This day, I barely made it in time for the last lunch order, but they allowed me to enter. The counter had a nice atmosphere with a view of the sea. The interior was clean and had a good feel to it. It's nice that you can order sushi by the piece. I ordered a sushi set. When I asked if it had salmon roe in it, they added some for me without changing the price. The chef was kind. Miso soup and chawanmushi were also included. The fish was fairly fresh and the taste was average. The salmon roe was a bit lacking in flavor.

The scenery was beautiful and the atmosphere was nice. Even though it was just before closing, they let me in and were kind. I had 6 pieces of upper-grade sea urchin and fatty tuna, 3 fatty tuna rolls for 1980 yen. They don't usually include salmon roe, but when I asked, they added it for me. The fatty tuna and fatty tuna rolls were delicious. The squid was a bit chewy, so it was okay. There was no unpleasant smell from the sea urchin. The salmon roe was plentiful and tasty. The portion was not enough, but it was just right for me as I came after having lunch. Thank you for the meal.

I used the lunch menu. I ordered the seafood bowl, which was supposed to be a deluxe version, but it was served on a stylish plate with incredibly fresh seafood and delicious soy sauce. It came with chawanmushi, red miso soup, and a small side dish, and it was quite reasonably priced and delicious.

Kitakyushu City, Moji Ward, Nishi Kaigan. A sushi restaurant that opened on June 10, 2021, at the Nissan Shipbuilding Building (a sunny spot). I knew the location, but I forgot to confirm which floor it was on. There was no information on the menu on the first floor. I decided to take a chance and got on the elevator, where I found a sushi magnet on the 4th floor. It would have been nice to have more information. The weekend-only sushi lunch set (8 pieces of sushi, 3 rolls of thin rolls or seafood chirashi, small dish, chawanmushi, tempura, red miso soup) is popular. They also offer various seafood bowls. You can also order sushi a la carte. This time, I ordered the weekend-only lunch set (1880 yen). The sushi included shrimp, spear squid, flatfish, flounder, tuna, and more. The thin rolls were tekka maki. The quality of the fish was good, especially the spear squid was delicious. However, I found the wasabi to be a bit overpowering. The small dish was like eggplant dengaku, cold eggplant which was perfect for the hot season. The tempura included shiso leaf, white fish, shrimp, lotus root, pumpkin, all crispy and delicious. The white fish tempura was particularly tasty. The chawanmushi had a strong egg and dashi flavor, with squid and shrimp adding a nice texture. The red miso soup had fish in it and was rich in flavor without overpowering the sushi and tempura. The quality of the red miso soup was quite high. Overall, I think the taste, price, and speed of service (relaxed) are good, but the order of service and customer service could be improved. The order of service is crucial, and having red miso soup after sushi is not ideal. Without that, I believe this place would be well-received in the limited sushi options in the Moji Port area. Thank you for the meal.

I went to the local magazine restaurant as advertised. The weather wasn't great, but the seat with a view of the sea was quite nice. They have a great lunch deal even on weekends and holidays, so this time I had a seafood bowl with tempura. The fish was fresh and I was very satisfied. If I had to mention one thing, I wish there was more salmon roe instead of flying fish roe, even if the quantity was reduced a bit. Thank you for the meal.

Just outside Moji Port Station, on the fourth floor of a building that gets plenty of sunlight, is a sushi and seafood shabu-shabu restaurant. The seating area surrounds the kitchen, with counter seats offering a view of the Kanmon Straits. There are also table seats and semi-private booths with curtains for privacy. They offer two lunch sets on weekdays: nigiri sushi and chirashi sushi. I tried the nigiri lunch set, which was discounted from 1580 yen to 1280 yen (* ॑꒳ ॑* ). The drink selection includes a decent variety of alcohol, with a focus on Japanese sake, mainly from the Suntory brand. The nigiri lunch set (1408 yen) includes nigiri sushi, small side dishes, red miso soup, and chawanmushi. The sushi pieces were not small, and I ended up feeling quite full without needing to order additional items. The first piece was surprisingly firm, but as I chewed, it revealed a sticky texture and sweetness that was delicious. The other sushi pieces were also generously cut and fresh. The soy sauce provided was mild and gentle, different from the overly sweet soy sauce often found in Kyushu. The small side dish was a sweetly simmered fish, which was unexpectedly tasty. The red miso soup and chawanmushi were both simple but delicious. The chawanmushi had a strong dashi flavor at first, reminiscent of dashimaki tamago, but I quickly got used to it and enjoyed it. Even at the regular price of 1580 yen, I think it's a good value. The restaurant has a great view, especially on sunny days. The service was a bit slow, but I didn't mind taking my time to enjoy the food and the view. Dinner prices are surprisingly reasonable as well. They offer more than just sushi, so it seems like a good place for casual dining as well.

The seat with an ocean view overlooking Shimonoseki is in front. We had an excellent clear sky! For 2600 yen, this content is quite good! It was only 11 o'clock, so the alcohol went down smoothly.

On the first day of the three-day weekend, I happened to visit this sushi restaurant without a reservation. It is located on the fourth floor and has a beautiful view overlooking the Kanmon Straits, Shimonoseki Karato Market, and Shimonoseki Tower. The prices are reasonable, the sushi is delicious, and I was very satisfied. The service was also polite. I will definitely visit again.
