Shatoreze is a popular sweets shop. I was watching the cars coming in and out in front of Sushiro Nogata store, where there is a Shatoreze Nogata. Personally, I'm not a fan of cakes with fruit on them because I don't like the mix of fruit and cream flavors. So when it comes to cake with fruit, I usually lick the cream first before eating the fruit. I prefer cakes from chocolate shops with only strawberries on them, maybe because there are not many toppings. As usual, I licked the cream first and then took a bite of the fruit. The fruit was sweet and delicious. Sometimes the fruit can taste bitter because the cream is sweet, but Shatoreze uses good quality fruit. It's affordable and delicious, like a priceless chocolate shop.

Delicious croissant! It had sugar on top, and when I toasted it in an open toaster, it became crispy and even more delicious!

I went to a garden shop nearby and on the way back, I thought of stopping by "Chatelaine" because I felt like having ice cream. Chatelaine's ice cream is delicious yet reasonably priced!! I tried the mango ice cream for the first time and it was surprisingly delicious!! It reminded me of the mango ice cream I used to love from Caldi. The texture is also amazing!! I think I'm hooked on this now!! I also bought "cherry mochi" for guests. They also have seasonal fruits like Kyoho grapes or muscat grapes, right? The "cherry mochi" is also pretty good!! Visited on January 15, 2012. After filling up at Makino Udon Imajuku store, I decided to buy dessert on my way out. The first thing that caught my eye was the Baumkuchen and Financier tasting corner. I happily tried them out. They were moist and delicious, but a bit too sweet for my liking. They would go well with bitter coffee (laughs). I ended up buying more than I planned because the prices were reasonable. The fluffy roll cake (399 yen) was about 15 centimeters long and had great value for money! It had a bit of custard cream inside the whipped cream. I definitely want to buy this again. The matcha and green tea ice bar (63 yen) had a very subtle matcha flavor. The morning mugwort dumpling (42 yen) was eaten by my boyfriend, who remained silent while eating it (laughs). I wonder how it tasted. I had high hopes for the rare cheesecake pudding (126 yen) but unfortunately, it didn't suit my taste. I couldn't tell if it was cheese pudding or just milk pudding. The country pies with pumpkin and walnuts (each 63 yen) are still resting in the fridge. I will update after trying them. They are mass-produced, so the value for money is great. However, there are some misses among the products. I may not have a refined palate, but my review turned out to be a bit critical. The roll cake is also available in slices and I recommend it because it was delicious.

I went there because there was an advertisement (*^◯^*) Sometimes when I see a Shatoreize ad, I can't help but go there. Shatoreize is known for using minimal additives and having affordable prices. I enjoy their seasonal products. Whenever I go, I always buy the rich baked cheesecake for 231 yen, the strawberry and banana big roll for 189 yen, the double cream puff with matcha for 105 yen, the no-additive pudding made with fresh farm eggs for 94 yen, and the cream daifuku for 84 yen. I think they are all really great deals. I'll go again when I see the next ad♪
