A few years ago, they also had a location in Sakai Higashi. I had been there before! The daily special rotation includes American country-style dishes and comes with soup and salad. I chose the Ebi Mayo Fritter Rice, which is a lettuce-filled Chinese-style fried rice topped with shrimp fritters and special chili mayonnaise. The shrimp fritters were crispy and delicious, and the portion size was satisfying. The meal also came with a choice of drink, and I opted for hot coffee. The total cost for this set was 1,045 yen. Inside the restaurant, there were fun decorations in a wood-tone setting. For lunch, I had Jawa curry with 2 shrimp fries. The menu had a huge variety of dishes to choose from. I saw a White Sauce Omelette Rice that looked delicious. The Albana White Omelette Rice for 1,188 yen had minced meat, white sauce, and cheese - it looked like a must-try! An elderly lady around 80 years old was quietly eating, and it felt like a shop loved by the locals. I was served soup and cutlery first. The soup was a flavorful consomme with onions and bacon. Then, the omelette rice arrived - it was a large portion with a generous amount of egg, white sauce, and cheese on top. The taste was amazing, with the cheese melting into the white sauce and rice. The rice was seasoned with salt and pepper, not ketchup, which went well with the frozen vegetables and minced meat. It was a challenge to finish the large portion, but I managed to do so. It was a satisfying meal, but I felt quite full for my 2 pm work. Overall, it was a delicious experience.

About the restaurant: Located about a 5-minute drive west from Fukai Station on the Semboku Rapid Railway, across from the supermarket "Konomiya". The restaurant has a nice American diner vibe with a good atmosphere and a decent number of table seats. About the food: I wanted to have an American-style burger for lunch, and although they offer a great value burger lunch set with a drink (850 yen), the variety of burger options was limited. So, I opted for the "Aurora Shrimp Burger" as a single order and chose a "Coke" for my drink. The Aurora Shrimp Burger: It was served about 15 minutes after ordering, accompanied by a mountain of french fries and salad. The burger buns were generously topped with sesame seeds, giving a nice sesame flavor. The patty was made of lean meat, thinly cooked with a crispy surface. On top of the patty were three crispy fried shrimp tempura pieces, drizzled with both Aurora sauce and sweet chili sauce, creating a unique sweet taste. The burger size was smaller than expected, but the accompanying french fries were plentiful and delicious. French Fries: The portion of french fries was huge, crispy and freshly fried, but a bit too much to finish. Salad: A simple salad of chopped lettuce and cabbage with a slightly sweet French dressing, nothing extraordinary. Overall, the taste of the burger was different from the trendy gourmet burgers, more like a traditional American burger. The patty was light and made with lean meat, reminiscent of classic American burgers. The portion size of the burger was a bit smaller than expected, but the generous servings of fries and salad made it a filling meal. The total bill, including the drink, came to around 1700 yen, which was a decent price considering the quantity. It was a good meal, but the value for money was a bit lacking due to the smaller burger size. Well, it happens sometimes!

What caught my attention more was the smoking area. Although they had separate tables for smoking, there were no partitions, so smoke from nearby tables drifted into the non-smoking area.
