I've been hooked on sushi izakaya recently. As I get older, I understand the feeling of preferring fish over meat. I ordered the omakase set of 10 pieces and they were all delicious, it was amazing. The mentaiko cream cheese, which I had as an appetizer, was delicious and went well with the alcohol.

I used the glass-covered nice looking shop in front of the Shunyoshi Koban for the third time. [Ordered Menu] - Highball with strong carbonation, very refreshing. - Sushi 15 pieces, the ingredients were quite substantial and good. The prices are very reasonable, with 5 pieces for 899 yen, 7 pieces for 1099 yen, and 10 pieces for 1499 yen. [Impressions] I wonder if they are open until around 2 am. This is a place I tend to stop by on my way home. It's a great place to enjoy sushi at a very affordable price. Smoking is allowed. [Recommended Scene] A great option for a late-night meal. I went to a newly opened seafood izakaya in July with a friend. The place had a stylish glass exterior and inside, they were playing nostalgic Heisei era songs from when I was in elementary school. It brought back memories. We toasted with highballs. The sashimi platter had chu-toro, sea urchin, and striped jack, and it was delicious. The bay scallops, oysters, and crab vinegar trio were great accompaniments. The sushi they offered was large and satisfying. You could choose from sets of five, seven, or ten pieces, making it easy for individuals or groups. We finished with a comforting miso soup. This place is perfect for seafood lovers. Although I no longer stay out drinking until late, I heard they are open until 2 am. I'd love to drop by again. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the newly opened Ikeda Sengyo sushi restaurant in Haruyoshi on July 7th! The interior had a counter in the shape of a "く" and two raised seating areas, with nostalgic Heisei era music playing in the background. I ordered the following dishes: Ebi Mayo hand roll, Oyster and Crab Sunomono, Unzen Ham Yaki, 5-piece Chef's Choice Sushi, Toro Taku Maki, Crab Cream Croquette, Angel Shrimp Yukke, Bai Gai, and Ara Soup. The Chef's Choice Sushi comes in 5, 7, or 10 pieces, and I highly recommend trying it. The fish slices were thick and satisfying. The Ebi Mayo hand roll was surprisingly large and got me excited! The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and the service was great. The restaurant is open until 2pm, making it perfect for a second visit. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

This time, we went to Sushi Ikeda Sengyo located at 2-6-6 Haruyoshi, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City (VELROG Haruyoshi 1st floor). The restaurant opened near Haruyoshi intersection in July. They have a counter in the shape of a "コ" and two raised tatami seating. We started with a toast with draft beer!! Premium Malt is the choice. The appetizer was consommé simmered dish, I think. We ordered the assorted sashimi for 1389 yen, which included 4 types with 2 pieces each - salmon, striped jack, amberjack, and white fish. Unfortunately, there was no explanation provided. We also ordered corn tempura for 489 yen, as it is in season now and has a sweet taste. The black tsukune grill for 689 yen was indeed black and delicious with truffle sauce. The omakase sushi set of 10 pieces for 1499 yen had a good volume, although it was a bit disappointing not knowing the contents. The interesting part was the drink pricing system - the first drink is 500 yen, the second is 400 yen, the third is 300 yen, and the fourth is 100 yen. The eligible drinks include lemon sour, highball, shochu, etc. Looking forward to future visits. Thank you for the meal.

I visited Ikeda Sengyo, which opened in Haruyoshi in July. This restaurant mainly has counter seating. When I looked at the drink menu, I found a special offer in red letters - if you order up to 4 drinks, it will only cost 100 yen. This deal also applies to highballs, so it's quite a bargain. As for the snacks, as shown in the photo, we also ordered some sushi. We enjoyed our meal, taking full advantage of the 100 yen deal. Thank you for the delicious food!

Sushi izakaya where you can easily enjoy a variety of appetizers. The more you drink, the cheaper it gets! Great deal for heavy drinkers.

The restaurant was easy to enter and quite nice. The counter was spacious and gave a relaxed feeling. It seemed easy to go alone. The prices were reasonable so I could eat and drink without worry. The food was decent. The squid ink with wasabi was delicious and the fish was fresh and tasty. I had sea urchin and egg yolk rice as the finale! It was not sushi rice, but plain rice would have been better. Disappointing!
