Visited the restaurant with my boss. Surprisingly, my boss was pleased. I'm happy because coming to a place like this with my boss was a dream of mine. I wanted to do something like a typical salaryman. (Like when Hasegawa and Isono from Sazae-san drink sake at a food stall.)

I enjoyed a proper food stall experience with the permission of the landowner and various permits from local authorities, rather than just relying on Resona Bank's approval. I had a relaxing time chatting with the friendly mama-san and enjoying food and drinks with my tipsy self. The total cost was 3170 yen including tax. Located in Higashi-Osaka, in front of Resona Bank, this food stall offers oden. It's a long-standing establishment with a history of 60 years. Operating hours are from 10 pm to 4 am, with last entry at 3 am.

At midnight, there was an oden food stall near the Risona Bank on the industrial road that passed through Brandori Fussa. It was a standing bar where you could enjoy your food while standing. Since I was on a bicycle, I had oolong tea. There were customers enjoying highballs, canned chu-hi, and maybe even beer. In the center of the counter, there was a pot of oden stewing, and it was incredibly delicious. Natural conversations happened with other customers, and I had a great chat with a customer who loves traveling. The owner and the lady running the stall were working hard. Thank you for the meal.

It is located just outside the Busshozan Dori shopping street! This was my first visit. I heard that more young people have been coming here recently, possibly due to being introduced by YouTubers. The opening hours are posted on Instagram. I saw whale oden for the first time. I will try it next time. Thank you for the meal! I forgot to take a photo.

After enjoying delicious sushi at Ikichi-san, and with some time to spare before the opening hours of the street food oden shop, my friend and I had a fun time at a karaoke bar in Fushimi where my friend's bottle was kept. When I asked the mama of the karaoke bar if she had been to the oden shop nearby, she said she had and recommended the kikuna (chrysanthemum greens) because it was delicious. Around midnight, after having a good time at the karaoke bar, we, two slightly drunk middle-aged men, made our way north through the Fusshimi Brandori shopping street. We found a street food stall with a dimly lit red lantern near the bank. Excitedly, my friend and I entered the stall, where we were warmly welcomed by an older couple. We ordered some hot sake and oden - I chose daikon radish, beef tendon, fish cake, sausage, and egg. The oden broth was slightly sweet and rich. The daikon radish was tender, the beef tendon had a nice meaty texture that paired well with the slightly sweet broth, the fish cake was dark and flavorful, the sausage was reliably tasty, and the egg was an interesting addition. As we enjoyed our oden, we chatted with the couple who told us that their shop had been around for 60 years, open from around 10:30 pm to 4 am. My friend was surprised to learn that his company's second office was in Fushimi. We added some kikuna konjac to our order, which was quickly prepared in the oden pot. The blanched kikuna was a refreshing addition to our slightly intoxicated bodies. Street food oden is truly enjoyable. I would love to come back if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal!

Late at night, there was a tent food stall set up in front of the bank, and in the evening, they were simmering oden at the shops in the shopping district. It looked so delicious that I couldn't resist buying some. The oden is for takeout only, packed in containers with separate packs of mustard and broth. It would be more convenient if they used convenience store oden containers, but it might increase the cost. The oden was really flavorful, the best I've had recently. The tendon (beef sinew) was particularly delicious, showing the experience of a seasoned oden shop. The eggs and daikon were well-infused with flavor, having been simmered for an unbelievable amount of time. The taste was not overly strong, but rather subtle.

At night, a food stall appears in front of a certain bank. It has a history of over 50 years. The operating hours are from around 10 PM to around 4 AM. They offer a variety of drinks such as beer, shochu, chu-hai, and sake. The oden is delicious, and they also have menu items like onigiri, which is nice. It might be intimidating to go alone, but the owner's wife is friendly and easy to talk to, so you'll feel comfortable quickly. You can also take out the oden, even outside of the stall's operating hours. Across the street from a ramen shop, down a street behind it, you'll find the stall. Although the sign says it's a dry cleaner, there's a flag for oden outside. They also have a sandwich board, so you'll easily spot it. In front of the store, you'll see a round pot like the one at the stall, filled with oden. This place is takeout only, operating from around 4 PM to around 8 PM. Since the stall opens later at around 10 PM, if you want oden but the timing doesn't match, you can buy it here. It's a style of stall that is rarely seen nowadays, so I hope they stay healthy and keep up the good work.

There is a food stall where I always end up wanting to stop by for another drink after having a good time. It's only open late at night, so I can't visit often. That's why I usually end up going to Hanakujira in Fukushima. Walking from the shopping street towards the national highway, as the foot traffic diminishes, you'll see it after turning past the Resona Bank. Passing through the plastic sheet, you'll be greeted by a variety of oden dishes! The broth is slightly sweet but light and delicious. A unique touch is dipping red pickled ginger tempura, a popular dish in Osaka, into the broth for a crispy and tasty treat! It's a standing-only stall, so it can get tiring after a while. It's best to enjoy without overeating or overdrinking, just the right amount. They also offer unique shochu options, surprising for a food stall. The staff may seem a bit unapproachable at first glance, but they are friendly and engaging once you start chatting with them.

I had been curious about this oden (Japanese hot pot) restaurant for a while. At night, they set up a stall in front of the Resona Bank and operate. Across the street, there is a Chinese noodle shop called Sumiyoshi. It looks a bit shady, but I decided to visit and try it out. I arrived at the restaurant around 10:20 pm. Inside, surrounded by vinyl sheets, there was no big pot where the oden should be! I thought maybe they were closed for the day. I asked the female owner, and she said the oden would be brought out in about 5 minutes along with the pot. So, I decided to wait. While waiting, I chatted with the owner. I learned that this oden restaurant has been running for three generations and has been in business for 50 years. I had no idea it was such a historic place. They offer bottled beer, shochu, sake, canned chu-hai, and more. Customers seem to like the fact that they serve bottled beer instead of canned beer. After about 10 minutes of waiting, a man who seemed to be the husband brought the big pot on a cart. He placed it in the center of the table. There were plenty of ingredients in it. I ordered beef tendon x2, egg, bamboo ring, thick fried tofu, and daikon. It cost me 1040 yen. Since I was on a motorcycle, I decided to take it to go and promised myself to revisit. When I got home, I put the oden and broth in a plate and heated it up in the microwave. It was piping hot, and I dug in. First, I tried the beef tendon, my favorite. The lean part was tender and flavorful, while the fatty part was juicy. The seasoning was light, allowing the meat's flavor to shine through. Next, I tried the egg, which was soaked in flavor all the way through. Why are oden eggs so delicious? I regretted not getting two. The daikon was so soft it seemed like it would fall apart any moment. It was melt-in-your-mouth tender. The bamboo ring didn't have much flavor yet, probably because it hadn't been in the pot for long. I prefer my bamboo rings soft and squishy. The thick fried tofu was also tender and delicious, especially with some mustard on it. I look forward to eating at the stall next time. It was a delicious meal. Thank you!

After leaving Ajioshi, I finally arrived at the final destination (7th stop of the day). The name of the restaurant is simply "Oden-ya". The name was established recently, after the current third-generation female proprietor took over. Before that, it was known as "Takaida's Oden-ya". It's been about two years since my last visit, but they remembered me, which made me very happy. I ordered shochu. The daikon is so flavorful. The thick fried tofu is also soaked in plenty of broth and delicious. There is a photo that I have no memory of at all. It must be the tempura red pickled ginger, so it's definitely my friend's order. Silly me. The Negima skewers are without leeks, right? They also have Kin-Murishima and Akautsuki, which is impressive. The steam rising from the large pot at the food stall on a cold day. Just looking at this view makes me feel like I could drink about two cups of sake. Let's finish with a tamago (egg). It was a fun night of drinking with my friends. I will come again, so please continue to operate for a long time. Thank you for the meal.

Towards the end of the year, both at work and in my personal life, I found myself in a "I can't handle this anymore" mode. In times like this, I need a fresh start with some alcohol to clear my mind, and that's why I decided to have a solo New Year's party. The last stop of the night was this food stall. Back in my younger days, I used to work nearby and often brought my subordinates to this shop. It had been a while since I last visited, but a friend reintroduced me to it recently. It was around 3 am, and I was quite drunk, so I decided to take some food home to have for lunch the next day. I initially specified what I wanted - potatoes, umekyu, and ginger tempura - but being quite tipsy, I also asked the staff to add whatever they recommended. The ginger tempura is soaked in dashi broth, and you can choose to have it soaked at the shop or do it yourself at home. The staff recommended doing it at home for better taste, so I did just that. With various ingredients added, the total came to around 1520 yen. The daikon radish was so tender that it was hard to pick up with chopsticks, and the bamboo shoots soaked in broth were delicious. My family loved it. I enjoyed the ginger tempura on rice like a tempura rice bowl, and it was perfect for easing my hangover the next day. I know of a few similar oden shops in FUSE, but this one is my favorite because it's open late (until around 4 am) and has a great atmosphere. I'll definitely visit again.

There are no chairs in this shop, but you can enjoy beer, sake, canned chu-hi, etc. Even late at night, you can get oden starting from 100 yen, but since there is no kitchen, the shop closes when the ingredients run out, so be aware that many items may be sold out at late hours. The large pot of oden is placed in the center of the counter, and it is filled with the master's thoughts, so touching it without permission is not allowed. In the past, a slightly drunk gentleman stuck chopsticks in the pot and was asked to leave by the master. When the winter wind is strong, the body can get cold easily due to drafts, so warm up with oden and alcohol. Sometimes, it's nice to have a drink in a place like this.

On this day, I was supposed to go out drinking, but due to work, I ended up joining really late. Even though we had planned to meet at 7:00 PM, I didn't make it until around 11:30 PM. The place we met up at was about to close, so I just got a beer and left. We decided to go for a few more drinks, and ended up at this place, which I had never heard of before but apparently is quite famous in Fuse. It's a standing-style food stall serving oden that opens at night in front of Resona Bank on Sangyo-doro. The dimly lit surroundings with the oden lantern shining alone in the darkness. I've seen oden stalls in TV dramas and movies, but I've never been to one, so I was super excited. When we lifted the noren curtain and looked inside, we were lucky to find no other customers, just us. It seemed like a mother was running the place on her own. In the middle, there was a big pot of oden, and you could help yourself to whatever you wanted. You put the skewers in a container, and then they calculate the bill later. They had red and gold shochu, as well as other drinks like chu-hai and barley shochu. They also had onigiri displayed, but I couldn't take a good photo of them. They even had whale red meat. I ordered a red shochu highball and started sampling the oden. The "bamboo shoots" were cooked really well, with the flavor soaked in nicely. The crunchiness was still there, and the texture was great. When you bite into it, the sweet oden broth spreads in your mouth. Delicious! The "fish cake" is a must-have when it comes to oden. This one had a nice color and was very appetizing. It had a sweet taste from the fish cake, but the broth's umami flavor had soaked in well. Yummy! The "beef tendon" was quite large. It had a nice color and seemed to be well-seasoned. It was very tender, and you could eat it without having to chew much. I also got a bit of thin fried tofu, which I imagine would be delicious in kitsune udon. Overall, everything was well-seasoned and tasty. When I asked the mother about the place, she said they've been in business for 50 years. It's been running since her grandmother's time, and she's the third generation. I was amazed by the rich history of the place. I feel like I could easily get hooked on this place. It would be perfect if they had chairs instead of just standing, so you could relax a bit. But for a quick bite and drink, it's great. Full and satisfied, thank you for the meal.

Located on the left side after passing through the arcade to the north of Fuse Station, near the Resona Fuse Exit. This is a rare street food oden shop in Osaka. It's a bit far from the station and the area is pleasantly dark. They serve deliciously flavored oden and other dishes. A great place to visit for a casual meal after drinking. Amazing street food oden.

I was curious about this oden restaurant for a while (*^_^*) It seemed like a place where locals frequent a lot, so I was hesitant to go in, but I gathered my courage and decided to try it out ✨✨ This time, I had daikon radish, shirataki noodles, beef tendon, potatoes, konjac, bamboo shoots, pickled plums, and Vienna sausages. Everything was delicious♪ Although nothing made me go "Wow, this is amazing!", everything was just tasty. My favorites were the beef tendon and potatoes ★★ I regret not trying the egg... Also, they were sold out of cabbage rolls, so I'll have to go back for a rematch next time (*^_^*) The broth was lightly sweet. Most of all, the staff were very friendly and chatted with us about various things, which made the experience enjoyable. I'm glad I gathered the courage to go. Thank you very much (^O^)
