A new hamburger shop called Burger Koubou Shinga, with an Okinawan style twist, has opened near the JR crossing in Kasumioka, Higashi-ku, Fukuoka City. I arrived at 11:30 and had the place to myself. While you can dine in, I opted for takeout and ordered their popular American burger for 730 yen. It was ready in about 5 minutes. The American burger was hefty with a generous amount of ingredients including patty, onion rings, tomato, bacon, lettuce, and pickles - the most loaded burger I've had! Especially the onion rings were huge! Apparently, they also operate as a yakiniku and hamayaki restaurant on weekend nights. I definitely want to try that out too. Highly recommended!
