I stopped by for a break. This was my third time at HACHI. Luckily, I was able to sit right away this time. I ordered the drink set. As always, they served the ice cream first... it melts too fast. I enjoyed the other sweets slowly after finishing the ice cream. The sweetness and portion size were just right, and I always finish everything. However, I'm still not a fan of the green tea tea bags. By the way, everyone except us was from overseas, and I couldn't help but wonder which country this was. When we left, there was a long line (mostly foreign customers). I will visit again leisurely. Thank you for the meal.

Feeling tired from walking, I decided to take a break at a cafe...didn't want to wait too long. Since my husband has never been to a matcha cafe, we chose this one.
- Yame Green Tea: I decided to try the famous Kyushu tea, Yame tea. It was delicious, but I was a bit disappointed that it was in a tea bag. I chose a hot one since my stomach wasn't feeling well.
- Matcha Shake: My husband ordered this. It was not too sweet, with a refreshing and crunchy texture. We also visited the rooftop garden at Fukuoka Station building. There was a space for children to play, which looked fun! The view was not as good as yesterday's Fukuoka Tower, but the lush greenery created a lovely atmosphere.

I stopped by for lunch. The sweets are famous, but the lunch was also quite good. I chose the "New York Deli Lunch (with soup and natural yeast bread)" with a warm Japanese red tea. The interior of the restaurant is a bit dark. It might be a good cafe for couples.

I ordered a hot matcha latte and matcha zenzai. The hot matcha latte is quite bitter. It comes with sugar, but it's still quite bitter. I think it would be better to order something sweet along with it. The matcha in the matcha zenzai is quite strong, and the sweet red bean paste inside is very sweet, so it's just right when ordered separately. The price is around 1300 yen for the set, which is on the cheaper side on the menu.

Matcha cafes are so relaxing! My friend and I, who are not good with alcohol, often come here. Matcha cafes really do help you unwind. The drinks are delicious too! There are a lot of women here, as expected. Matcha is still our eternal favorite treat! ❤️

"I have to go since it says 'Kumamoto Delicious Support Store Campaign'. It's a stylish restaurant on the 9th floor of JR Hakata City. There are several branches in Fukuoka city. The interior is calm with table seating. It doesn't seem like a place to go for lunch on weekdays. I ordered the campaign special 'Kumamoto Southern Vegetable Special Deli Lunch' for 1580 yen + extra portion for 100 yen including tax. It was loaded with baby leaf, snow peas, lotus root, pumpkin, and more. It was delicious with yuzu dressing jelly."

There are many cafes around Hakata Station, but many of them have narrow seating and are not very relaxing. However, this cafe is different and you can spend a leisurely time here. Last time, I ordered matcha ice cream, matcha cheesecake, and matcha mochi plate, which were all delicious, so I decided to visit again. This time, I planned to order matcha parfait or sweet potato parfait, but the cafe was full. The staff recommended their seasonal special, the chestnut matcha parfait, so I ordered that along with an iced matcha latte. The chestnuts in the parfait were delicious, and the vibrant green matcha cream was rich and tasty. The only downside was the strange jelly at the bottom, which had a weird sour taste and was not enjoyable. I wonder if all the parfaits here have this jelly? It was difficult to swallow, so I ended up leaving it. Despite that, this is still a favorite cafe of mine, so I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

When passing by the store, there is always a line of people waiting to enter, so it's better to go when you have some extra time. I went around lunchtime on a holiday and there were still about 10 groups waiting. The seating inside the store is spacious, so you can feel at ease. Looking at the menu, there are various items using matcha such as tiramisu, roll cake, parfait, warabi mochi, cheesecake, and more. They even have a sweet potato parfait. I was interested in many items on the menu and wanted to try a few desserts, but I felt a bit embarrassed and ended up ordering matcha cheesecake and matcha ice latte only. The wait time was not too long. The matcha cheesecake was served with matcha ice cream and a small amount of warabi mochi on the side. I had never had the opportunity to taste matcha at a regular cafe chain, so I was surprised by the intense and vibrant green color of the matcha. When I tried it, the strong matcha aroma and flavor spread out and it was really delicious. I want to visit regularly and try all the dessert items on the menu. Thank you for the meal.

This is my first visit. I ordered matcha tiramisu and green tea at a cafe on the 9th floor of Hakata Station. The tiramisu was firmer than I expected. I was hoping for a more creamy tiramisu, so I was a little disappointed. However, the matcha itself was delicious.

I visited this place on the 9th floor of JR Hakata Station. There was no wait at 2:00 pm on a weekday. I ordered the "Matcha Shake" and it was served in about 10 minutes. It was very cold with fine ice mixed in. The flavor of matcha combined with sweetness was delicious.

I purchased plain, roasted green tea, and strawberry flavored canelés, each costing around 200 yen. Canelés can be a hit or miss for some people, but the ones here, except for the plain one, don't have a strong rum flavor, so even those who don't like rum should be fine. The outside is well-baked, while the inside is moist with a nice bitterness and moderate sweetness. I personally prefer the roasted green tea flavor. Next time, I would like to try the matcha parfait in the store.

We are a couple who love matcha, so we decided to try out this shop we stumbled upon. The result was amazing! The atmosphere, drinks, and most importantly, the matcha sweets were incredibly delicious. Among all the famous matcha sweets we've tried, this one currently holds the number one spot in our lives. We are willing to visit Hakata again just to go to this shop.

Around 6:30 pm, I went to the 9th floor of JR Hakata City and found that there were not many people due to the spread prevention measures in place. I was craving something sweet, so I went to Matcha Cafe Hachi.
- Matcha and Red Bean Tart with Ice Cream + Iced Cafe Latte 1353 yen
- Matcha New York Cheesecake with Ice Cream + Iced Cafe Latte 1353 yen
The Matcha and Red Bean Tart was delicious with a strong red bean flavor. The Matcha New York Cheesecake was quite rich and heavy, so I think a lighter option would be better. The atmosphere inside the cafe is calm and it's a great place to relax and have tea alone or with friends. I would like to try their parfait or shaved ice when it gets warmer.

A specialty tea and matcha sweets shop located in JR Hakata City, the station building at Hakata Station. The shop is popular among women, and it's not uncommon to see lines forming. I visited on a Saturday evening during a three-day weekend and the shop was full. Luckily, I was alone and was able to find a table for two soon after entering. I had already decided to order the matcha and strawberry parfait before entering the shop. It was a spring-like item with delicious matcha and strawberries. The portion was satisfying. The only downside was that the water served tasted a bit off.

The interior of the store is designed in a Japanese style with white tones and wood accents. It is always crowded due to its popularity. On this day, I ordered a matcha parfait and Japanese red tea. The matcha parfait was delicious. It had matcha white chocolate, matcha warabi, two types of matcha ice cream, crunch, and almond tofu... It was a luxurious matcha parfait with a rich Uji flavor. It was quite expensive at 1750 yen, but when you're tired, indulging in this parfait will make all your fatigue disappear.

Matcha Cafe HACHI Fukuoka City, Hakata Station Area JR Hakata City, Restaurant Street Kuuten 9th floor. A specialty shop for matcha sweets with a main store in Minami-Hama in the city. I used it as soon as it opened. It is relatively empty here in the always crowded Kuuten, but there may be a line depending on the time of day. I have occasionally used a similar cafe before, and the interior is the same, so it seems like a takeover. The interior has a soft, clean feel with ivory tones. Menu: Tax-included drinks from 550 yen, sweets from 748 yen, lunch from 1100 yen. Order ☆ Hojicha shaved ice for 1298 yen tax included - served with warabimochi, hojicha ice cream, chestnuts, red bean paste, and condensed milk and hojicha syrup on the side. The base is milk ice with a soft shave, and the syrup has a unique texture like smooth red bean paste. It was quite voluminous and I couldn't finish it, but the delicious shaved ice with a tea aroma made the still hot September suddenly cooler. Fukuoka is a treasure trove of food, so it's easy to get lost in what to eat, but sometimes it's worth trying the opposite and having dessert before lunch (oh, I'm so full). As a side note, there is an official Eatigo page here with a limited-time pop-up store until January 2022. If you're interested, check it out soon. Matcha Cafe HACHI 2 minutes walk from Hakata Station Open 11:00-22:00 (L.O. 21:30) No regular holidays (follows Kuuten) Parking available.

Located on the 9th floor of the "Kuuten (restaurant district)" directly connected to Hakata Station, this matcha cafe offers a variety of sweet treats, but the main attraction is their shaved ice. The "Matcha Shaved Ice" comes with matcha warabi mochi, chestnuts, red beans, condensed milk, and the option to add extra condensed milk or matcha syrup on the side. The matcha flavor is rich and not too sweet, and the matcha ice cream is delicious. The "Hojicha Shaved Ice" is also available, with hojicha warabi mochi, chestnuts, red beans, and condensed milk, along with the option to add extra condensed milk or hojicha syrup on the side. The hojicha flavor is refreshing and the syrup adds a nice touch. Both options have attention to detail in the ingredients. While matcha shaved ice is a classic, the hojicha option offers a refreshing twist. Perfect for enjoying during the hot summer days!

I have been to a shop near Niehama before, but it seems that a new one has opened at Kuuten (Hakata Station) recently, so I went there (by my partner). The Tiramisu I was looking for was only available as a set with warabi mochi for 968 yen, which made me hesitate a bit. However, my partner, who is determined, chose the hojicha tiramisu without any hesitation and we also ordered a latte as a set. Since each person can only order one item, I reluctantly ended up with an iced coffee. The tiramisu was hmm... not as good as the matcha tiramisu I had in Niehama, but still... To make matters worse, they forgot our drinks haha. It ended up costing us 1900 yen for the break, which was a bit pricey!

I was in the mood for a matcha latte, so I decided to visit HACHI at KITTE Hakata. I had tried their matcha tiramisu at the Oimachi branch a few years ago and remembered how delicious it was, so I had high expectations. During the cafe time at 3 pm, there were a few groups waiting. The interior of the store was dimly lit with indirect lighting, which I personally liked. The seating options included sofa seats and chair seats. Usually, chair seats are not very comfortable, but here they were soft and cozy. I ordered matcha ice cream with red beans and chestnuts on top, as I love matcha, red beans, and chestnuts. It was incredibly delicious, with a subtle sweetness. It paired perfectly with coffee. They accept electronic payments.
