I am "Noronori" who mainly walks around eating lunch, mainly around Sakai. I sat at the counter seat. Even though it was after 11 o'clock, the table seats were full. It's amazing for a weekday! I had the 1,408 yen Konoha Don and Seiro Set Meal. The noodles that looked like soba were actually udon. When you eat it, it doesn't have the texture of soba. It's chewy. There were no konoha leaves in the Konoha Don. I think it won't be understood outside the Kansai region. The atmosphere was good and it was a nice restaurant. Thank you for the meal.

On this day, my niece joined us for a bowling tournament at Lalaport. We decided to have lunch at a restaurant in the food court first. The restaurant we chose had just opened on June 20th and seemed to be quite popular. It was a new udon restaurant from Kansai, so we couldn't resist trying it out. We had to wait for a table as there were only 2-3 groups ahead of us. The menu displayed outside the restaurant made it difficult to decide what to order, as it looked more like soba than udon. It turned out that the noodles were made from a blend of sixteen grains, not buckwheat flour. I ordered the "Ten Seiro" with an extra topping of natural jumbo shrimp tempura for an additional charge. The tempura included two shrimp, shiitake mushrooms, bell peppers, and seaweed. The noodles had a konjac-like texture and the tempura was a bit on the crispy side. The shrimp didn't seem particularly special. The total cost was over 2000 yen, which didn't seem worth it. My friend ordered the "Toritama Ten" with a large serving of udon, which looked more like traditional udon. The broth had a strong soy sauce and bonito flavor. The noodles were quite chewy. My niece had the "Kids Udon" with a warm broth, which was a nice touch. Overall, we were left wondering what the unique selling point of this restaurant was. Visit Date: August 2, 2023

I went to a udon restaurant at Izumi Rara Port for lunch. It is run by the Kiraku Group and seems to have recently opened. I tried the ●Tempura Udon Set with Inari for 1573 yen. The homemade udon had a good texture, not too much like soba. The tempura was crispy and delicious, and the inari sushi was served upside down. Overall, it was a mysterious treat. The kids' meal toy is luxurious!! It's surprisingly luxurious! You can choose to have no toy, but it's better to go for the one with a toy for an extra ¥100!

Chicken and Bamboo Shoot Tempura Udon for 1,298 yen. The tempura is delicious, crispy on the outside and the chicken tempura is tender with a pink color inside.

The tempura was delicious with a crispy texture. The udon, similar to soba, had a firm texture but was thin enough to slurp easily, and it paired well with the wasabi. The mixed rice had a nice crispy texture and was chewy, which I enjoyed.
