First visit. Assiette Dessert mikan - a shop where you can enjoy a dessert course with a total of 9 items. The entrance is on the semi-basement 1st floor. It is a very beautiful space with only a counter. We were instructed not to move the tableware to avoid damaging the counter. The cutlery is used until the end, so we return it to the holder after finishing each dish. We started the course with a cold herbal tea! The 9 desserts are as follows. We also had 4 types of pairings to go with the desserts. 1) Chilled corn soup with konjac, Yoshino kudzu, and Japanese sugar; 2) Grape and creme d'anjou shine with muscat grapes, Nagano purple queen, and rouge myoga; 3) Syrup, brioche dough, plum sauce, milk gelato, and citrus flash; 4) Blueberry from Shiga, organic vanilla mousse, honey parfait, blueberry confiture, red shiso jelly, and Kyoto sansho meringue; 5) Caramel foam mousse, carrot cake, kataifi powder, caramelized figs, and fresh figs; 6) Chocolate ganache with walnut and caramel parfait, foam mousse, pistachio chiffon cake, caramelized walnuts, chocolate cookie, and fried potatoes; 7) Avocado and tomato foam with salt, shiso powder, and olive oil; 8) Tiramisu with mascarpone foam mousse, chicory coffee, Spanish chocolate gâteau, rhubarb pistachio butter sandwich cookie, macaron with cream cheese and blueberry, and vanilla bean crème brûlée; 9) Madeleine and financier. Pairings (4 types): 1) Champagne (Comte Hugues Blanc de Blancs Brut Nature); 2) White wine; 3) Red wine (Vino Nobile Di Montepulciano Riserva Sanguineto); 4) Dessert wine (Solenghi Gaetano Danza del Sole). We enjoyed a variety of desserts made with seasonal fruits and the wine and champagne pairings were also enjoyable. You can also watch the plating in front of the counter, adding to the sense of presence. It will surely bring a different kind of enjoyment with each change of season. Thank you for the feast.
