quite lively, mainly with young people. It's the weekend, but there were only two other groups of customers, so it was nice and cool inside, which was a relief. The shop serves octopus balls that are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a wide variety of options available. They also have a selection of izakaya-style appetizers. I ordered a highball and my partner got a lemon sour. It was so hot outside that we drank our drinks quickly. Personally, I prefer the old-fashioned, moist takoyaki, but the crispy and soft texture of this version was also enjoyable. The grilled chicken skin skewers were a great snack too. They were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, with a sweet sauce that went well with the highball. I ordered another highball. First time at this restaurant. My companion was full from lunch, so we came here for a light drink with some sauce-based dishes. Takoyaki and beer just go so well together. The atmosphere inside is lively with many young people. We ordered the standard sauce takoyaki and another one with a dipping sauce (I forgot the name). Yeah, the standard one is still the best, haha. Since the place is called Highball Sakaba, I switched to highballs from my second drink onwards. Another fun night of drinking and feeling happy. Today, after stopping by the bank in the afternoon, I went to this new place called "GinDako". I thought they opened at 11 am, but it turns out they now open at 3 pm.
