The showcase is filled with cakes, macarons, and plenty of baked goods. This patisserie used to hold a buffet with 3 cakes and all-you-can-eat macarons (ended in 2019), and it was one of the places I wanted to visit. This time, I found out about the return of the macaron all-you-can-eat through a post from a follower and decided to visit (the timing of the post was really perfect, thank you so much for the helpful post ✨). Currently, it is not a buffet with cakes, but you can enjoy all-you-can-eat authentic macarons, and you also get one soft serve ice cream with it. You must have at least one soft serve ice cream in Hokkaido! The macaron flavors were Coco Mango and Pesche Blanc, limited to the season. In addition, there are a total of 20 standard flavors ✨ The macarons are slightly larger than those of Dalloyau, with a glossy and beautiful appearance, a smooth texture, and a perfect amount of pied. At first, I thought, "Oh, why not start the timer after the macarons arrive?" But since there is no limit on the quantity per order, I didn't feel like I needed more (it was just right for me). The macarons included matcha with yuzu confit, Sebon with raspberry jelly, Ganache with a crispy chocolate flavor enhanced with salt, and Orangette with black pepper-infused orange, among others. The MVP was "Le Diamant," a macaron with apricot jelly inside almond milk. Were macarons always this delicious?! Each one had a distinct personality, and even when blindfolded, you could tell the flavors. The soft serve ice cream, which you can order once with a voucher, was served generously in a cup. I chose coffee (cafe) ☕️ with chocolate dough at the bottom, making it resemble a parfait. → My companion chose "Peach" with compote fruit on top. I originally planned to order a cake separately if there was room, but I was full from the macarons! I was very grateful that the promotion was available on a weekday. It made me a bit nervous about whether it applied during the Obon festival, but I was very thankful that it did. Next to me, local girls were happily enjoying their meal, and I couldn't help but think that macarons suit those girls the best (●´ω`●) Macarons are the best! ✨

Birthday Eve Sapporo store in Higashi-ku, Sapporo. The area is known as Mikabo. The main store is actually located in Kitami. I ordered a box of 5 macarons for ¥1,450 and also ordered tiramisu and cream puffs. This shop offers a wide variety of macarons. Even though I don't usually eat macarons, I found the light texture of the dough and the variety of flavors here to be delicious. However, I did feel like it was a bit expensive. The tiramisu was also delicious. It's easy to understand the popular and recommended items, making it easy for even non-regular customers to make a purchase. It was a bit concerning when the lights were turned off right after I left near closing time, but overall, it was a good experience. Thank you for the meal. 1-1-1 Higashi 8-1, Kita 22, Higashi-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido Birthday Eve, Birthday Eve Sapporo store, Kitami main store, macaron, Higashi-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido gourmet, Sapporo gourmet, Hokkaido sweets, Sapporo sweets, cream puff

I came to try BirthdayEve's limited parfait! Strawberry and pistachio parfait. There were plenty of pistachios and strawberries, and it was delicious. Antanse is famous for their chocolate cake and macarons, but their soft serve and parfaits are also quite good!

- Chocolate Orange (500 yen including tax) - New York Cheesecake (410 yen including tax) I chose the cheesecake. The cheesecake has a cookie crust at the bottom and is baked for one hour. The cheese flavor is more sweet than sour, and the cake itself is moist. - Hojicha Pudding (235 yen including tax) - Smooth Pudding (235 yen including tax) I chose the smooth pudding. It is sweet with a smooth texture as the name suggests. There is a crunchy caramel at the bottom.

I bought a shortcake for Christmas. I got Tiramisu, Ghana, Madame P, and one more without a reservation. It's hard to find normal cakes at other stores during Christmas, so it was really helpful. I always end up buying Tiramisu without even realizing it.

When November comes, it starts to get cold, but there is still some warmth during the day, so I felt like having soft serve ice cream and went to Birthday Eve. Despite being an old man, I ate quite a bit of soft serve ice cream this year. The parking lot in front of the store and the inside of the store were both moderately crowded. The store is spacious, with various items like macarons, baked goods, and cakes. The prices are reasonable. Today, I had the soft serve ice cream. I ordered it in a cone from an SDGs perspective. It had a strong taste of fresh cream and a smooth texture. The only downside was that it was a bit small. I wish they would give a bit more. Since I did not try the cakes or macarons, this review is provisional.

After lunch, I came to this shop to buy a Mother's Day cake. I bought: Chef's favorite shortcake for 507 yen, pudding a la mode for 442 yen, and tart Plantanie for 502 yen. I ate the pudding a la mode. It was a bit sweet but delicious. I wonder if macarons are their specialty.

I came looking for baked sweets. Since I came all this way, I also feel like getting some fresh cake. I chose the most popular Antans and a cream puff. Antans is popular for a reason, with a reliably delicious taste. It's quite rich chocolate, but surprisingly easy to eat in one go. It's currently my number one chocolate cake of all time. The cream puff is also great, not too sweet, with a gentle cream that's not too heavy.

This is a cake shop located along Higashi 8-Chome Kosei Line in Higashi Ward. The main store seems to be in Kitami and they have expanded to Sapporo. There is parking space for about 10 cars. The interior has about 3 small tables for dining, and even though it's a weekday afternoon around 1 pm, there are already 2 groups of customers. Their cakes include the classic strawberry shortcake and strawberry chiffon cake, but the strawberry shortcake is recommended by the chef and seems to be the second most popular item. The cream is not too sweet and the sponge is light and delicious. The Mont Blanc is tasty for its price, but it might be better without the cookie inside. They also have a chocolate Mont Blanc which I would like to try next time. There are many macarons available, indicating their popularity. Some customers also ordered soft serve ice cream, so it must be good too. As a long-established shop, their cakes are well-made and reasonably priced. If you live nearby, it's worth stopping by to buy and try their cakes.

Today is our beloved dog's birthday, so we celebrated with some treats. The chocolate was as sticky as ever, getting stuck in our gums, but we love it! And we tried shortcake for the first time, and it was so delicious! The raspberry sauce in the middle was just perfect. Yum! And of course, can't forget the drinks! Thank you for the feast!

When I went back to my parents' house, I had the chance to eat cream puffs and macarons. I don't usually eat macarons, and I'm not a big fan, but the ones here had a firm texture and rich cream inside! I was very satisfied. They are colorful and have a variety of flavors, so they might make a good gift for friends.

[Birthday Eve Sapporo Store] This patisserie is known for its wide variety of macarons. I came here to try their parfait, which can also be enjoyed in the eat-in area. Although they have seasonal parfaits, I decided to go with the regular one this time, as the current seasonal one seemed to be very sweet with lots of chocolate. I ordered the "Fruit Parfait," which had a colorful presentation. The macarons on top added a stylish touch, and the assorted berries were beautiful. However, I felt like it could use a bit more flair to enhance the overall look. The parfait included two types of macarons, soft serve ice cream, small pieces of fruit (kiwi and a few others), sponge cake, and small strawberry slices. I appreciated the soft serve ice cream as I'm not a fan of heavy whipped cream. The soft serve had a rich milk flavor and was delicious. The fruit portions were a bit small overall, and the sponge cake layer could benefit from having cream or ice cream in between to prevent it from being too dry. I thought it would be nice if they placed the strawberries between the sponge cake layers at the bottom. The seating and sales areas were well spaced out with vinyl dividers, temperature checks at the entrance, and thorough infection prevention measures in place, which made me feel safe and comfortable during my visit. The cookies and cakes available for takeout were cute and festive, with some Christmas-themed items on display. Although I mainly dined in, I couldn't resist buying some adorable treats as souvenirs for my colleagues. The parking lot was spacious and easy to navigate, making it a convenient option for picking up gifts for gatherings.

I really wanted to eat a parfait, so I went to a restaurant where takeout is available. Caramel Chocolat Parfait for 864 yen. The chocolate ice cream on top is incredibly rich. As you go down, there are rich chocolate cake and light ice cream, so you won't get tired of it. It includes the most popular chocolate cake at the restaurant, making it irresistible for chocolate lovers. It's so rich that it feels like my nose might start bleeding. Haha. It's just the right size for two people!

Around 1 pm, while taking a walk in Motomachi, I happened to come across a famous shop where the owner apparently trained at Pierre Hermé Paris. Each pastry cost 200 yen, which is a normal price. I bought 5 pastries, including the most popular one with raspberry. The taste was well-balanced between the cream and the dough, making you want more. They have over 20 flavors available at all times, and I'm curious about trying other flavors as well. I heard that they also offer cafe-like menu items such as Shine Muscat parfait in their eat-in space. If I have the chance, I would like to try them again as it was a shop that left a good impression on me.

On a certain holiday, when the number of tourists in Hokkaido had already increased, I found the perfect timing to order a cake for my mother's birthday from a popular cake shop located in Higashi-ku, Kitaku 22-jo Higashi 8-chome. I placed the order the day before, and when I arrived in the morning on the actual day, I noticed that there were quite a few customers in the shop, indicating its popularity. I picked up the "Whole Cake 4th Size 12cm with Macarons (2700 yen)" that I had pre-ordered. I went to my parents' house, lit some candles in a nice spot, performed a little ceremony, and then took a bite of the cake. The cake had four large macarons on top, the cream was milky with just the right amount of sweetness and oiliness, and the small varieties of strawberries on top and inside, along with the moist sponge cake, were delicious. The macarons were all different flavors, but without cutting them into pieces to taste each one separately, I enjoyed each one as a whole. Thanks to this cake, my mother was very happy. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the restaurant because I really wanted to eat a parfait. Surprisingly, you can get a parfait for only around 700 to 800 yen here! As expected in the eastern district. It's half the price of eating in the city center. I ordered the sweet potato parfait for 700 or 800 yen and the Shine Muscat parfait for 1400 yen. The Shine Muscat parfait is filled with an abundance of Shine Muscat grapes! It's a great deal. It's delicious on its own, but even better when eaten with soft serve ice cream. Inside, there's custard cream, sponge cake, and finally Shine Muscat jelly. It's a steal for 1400 yen! The sweet potato parfait is also full of sweet potato flavor! The sweet potatoes on top have a strong flavor. There's also paste, red bean paste, and white dumplings inside, perfect for those who love Japanese-style sweets. And at the bottom, I thought it was purple sweet potato, but it turned out to be black currant. The tartness adds a nice touch. Both parfaits were more delicious than their price suggests.

I happened to be nearby while shopping, so I decided to stop by to buy some sweets for home. The shop also has a cafe space, so you can take a break there as well. They sell various sweets such as baked goods and cakes, but they seem to have a wide variety of macarons, which are their specialty. I purchased a box of 5 macarons for 1,220 yen. There were about 18 flavors to choose from, and I selected Chocolate, Coffee, Pistachio, Chocolate, and Earl Grey. The outer texture was light and crispy. Each flavor had its own unique characteristics and they were all delicious, although I personally found them a bit too sweet as I'm not a fan of overly sweet treats. At around 250 yen per piece, they are not cheap, but my wife also said they were delicious, so I think they would be great for macaron lovers.
