A casual and easy-going tempura restaurant in Shinsaibashi. Order your meal from the menu ticket machine, wait for your order number to be called, pick up your food, eat, and clean up after yourself in your own little world. The mini mentaiko (spicy cod roe) is a delightful treat. - Tempura Ebinoya Shinsaibashi Branch ◆ Business hours 11:00-22:00 (Last order 21:30) ◆ Regular holiday Closed ◆ Location 〒542-0081 Osaka, Chuo-ku, Minamisenba 3-7-17 Miuraya Building 1F (inside Shinsaibashi-suji Shopping Street) ◆ Contact 06-6243-7336

This is my first visit to the Tempura Shrimp restaurant. I was determined to eat a lot, but I hesitated in front of the ticket machine. I couldn't figure out which button was for extra rice on the set meal, and I was hungry, so this time I decided to go with the Tempura Donburi and Udon set. I handed over the ticket, and they called out the order number when it was ready. After waiting at my seat for about 10 minutes, my number was called. The tempura looked delicious, freshly fried. I started with the shrimp. Yes, freshly fried tempura is delicious! The crispy texture of the batter and the juiciness of the sauce are just right. The shrimp is plump, and the vegetables are tender, it's great! I temporarily moved the tempura piled on the bowl aside and started eating the rice. The rice soaked in the sauce was also delicious! It was easy to eat, without feeling too oily from the tempura. The udon noodles were obviously frozen, but they were cost-effective and went well with the tempura, so I slurped them up. I enjoyed the pickles in between bites, and before I knew it, I had finished everything. Thank you for the meal!

I visited "Tempura Ebinoya Shinsaibashi Store" in Kita-shinsaibashi Shopping Street for lunch, a restaurant I had been curious about. I purchased a meal ticket at the entrance and ordered the Ebi-Ippon Don (shrimp tempura bowl). The bowl came with shrimp, eggplant, squid, green beans, and pumpkin tempura, topped with a sweet sauce that paired well with the tempura and rice. The meal also included mentaiko (spicy cod roe) and pickled radish. Overall, it was delicious!

I had some errands in Shinsaibashi on a weekday and decided to look for lunch in the shopping district. I wanted something quick but not fast food. That's when I found this shop selling bentos outside. I thought, why not try the tempura rice bowl? I don't usually have a hot lunch, so I was looking forward to it. I bought a meal ticket at the storefront, and there were options like a tempura bowl with 2 shrimp or 3 shrimp. It was interesting. I chose the 2-shrimp bowl. They were frying near the entrance, and the eating area was at the back of the shop. When my number was called, I went to pick up my order. The 2-shrimp tempura bowl had shrimp, sweet potato, eggplant, chili pepper, seaweed, snow peas, and more on top. The color was dark, which surprised me. The lid was placed on top of the rice with the tempura pieces. I scooped some tempura onto the lid first, then dug into the bowl. The dark color was from the broth-like sauce on the tempura, which mixed well with the white rice. It was interesting to see the addition of cod roe. Quick, tasty, and affordable. Isn't this basically fast food after all?

Sometimes I really crave tendon. I wonder why... Maybe because of the shrimp! Two big shrimp in it! So happy! It was so satisfying and delicious. You order at the entrance and then pick it up later. The restaurant felt quite spacious. These days, I feel uneasy if the tables are too close together. There were a lot of solo diners. It's easy to walk in. I want to go back again.

In Shinsaibashi, I tried a new type of vending machine to buy a ticket for tempura rice bowl. I was sweating nervously while ordering. I chose the option with two shrimp on top, called the "Two Shrimp Bowl". Although there was also a "Three Shrimp Bowl" available, I decided to stick with two. The freshly fried tempura was delicious and hot, just as expected.

Today I had lunch here♪ I couldn't resist the sight of the noodles of Sano Ramen, so I ended up entering a tempura rice bowl restaurant haha. It seems like a recently opened place, the interior is clean. It's a small restaurant with about 10 counter seats and 5 table seats. I was drawn in by the signboard offering a tempura rice bowl with shrimp for 550 yen. I bought a meal ticket, took a seat, and waited. They have a system where a number is displayed on a machine similar to a hospital medication call system to let you know when your order is ready. The tempura rice bowl had shrimp, squid, green beans, pumpkin, eggplant, and scallops, so it's a great deal! The sauce is on the sweeter side. They fry it after you order, so the tempura was crispy and delicious. Sometimes you need to consume vegetable oil too haha. It was a satisfying meal, thank you♪

There used to be a ramen shop in this area, but now it's one of the shrimp restaurants. I believe it was called Sabaroku. The tempura bowl is cheap, starting at 550 yen. You buy a food ticket at the entrance, hand it in, and wait to be called to your table. Your number will be displayed on a monitor, so you go pick up your order yourself. Miso soup is not included in the set, so I added it separately. Although it doesn't come with the bowl, the set meal comes with mentaiko (I got some from my companion that day). I was satisfied with the portion size and taste. The restaurant is very clean, with many seats for solo diners, making it ideal for a quick lunch when you're short on time.

I often visit tempura chain restaurants in Fukuoka, but this was my first time here! It feels like dipping the tempura in sweet sauce. The rice goes well with it. #I'm only rating based on taste#I want to revisit a restaurant not just for the taste#There are restaurants that I don't want to visit even if the food is delicious#I live to eat.

I was walking through the shopping street, wondering what to eat for dinner, when I noticed a newly opened restaurant. I went in and paid 529 yen for a meal ticket, then ordered a tempura rice bowl bento. I had it at work and found it to be quite ordinary, with a small portion size. It was interesting that the broth was served separately to pour over the rice later.
