Compared to before, the menu variety has increased and prices have become more affordable. As a result, the salad options have been reduced, and now soup and meal options have been incorporated into the menu. You can add a drink bar for just an additional 100 yen. The cheapest menu item is 450 yen, but for an extra 70 yen, you can get a set that includes mentaiko croquette and chicken wings for 520 yen, so I ordered that! Oh, for 520 yen, the quality and taste of the content are satisfying indeed. The rice in the set meal is free for one refill, but I almost wanted to get another refill. Thank you for the meal!

Today, I had the mentaiko pasta at the mentaiko shop. And how was the taste? Of course, delicious! Located on the first floor of "Sakae-ya Ogori Store," a famous eatery in the Asakura area of Ogori City, Fukuoka Prefecture, this shop is a hidden gem where you can enjoy unlimited delicious mentaiko delivered directly from the factory. The shop, combined with the space for selling mentaiko, is bright and open, and I always enjoy my meals there. When dining at Nagomi, my go-to recommended menu is the Nagomi set meal (700 yen). It includes taraba crab miso soup, mentaiko croquette, tofu, a small side dish, rice (one free refill), and pickles, all for just 550 yen. For an additional 150 yen, you can upgrade to a set that includes a salad bar, onigiri, two types of soup, and unlimited drinks, which is an amazing deal. The Nagomi set meal features a hearty taraba crab miso soup and delicious homemade mentaiko croquette, making it hard to resist the rice and onigiri. Also, even though alcohol is not on the menu, if it were, the mentaiko varieties available for unlimited consumption, such as spicy mentaiko, extra spicy mentaiko, mentaiko mayonnaise, mentaiko-flavored seasoned herring roe, and herring roe stuffed with mentaiko, are all exquisite! They are perfect as accompaniments to rice and would make fantastic snacks with alcohol. By replenishing vegetables at the salad bar and finishing the meal with 100% orange juice and coffee, I feel full of happiness and a full stomach. In Fukuoka, there is an image of having mentaiko for breakfast and ending the night with ramen from a food stall, but in reality, it happens less frequently. Even in my household, mentaiko is not often served for breakfast, but when faced with delicious unlimited mentaiko, does my DNA awaken? I find myself strangely high-spirited. It seems there is a similar shop in Amagi, so I will visit there next time! Thank you, Nagomi, for always providing delicious meals.
