For lunch today, my husband and I went to Hinode Shokudo. There were various menu options, but the daily special was sold out, so I ended up getting the mackerel miso stew set meal. You could help yourself to rice and miso soup, and refills were free, so I ate to my heart's content. The mackerel miso stew was sweet and delicious, made with white miso. Plus, it was only 630 yen, so it was both cheap and tasty. I would love to go back again. Give it a try, everyone! ☺️

Today, I skipped breakfast so I was really hungry! After finishing my morning work in Higashi-Osaka, I headed straight to "Hinode Shokudo Okibariya," a restaurant that I had been curious about from looking it up on Tabelog. They open early in the morning and have a wide variety of menu items with good value. I parked my car in the parking lot and eagerly went inside. Feeling hungry, I chose the Western-style plate with a lot of volume for 980 yen. As you can see in the photo, it looked perfect and delicious. It included shrimp fry, demi-glace sauce, hamburger, cream croquette, salad, pickles, rice (with free refills), miso soup with seaweed (with free refills). All of this for only 980 yen is super cheap! Everything was delicious, so I will definitely come back again. Thank you for the meal.

When I asked, they made them for me right away. I got the yellow soba (250 yen) as usual, which was delicious as always.
