After the fireworks festival, we felt a bit hungry and decided to visit a ramen shop. It was about a 5-minute walk from the station. It was great that they had hori-gotatsu seating since we had kids with us! The atmosphere was nice too. I recommend the tonkotsu shoyu ramen! The soup was rich and delicious. I would love to visit again.

It has been a while since I visited Ishibashi in Ikeda City. My wife and I arrived at Ramen Master Matsukaze aiming for the 11 am opening. Besides us, two others were waiting for the opening as well. On the tray, there is a round container with chili oil, ichimi (Japanese red pepper), and sansho (Japanese pepper). Now, since it's my first visit, what should I choose? The special fried rice (regular) made from special lard using A fat (there are A fat, B fat, and C fat for pork back fat, with A fat being the highest rank) is like fried rice from a ramen shop without any particular taste. The special soy sauce soup is a bit dark in color, but the taste is not as strong as it looks, with the soy sauce flavor first and then the seafood flavor spreading in your mouth. It goes well with the special fried rice. The rich white sesame tantanmen can be described in one word as an elegant white sesame tantanmen. The rich flavor of white sesame is strong but not overwhelming, making it a unique ramen that you can eat as much as you want. The special handmade dumplings are made from scratch, with a small size but filled with delicious filling. Thank you for the meal!

During the state of emergency. It's already past 7 o'clock and I've only had dinner. Maybe I should try a ramen shop I haven't been to before. It's called "Men Shou Matsukaze." I'm torn between soy sauce ramen and pork bone dipping noodles, but this time I ordered the pork bone dipping noodles for 850 yen. It arrived after a while. If you order without any options, it comes with chashu and seasoned egg. The flavor is a blend of pork bone with a hint of yuzu, suitable for dipping noodles. Honestly, it's a taste I've had quite a few times. It's orthodox but stable and simply delicious. The chashu is tender and good! You can add chicken chashu for an additional 100 yen, which was a nice option to have... There are currently only 3 reviews, but I think it will become a reasonably popular shop. Due to COVID, Osaka University has shifted completely to remote learning, resulting in fewer students, but once the situation improves and students return, I believe it will become bustling!

In addition to the default option, the noodle menu includes Half Soy Sauce (all half portions for ¥550), Soy Sauce Soup (noodles excluded for ¥500), Special Miso (¥790), Spicy Miso (¥850), Simple Mazesoba (¥590), Plus Mazesoba (¥690), Tonkotsu Tsukemen (¥850), and Extra Noodles (+¥100). [Soup]: The soup is a soy sauce flavor based on chicken, pork, with a hint of seafood and a slightly restrained oil content. It has a light and refreshing taste, low viscosity, with a light body. The noodle soup maker is personally flawless. I had miso ramen and tsukemen. It was delicious. Thank you! I was so engrossed in eating. I only said "Wow, this menma is huge!" but ate in silence. I wasn't very hungry, but I regretted eating too much. It's hard to gauge your stomach when sitting down. I couldn't walk properly afterwards. Next time, I'll go on an empty stomach!
