When I was in elementary school, I had some octopus balls that were incredibly delicious. It got me really excited, just like KFC does. But now, when I eat them, they're not as amazing as I remember. They're just okay. I tried them again recently and they were just average. I ordered 9 octopus balls for 450 yen and a pork okonomiyaki for 400 yen. The company that operates the restaurant is Dream Advance Co., Ltd., which was founded in 1994 with the opening of "Janbo Sohon-ten" in Osaka. In 2005, they changed their organization to Dream Advance Co., Ltd. and started franchising "Janbo Sohon-ten". They have expanded their business to include "Kushikatsu Kawahara" in 2008 and "Naruto Taiyaki Honpo" in 2009. In 2012, they established an Italian business division. They have a total of 146 stores with sales of 4.1 billion yen as of April 2012. Thank you for the meal.

(Shishi-odoshi) Kon! I was able to compose it well. During Golden Week, it's a week to strengthen foodie adventures. For dinner, I decided to get some okonomiyaki to go. Located right near Midoribashi Station, at the intersection of Chuodori and Imazumisugi, is Janbo Main Store. They stay open late, making them a strong ally for those struggling to eat out. - Okonomiyaki - Butatama (pork and egg) - 380 yen tax included The dashi (broth) is flavorful. The fluffy batter has a sweetness from the cabbage. Janbo Main Store always delivers a consistent taste. Thank you for the meal.

▼Location▼ Located on the southwest corner of the Mido-Suji and Chuo-dori intersection at the Mido-bashi intersection above Osaka Metro Midoribashi Station. ▼About the Shop▼ Established as a small takoyaki shop in Osaka Ikuno and gained popularity. In the 2000s, gradually expanded its stores and now operates a popular chain of takoyaki, okonomiyaki, and yakisoba takeout shops mainly in Osaka Prefecture, with some locations in the Kanto region. This Midoribashi Station store is located on one corner of the Mido-bashi intersection. ▼Menu▼ Mainly offers takoyaki, okonomiyaki, and yakisoba for takeout. ▼Food Ordered▼ ▽ Takoyaki (6 pieces) 350 yen ▽ (May 2022) Chose salt flavor with mayonnaise. The slightly larger takoyaki with a good amount of mayonnaise are served in a pack of 6. The takoyaki, cooked to perfection, has a soft inside with a nice dashi flavor, a well-balanced salty taste enhanced by the mayonnaise's mildness. The octopus inside is not too big but has a nice tenderness, overall quite delicious. ▼Impressions▼ (May 2022) Established as a takoyaki shop in Ikuno in 1994. Since around 2003, they have gradually expanded their stores and now have over 100 popular chain stores specializing in takoyaki, okonomiyaki, and yakisoba takeout, mainly in Osaka Prefecture and the Kansai region, as well as in the Kanto region. This branch is located right above Osaka Metro Midoribashi Station at the southwest corner of the Mido-Suji and Chuo-dori intersection. This time, I purchased the above takoyaki at this branch. The slightly larger, soft type of takoyaki was quite delicious, with a good balance of salt and mayonnaise flavors. I would like to try their yakisoba next time, as I often eat takoyaki at Jumbo.

I received a gift of yakisoba. The noodles are thick and have a chewy and firm texture that feels really nice. The ingredients include pork belly and large chunks of cabbage. The richness and smokiness of the pork belly, the crunchy texture of the cabbage. The balance of the sauce is exquisite. The pickled ginger served on the side tightens the aftertaste and brings the whole flavor together. Omusoba is a luxurious version of delicious yakisoba wrapped in egg. When the umami of the egg is added to the chewy noodles coated in delicious sauce, it becomes unbeatable. Okonomiyaki Butatama is very fluffy even with plenty of cabbage. The light texture allows you to easily finish it in one bite, it is a delicious batter. The umami of the pork meat matches well with the sweet and fruity sauce. The basic menu at Janbo is takoyaki, okonomiyaki, and yakisoba. They are delicious on their own, but you can also add toppings like green onions, kimchi, cheese, and eggs to customize them. This time I received an omusoba, an adaptation of yakisoba, but I am curious about other toppings as well. Looking forward to the next gift, lol.

I received a treat of yakisoba. The noodles were thick and had a chewy and firm texture, which was very pleasant. The ingredients included pork belly and large pieces of cabbage. The richness and fragrance of the pork belly, along with the crunchy texture of the cabbage, were delightful. The balance of the sauce was exquisite. The pickled red ginger served on the side added a refreshing touch to the overall flavor. The okonomiyaki with pork was filled with plenty of cabbage but still had a fluffy texture. The light and fluffy batter made it easy to eat, with a delicious flavor that paired well with the savory pork and sweet fruity sauce. The okonomiyaki with squid was also filled with cabbage and had a fluffy texture. The occasional chewiness of the squid added a nice touch to the texture. The sweet fruity sauce was to my liking. I received a treat of yakisoba and okonomiyaki from Janbo. While I have had Janbo's dishes many times before, I was pleasantly surprised by the deliciousness of the ones I had from the Midoribashi Ekimae branch this time. I understand that flavors may vary depending on the location and the chef, but after experiencing this level of deliciousness, I can't help but think about making the effort to visit the Midoribashi Ekimae branch in the future.
