A small restaurant located on the second floor along the Tosabori River in Nakanoshima. I was drawn to this place because I caught a glimpse of a white chef's hat from Chikuzen Bridge, but I thought it looked expensive. To my surprise, they offer reasonably priced lunches, so I decided to stop by during my company's lunch break. As I climbed the stairs, I noticed a red carpet, and upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted by a display of premium cuts of meat. The seating is arranged along a long teppanyaki counter with a river view, reminiscent of a high-end hotel teppanyaki restaurant. The lunch menu ranges from a 1,000 yen vegetable lunch to a daily special priced at 1,200 yen (limited to 10 servings). The salad was served first, and the ingredients were cooked in front of me, which was unexpected for the price. Today's special was fish, and it was delicious - crispy skin, perfectly cooked thick flesh. For 1,200 yen, it was a steal! In addition to the salad, rice, soup, and pickles were also included. I wonder if they serve meat on other days for the daily special? This restaurant seems like a place where you can encounter unexpectedly delightful flavors and surprises. Although the overall ratings may not be very high according to other reviews, I am starting to question the standards of Tabelog. The view of the Tosabori River may not be great during the day, but I bet it would be amazing at night. I will definitely come back. Thank you for the meal!

Renowned chef who trained at a famous hotel prepared a special dinner. Today, we celebrated our anniversary ahead of August 4th (Hashi's day). Even though we don't have much money (as always), I am happy to be with Hashi, who is rich in spirit. The restaurant's atmosphere was top-notch, and the food was beyond amazing. The cheerful chef exuded a sunny aura, and the staff were lovely. We had an exquisite time together. I was amazed to hear about the chef's impressive career. The dishes were wrapped in "love," "humor," and "creativity." Every aspect - the space, time, hospitality - was a luxurious gift. The anniversary plate they presented at the end symbolized "two becoming one." It was truly a happy moment. In the upscale setting, every moment was filled with excitement. By the way, the dessert plate we had was the most expensive among the restaurant's exquisite collection of tableware. It was deeply moving to think about the many happy occasions it had been a part of. While the cuisine had a Western touch, there were moments where I felt a sense of "Japanese" too. Perhaps it was reflected in the chef's demeanor. His modesty, manners, and heart were truly wonderful. I visited Kurabitto's lunch for the first time. I was looking forward to it as my colleague had told me it was really delicious. I ordered the daily lunch special. The bacon and dried young sardines salad was absolutely delicious! I was wondering how they seasoned it. The hamburger cooked on the teppan in front of me was also amazing. There's no way it wouldn't be delicious. The grated sauce was also delicious and I enjoyed the hamburger as well. I will definitely visit again.

Cooking is a combination of science and art! The words of Owner Chef Kurashige from the creative teppanyaki restaurant Soujin on Nakanoshima are truly inspirational. Just saying "delicious" doesn't do it justice. This restaurant offers an experience that can only be understood by those who have been there. It is said that the owner personally selects each ingredient to suit the reserved customers. The attention to detail in the distance between the chef and the guests, as well as the carefully selected ingredients, is remarkable. The timing of serving the dishes, down to 0.1 or 0.2 seconds, is impeccable. For those who are not fond of raw vegetables, a warm Japanese dressing is served with tofu underneath to prevent the body from getting cold. The care and consideration shown in making the komatsuna just the right texture by pouring warm dressing over it was amazing! Despite the meticulous attention to detail, the chef is not as strict as one might expect, and is rather charming. The conversation over the counter was enjoyable, and watching the chef's cooking right in front of you was like witnessing magic.

I climbed the red carpeted stairs to the second floor. Inside the restaurant, there is a counter and private rooms in the back. I sat in front of the counter, enjoying dinner while looking at the river. I ordered the Hela meat and sirloin. For dessert, I ordered garlic rice. The rice was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It was delicious.

The fish dishes include trout salmon spring rolls with dill, served with a soy-flavored cream sauce. Here are the dishes I tried today: - Appetizer: Miyazaki beef rib and oyster. The oyster adds a nice flavor to the beef, enhancing its sweetness when eaten together. - Assorted appetizers: Seared beef liver, smoked salmon, Miyazaki beef rib yukhoe. - Today's fish dish: Sea bream soup. Cooked in a bag on the teppan, the aroma is delightful and the flavor is deep and delicious. - Salad: Bacon and dried baby sardines are stir-fried in front of you to make the dressing. - Miyazaki beef sirloin: Served with various vegetables and cooked to a perfect medium rare. The rich flavor of the sirloin is exquisite. - The restaurant offers a variety of salts to accompany the dishes, including Himalayan rock salt, Hiroshima Kure's Moji O salt, dashi salt with kombu, bonito, shiitake, scallop, and their original brand salt. - Tamago kake gohan: Made with rich and creamy eggs, the dish is refreshing with a slightly acidic dashi. - Dessert: Pink grapefruit jelly. ☆ Creative Teppanyaki Restaurant Kurabito ☆ A new creative teppanyaki restaurant, Kurabito, has opened in Nakanoshima, Osaka. When I visited for the first time, the master chef was amazing and really knew how to make an impact. My icon is a large abalone, so he made the best abalone steak of the day for me. It was truly a divine experience! The omakase course by Master Kurabito costs ¥19800 and includes: - Appetizer: Miyazaki beef and oyster - 3 kinds of appetizers: Miyazaki beef yukhoe, steamed abalone, sea urchin chawanmushi - Salad: Komatsuna salad - Seafood main: Extra-large abalone steak - Meat main: Miyazaki beef sirloin steak - Finale: Kurabito's special garlic rice - Soup: Delicious miso soup - Extra: Gesso and Yossy (Osaka-style grilled squid) There are many different restaurants out there, each with its own charm. I particularly love restaurants where the master chef's personality shines through. Engaging conversations make the food taste even better, adding the perfect spice to the experience.
