In October of the 4th year of Reiwa, during lunchtime (11:30-14:30), I had the Chicken Nanban set meal for 590 yen. The main Chicken Nanban was a bit over-fried and personally, it was just okay. The regular price is 660 yen, but during lunchtime, you can enjoy it for 590 yen with a discount of 70 yen, which is a good deal. You can dine in the restaurant and smoking is allowed, which is convenient for smokers.

Hmm. First of all, the customer service attitude is terrible. The taste is far from exquisite. Also, it seems to have no relation at all to the celebrity Kim Kyung-Ho. When I searched various things, there were many bad rumors... The nearby Obento Monogatari or Hoka Ben has much better quantity and taste. I won't be going there again. I went around 12:30, but I wasn't there.

Karaage: ★★★★☆ I ordered the karaage and it was delicious. The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The seasoning was just right, not too salty or too bland. I would definitely recommend trying the karaage at this restaurant.

The food was bad, portions were small, and prices were high. I have never encountered a bento shop like this before, it's disappointing. And to top it off, I found out that Kim-san has no involvement at all, which just makes me angry.

After passing 2 pm, I was looking for a place to have lunch on my way back from my errands to the station. I came across a place with a stylish exterior that didn't look like a typical bento shop at first. I thought I couldn't eat there because it seemed like a place to eat outside, but as I approached, I saw a sign saying that eating inside was also possible. I thought there would be just a few simple tables and chairs inside, but the interior was bright and clean. They had regular bento boxes for a few hundred yen, but their specialty was homemade hamburgers. The hamburger bento was priced at 740 yen, which is not cheap compared to other bentos. However, if it's recommended, I would like to try it. Also, looking at the photo of the shrimp fry bento, it had heads on. They weren't very big, but they were the type of shrimp fry I love. I decided without hesitation to go for the combo of a small hamburger and shrimp fry for 940 yen. Even though it's a bento shop, when I chose to eat inside, they served it on a white ceramic plate. They even provided water. The hamburger was moist and tender, with a hidden flavor of dashi. I enjoyed eating the shrimp fry starting from the head. It seems they also serve as an izakaya in the evening. I would love to visit again if I'm in the area.

The other day, I went to visit a friend in Osaka from Saitama. We decided to have lunch at a highly recommended bento shop nearby. I was surprised by the stylish exterior of the shop when we arrived. It felt more like a cafe than a bento shop. Inside, the staff greeted us with smiles. The two young male staff members were very friendly and the manager was also very welcoming. When I asked for recommendations, they suggested the hamburger, which is cooked in their special Demi-glace sauce. As a hamburger enthusiast, I couldn't resist trying it. I ordered the hamburger (100g) with ginger pork on the side and a freshly squeezed grapefruit sour drink. The food was beautifully plated on dishes, not in bento boxes as I had imagined. The hamburger was juicy and tender, and the Demi-glace sauce was delicious. It was easy to see why it was their most popular dish. The ginger pork was slightly sweet and went well with the rice. The potato salad on the side was also incredibly tasty. Everything was homemade, which added to the charm of the place. My friend ordered the daily special, which was a beef and bean sprout stir-fry dish that was also very delicious. The owner's attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the restaurant, from the exterior to the menu and the food itself. The cozy atmosphere made me want to stay longer, and I may have had a few too many sours. I hope this restaurant expands to the Kanto region so I can enjoy their food more often. I will definitely visit again when I'm in Osaka.
